Not good. Severe internal conflict. And just as other comments have said, it’s terrible. After the interview, you have to submit a bunch of things that other companies don’t require. The interview is full of difficult and unreasonable questions, and it’s even worse after joining. What they say is completely different from what you experience after joining.
Super stable.
I really want to discourage anyone from coming here. You can’t choose your own unit, and if the unit is bad, everything about it is bad. The longtime section chief acts like they’re the boss. There’s also a self-important administrative assistant who thinks she’s the section chief’s wife, so she talks very loudly. She targets people rather than dealing with issues, and spends all day painting unrealistic pictures. Those who are favored are treated like babies; those who aren’t favored are treated like shit.

I genuinely advise people against coming here. You can’t choose your own unit; if the unit is bad, everything about it is bad. The long-serving section chief acts like the boss. Salary is always paid on time.
Even if you do more work and do it better, you are still treated unfairly, regardless of how long you have been with the company. Even when managers bully, verbally humiliate, or provoke people, the rewards that should be given will only go to those who buy things for and otherwise curry favor with them. If it weren't for the money, who would put up with this treatment? They only loudly proclaim that anyone who has experienced unfair treatment can complain to upper management—listen to them spout nonsense. They are merely placating everyone. Even when people's privacy is compromised, they use excuses to brush it off, claiming that upper management has dealt with it. They are solely focused on quickly forcing long-serving employees out. Without the efforts and struggles of these veteran employees, how could you managers sit so securely in those positions? I deeply regret having worked for this company.
There is indoor parking, bonuses are paid in cash, and salaries are deposited on time.
One person is expected to do the work of several people. Those with connections get promoted quickly. If you want to build your skills, you can unlock many abilities. Capable employees keep getting more work. They say there will be performance reviews and salary adjustments, but it depends on how good your relationship with your supervisor is.
Diverse learning opportunities
The several accounts describing the Robotics Division are quite fair and insightful!
In the Robotics Division, employees almost always change career paths after about a year. As long as you stay long enough, you generally don’t need to worry too much about having an insufficiently broad professional network.
Regarding the recruitment website, although it lists employee benefits and so on, the benefits are limited to full-time employees and interns. Hourly workers do not receive any benefits, including annual leave or year-end banquets. Some policies do follow the Labor Standards Act, but if you encounter special circumstances, it is safer to ask in person and clarify. As for wages, it is best to check the calculations carefully every month (sometimes you may be paid less than you should be, but you will not be left unpaid). Regarding the job duties, the position you apply for may not necessarily be the position’s actual work. This applies to full-time, hourly, and intern roles alike. The work is extremely diverse and depends entirely on your relationship with your “supervisor.” In this department, those who know how to curry favor tend to be better regarded, while people who are less articulate or have more opinions are usually sidelined.
For hourly workers, I suggest treating it as a short-term job to gain some experience and then moving on.
All bonuses are paid in cash, there is an indoor parking lot, uniforms are worn at work, and overtime is paid rather than compensated with time off in lieu.
The Robotics Division is really awful.
Although it is divided into three sections, the work is still all mixed together (it is clear that there are major management problems). As for section leaders, anyone who has a good relationship with the manager can become one, so ability is secondary—building relationships is what matters most. The department’s employees tend to be younger; most are passionate young people who have stayed there since graduation. Although they lack sufficient social experience, they think they are extremely capable simply because they have been with the company for a long time (?) There is also another group who never get to the point when they speak and have absolutely no logic in the way they work. They only use working overtime every day to prove how loyal and devoted they are to the company. I sincerely recommend that if you are looking for a job you can keep until retirement, this department is absolutely not an option! If you want to come here to challenge your abilities, this is not a place where work is done based on ability, so don’t waste your time!
Diverse learning
If you're changing jobs after the Lunar New Year, don't consider the Robotics Business Division.
Otherwise, you'll probably have to look for another job again next year.
The salary is just on the edge of the Labor Standards Act.
Although I’ve already left, I still feel everyone should know:
Sometimes we work ourselves to death, yet there’s no intention of hiring anyone.
I heard there’s some SGS certification recently. I honestly feel that nothing has really changed for several years.
Whatever was going to break has probably already broken by now, so why do we need SGS?
As long as there are no complaints and nothing changes—or as long as they don’t mess around—it’s considered good enough, I guess.
The company’s systems and policies are well established.
The three holiday bonuses and performance bonuses are all paid in cash.
The benefits are comprehensive.
I strongly agree with what the senior colleagues above have shared.
Especially in the Robotics Business Division, even after a year, the reference reliability is still 100%. Besides supervisors whose management and work abilities are astonishing, there are also quite a few “unique” colleagues.
If you are a serious and responsible person who enjoys excitement and is willing to take on all kinds of challenges, the Robotics Business Division can absolutely give you the opportunity to shine!
Indoor parking lot
In addition to the experiences shared above by several senior colleagues from the Robotics Business Division, I would like to add some basic observations from my several years working in a production unit.
Due to various audits and last year's national evaluation award, the operating procedures have been revised again and again without addressing any of the key issues—but let's set that aside for now.
The unit's senior manager is basically only responsible for holding meetings and appeasing upper management. New employee training has no process and is a complete mess; new hires are simply thrown into doing operators' work.
The junior managers, meanwhile, are responsible for expanding their own little cliques. If you know how to curry favor, they will teach you a little more and occasionally order delivery drinks so you can slack off for a while. Otherwise, they gather together to scroll through their phones and play mobile games—what a happy life!
