Honestly, I’d discourage anyone from coming here. You can’t choose your own department, and if the department is bad, everything about it is bad. The longtime section chief acts like the boss. There’s also a self-important administrative assistant who thinks she’s the section chief’s wife, so she talks extremely loudly. She targets people rather than dealing with issues, and spends all day making grand promises. Those who are favored are treated like babies; those who aren’t are treated like garbage.
