Honestly, I’d discourage anyone from coming here. You can’t choose your own department, and if the department is bad, everything about it is bad. The longtime section chief acts like they’re the boss. There’s also an arrogant administrative assistant who thinks she’s the section chief’s wife, so she speaks very loudly. She focuses on the person rather than the issue, and spends all day making grand promises. Favorites are treated like babies; those who aren’t favored are treated like shit.