Those who are more reserved, shy, and not good at socializing are simply left to flounder and treated as disposable operators.
Those who know how to curry favor always receive high performance ratings, regardless of whether they can actually do the job. Even if they are newcomers who have just joined, if they are good at currying favor, they can spend work hours browsing their phones and watching videos, avoid overtime, and still get promoted right before your eyes.
Those who do not know how to curry favor receive terrible performance ratings and are excluded from bonuses, year-end bonuses, and even the 2% pay raise.
The clique mentality is also extremely serious and very real! Even promotion paperwork depends on whether you have a good relationship with the right people. If you do not have much interaction with them, you may have to wait another year or two before it is your turn.
They also deliberately try to drive out people they dislike. It is not that those people cannot do the work; they simply do not know how to curry favor and only work diligently with their heads down.
Even interns and new employees may curry favor so excessively that they become emboldened to overstep their authority and order you to do work they themselves are not even very familiar with. Worse, they may gossip about you behind your back to the supervisors in the office, making the department chaotic and extremely disharmonious.
Oh, and interns will also pick and choose their work: anything too tiring is rejected, while they only want tasks that let them show off and take credit.
This is the workplace environment I have observed after working for several years in a production unit!
The company’s benefits system is fairly comprehensive.
I also agree with the comments regarding the robotics division. The lack of staff has made job responsibilities a complete mess, and the turnover rate is truly extremely high...! There are really plenty of people who want to climb the ladder but lack the ability. If you want to challenge yourself, this is the best battlefield~
Overtime is paid at a set rate. The boss and the other departments get along very well, and the company as a whole is highly organized, with clear and well-defined procedures for getting things done—except for the newly established department.
I couldn't agree more with the previous review about the Robotics Business Division. Think very carefully before joining this department; otherwise, prepare yourself mentally and do not have any expectations. This applies to both work and people. You will face someone who spends all day claiming to be busy, but if you observe carefully, you will find that she has no idea what she is busy with, and then dumps the work on you. During working hours, she handles her own personal matters, including things like car-loan payment documents being lost. Whenever she gets the chance, she whispers in the manager's ear. If you are not a drama queen, do not enter this department. You will never be able to understand the mindset of someone who shows concern one second and then steps on you to climb upward the next. The department is divided into three sections. The heads of each section are, for the most part, decent people, but some have been slandered, some have been sidelined, and two have left. At present, only the section head of one section is officially appointed; the heads of the other two sections are merely acting heads. Be especially careful to protect your own efforts and hard work in this department. It is recommended that you put your name on every case you personally handle, to prevent malicious people from submitting your completed work upward as their own. Even when you are forced into a situation where you have no choice but to leave, they will still find ways to make you hand over things they can use. Salaries are based entirely on the Labor Standards Act. Do not work overtime beyond the allowed hours, but do not refuse to work overtime either. In any case, people will talk whether you work overtime or not. The company has designated break times, but if you are afraid of being targeted, you should just keep working during your breaks. Otherwise, someone may say that this department is special and busier, and may not be able to follow the break times provided by the company. Of course, you can choose to ignore them; the company does announce the break times. You will just have to bear the pressure of public opinion. Remember to stay on the acting team leader's good side, because if you fail to do so, she will think of every possible way to speak negatively about you to the manager. As for the work, it depends on the individual’s perspective—but there is definitely a reason why this department’s turnover rate is particularly high.
The new factory environment is good
There is a parking lot
8-hour shifts
Two days off per week
Frequent overtime; sometimes overtime is scheduled on Saturdays
Family-owned business
Average salary
When the boss gives bonuses, they really give money—not gift vouchers or some other inexplicable thing. The salary is poor, but the benefits and bonuses are quite good “for a traditional industry company.” The office building is relatively spacious and bright.
The manager of the robotics division has absolutely no direction in his work and completely lacks management skills. He does not care about rules or procedures; everything is governed by personal discretion. The supervisor has absolutely no guts: even when staffing is insufficient, he agrees with whatever the boss says, then turns around and exploits his subordinates. However, he never advocates for them. All bonuses and benefits are given based on whether the general manager or boss is in a good or bad mood, rather than being secured through the supervisor’s efforts (although he will claim that he fought for them). The department’s bad apples are never (dare to be) dealt with; the supervisor lets them run around causing trouble and bullying others. He only trusts certain flattering, obsequious people: whatever these people say about their colleagues, he believes wholesale. He does not normally care about his subordinates, and if he takes a dislike to you, he will use a work-interview form to pressure you into leaving. He is even afraid that the bad apples will become angry or upset and resign, so he shifts responsibility for mistakes onto other people. Punishments are only directed at those who usually work quietly and are not close to him; even if people close to him are incompetent, they still receive very high performance ratings. Another person, a planner who is supposedly a junior supervisor and originally worked as a graphic designer, has no marketing or planning ability at all but insists on doing planning work (and does not even understand what planning means, while constantly saying that he wants to be a planner). His work is inefficient and often delays event schedules. When something goes wrong, he shifts the blame to his subordinates and disappears. He is extremely emotional and often makes loud outbursts in the office. Anyone more capable than him becomes a thorn in his side and is repeatedly sabotaged. He often says, “You’ve overstepped your authority, haven’t you?” and obstructs your work. He is highly demanding of other people’s “respect.” I recommend thinking twice before joining this company, at least until these two “supervisors” have left.
