In addition to the experiences shared above by several senior colleagues from the Robotics Business Division, I would like to add some basic observations from my several years working in a production unit.

Due to various audits and last year's national evaluation award, the operating procedures have been revised again and again without addressing any of the key issues—but let's set that aside for now.

The unit's senior manager is basically only responsible for holding meetings and appeasing upper management. New employee training has no process and is a complete mess; new hires are simply thrown into doing operators' work.

The junior managers, meanwhile, are responsible for expanding their own little cliques. If you know how to curry favor, they will teach you a little more and occasionally order delivery drinks so you can slack off for a while. Otherwise, they gather together to scroll through their phones and play mobile games—what a happy life!

Those who are more reserved, shy, and not good at socializing are simply left to flounder and treated as disposable operators.

Those who know how to curry favor always receive high performance ratings, regardless of whether they can actually do the job. Even if they are newcomers who have just joined, if they are good at currying favor, they can spend work hours browsing their phones and watching videos, avoid overtime, and still get promoted right before your eyes.

Those who do not know how to curry favor receive terrible performance ratings and are excluded from bonuses, year-end bonuses, and even the 2% pay raise.

The clique mentality is also extremely serious and very real! Even promotion paperwork depends on whether you have a good relationship with the right people. If you do not have much interaction with them, you may have to wait another year or two before it is your turn.

They also deliberately try to drive out people they dislike. It is not that those people cannot do the work; they simply do not know how to curry favor and only work diligently with their heads down.

Even interns and new employees may curry favor so excessively that they become emboldened to overstep their authority and order you to do work they themselves are not even very familiar with. Worse, they may gossip about you behind your back to the supervisors in the office, making the department chaotic and extremely disharmonious.

Oh, and interns will also pick and choose their work: anything too tiring is rejected, while they only want tasks that let them show off and take credit.

This is the workplace environment I have observed after working for several years in a production unit!
