I genuinely advise people against coming here. You can't choose your own department; if the department is bad, everything about it is bad. The long-serving section chief acts like the boss. There's also a self-important administrative assistant who thinks she's the section chief's wife, so she talks very loudly. She targets people instead of addressing issues and spends all day making empty promises. Favorites are treated like babies; those who aren't favored are treated like shit.
