Seriously, I’d discourage anyone from coming here. You can’t choose your own department, and if the department is bad, everything is bad. The long-serving section chief acts like the boss. There’s also a self-important administrative assistant who thinks she’s the section chief’s wife, so she talks very loudly. She targets people rather than dealing with issues and spends all day painting rosy pictures. Those who are favored are treated like babies; those who aren’t are treated like shit.
