I genuinely advise people against coming here. You can't choose your own department; if the department is bad, everything is bad. The longtime section chief acts like they're the boss. There's also a self-important administrative assistant who thinks that, because she's the section chief's wife, she can speak very loudly. She targets people rather than the issues and spends all day painting rosy pictures. Those in favor are treated like babies; those out of favor are treated like shit.
