Read the community guidelinesThe only advantage of this job is that the colleagues are all very nice.
The people most likely to set traps for you are usually the boss’s favorites.
Climbing the ladder by stepping on other people’s corpses is really f***ed up.
As for everything else, it’s basically a collection of every possible disadvantage.
What the boss is best at isn’t management, but insulting employees and their entire ancestry; what they do most often isn’t communicate, but humiliate people.
There are so many company rules that it feels like playing a survival game, and every single one is based on the boss’s personal preferences.
You have to do your actual job at work, while also moonlighting as the person who orders lunch, handles general affairs, and tends the garden.
One person is worked like three; the work never gets finished, but new bizarre tasks show up every day.
Some companies are short-staffed;
this company is short on conscience.
Get into the boss’s inner circle, and the salary and bonuses are pretty good.
The boss’s mood is unpredictable; when they’re in a bad mood, they greet your entire family with a whole repertoire of profanity.
You’re expected to be on call at all times. During peak seasons, you’re forced to work overtime. To put it nicely, the overtime pay per hour is better than the statutory minimum, but you may work more than 12 consecutive hours at most, and work continued after returning home does not count toward your overtime hours. You get less than four hours of sleep a day.
There is unequal treatment in bonuses and benefits. People in the boss’s inner circle can receive large bonuses, while those outside the circle work like pack animals and get their entire families cursed out. They are also ostracized and bullied, led by the boss and members of the inner circle.

1. Colleagues are friendly and generally easy to get along with. Occasionally, we even get together for meals after work.
2. You can learn a lot by taking your work seriously. As long as you are willing to learn, the company’s managers are very willing to teach and share their experience.
3. The company is continuously growing and has good prospects for future development.
4. Contributions to the company are rewarded accordingly. When the company makes a profit, part of it is also shared with employees.
1. Sometimes, you may be assigned miscellaneous tasks unrelated to your original position.
2. Some internal systems and processes are still being optimized.
The company does not favor an old-guard culture.
You cannot rely on seniority to get by.
Your abilities speak for themselves; those with talent or a proven track record have a stronger voice.
The main focus is operating e-commerce businesses.
Good performance means greater say, making it suitable for ambitious people.
The company is fairly generous, particularly when it comes to salary and bonuses.
The boss sometimes pays attention to some strange details,
but it basically does not affect the work.
The interview is not lengthy, and the manager’s questions are concise and straight to the point.
Just answer what you know.
Honestly, after joining the company, I found that my colleagues are all very willing to help one another, with no internal scheming or infighting.
The boss is generous and willing to give.
If there’s something you don’t know, just ask directly.
Basically, more experienced colleagues will provide help and answers.
The salary is good—within Neihu Technology Park, it is considered above average.
The bonuses are genuinely generous; the company really follows through on what it promises and doesn’t make empty promises.
The boss gets angry occasionally, but if you just endure it for a moment, the matter will pass.
The main thing is to get past that mental hurdle; otherwise, everything else is quite good.
At this company, bonuses are generous and plentiful.
Basically, you don't have to worry about salary issues.
In general, the pay is better than the industry average.
You really do receive 4–6 months' worth of year-end bonuses—they're not just making empty promises.
The colleagues are very harmonious, with absolutely no issues involving internal competition or conflict.
They even get together for after-work gatherings and continue socializing afterward.
As for taking leave, supervisors are generally accommodating and do not make things difficult.
It's actually much like an ordinary company—as long as you don't make the boss angry.
Basically, you can stay until retirement.
The boss values loyalty and personal relationships; unless you make a very serious mistake, they won't ask you to leave.
1. Good salary and benefits
2. A new facility will soon be used
3. Good relationships among colleagues
1. Learning about various aspects of the work
2. The boss's temper
Remember to bring your own toilet paper, stationery, Buddhist prayer beads, and wooden fish.
The company does not provide the first two items; the latter two will come in handy when you need to cultivate your character and calm your mind at the company.
The company is great
Some colleagues are genuinely very kind.
The revolutionary camaraderie and mutual care are also real.
But that is the only advantage.
1.
The work requires using different computers for different tasks: one for the system, one for virus scanning, and one personal computer, making you run all over the office. Even when printing something, you have to go to different floors to retrieve the documents.
2.
The office is still stuck in 2010. It is even incompatible with downloaded files when you just want to open an Excel file. All I can say is that this version really could use further improvement.
3.
Rotating duty assignments are truly baffling.
Although the company has administrative and general affairs staff, it does not let them handle these tasks. Instead, employees from other departments have to take turns ordering lunch boxes, taking out the trash, and so on.
The company has 100 employees, yet it does not even have someone dedicated to ordering lunch boxes.
4.
Some official documents are printed on used paper—they are extremely environmentally friendly.
The personnel procedures are a complete mess. You can just casually submit a document, as if you were expected to possess psychic abilities and know how to put it through the process.
5.
I hope the managers of certain departments can genuinely engage in some self-reflection.
They treat people differently depending on who they are.
They do not listen to their subordinates’ opinions and only listen to themselves.
When you switch to another manager to discuss something, everything is suddenly fine.
Otherwise, nothing is ever their fault.
They cannot accept other people’s opinions and think there is nothing wrong with themselves.
They could also really use further training in how they speak.
They make no effort to soften their words, leaving people speechless.
They do not do their own work and keep asking their subordinates to do it.
They say they are busy all day long, but it is genuinely impossible to see what they are busy with~
In short, I hope everything can get better, although the system really makes it impossible to see where the signs of a 100-person company are~
Oh, and if the boss likes you, everything goes smoothly! But if they do not like you, you are on your own~
Relevant experience, foreign nationals/studying abroad/overseas degrees are a plus
104 salaries aren’t made up
For non-management positions, the supervisor conducts the interview personally; one interview determines the outcome
They are relatively less inclined to hire inexperienced candidates
1. The boss is very generous with compensation: 2–6 months’ year-end bonus, monthly bonuses, stock options, and annual raises
2. Employees who perform well can receive a monthly bonus equal to their base salary (double pay)
3. Complies with labor laws: overtime pay, compensatory time off, and flexible leave
4. Colleagues are easy to get along with and often arrange dinners and sports activities outside of work
5. The company has extensive sales channels and a wide range of products: there are many opportunities to learn
1. Every company has areas where things are unfair
2. The boss is emotional and straightforward: if you hit a sensitive spot, you will get chewed out
3. Product pricing and expenses require the boss’s approval: the downside is centralized authority; the upside is that it protects you
4. The company is relatively slow to launch new products
5. Job responsibilities may change significantly: not suitable for people who prefer stability or an easy retirement-like job, but some people have also made a fortune
The colleagues get along very well; otherwise, there is basically nothing positive.
The company often distributes stagnant inventory to employees, and bonuses are also frequently paid late.
You have to pay close attention to the boss’s mood to avoid stepping on landmines. Being sworn at is considered quite commonplace here.
Also, when handling financial matters, sometimes you simply have to gauge the boss’s wife’s mood.
1. Most colleagues share a strong sense of solidarity and mutual support. Even after leaving the company, they still organize alumni gatherings and other events to stay connected.
2. When the company is in a good mood or desperately needs you, it treats you like a prince or princess.
1. As the reviews below state, the boss is extremely emotional, and no one in the company—from vice presidents to assistants—is spared.
The company’s so-called culture and rules are actually determined by the boss’s mood. When the boss is in a good mood, they may tell you to delegate as much work as possible to junior employees, making things easy for you. But when the boss is in a bad mood, even matters the boss personally reviewed and approved can be blamed on you.
The boss is also extremely authoritarian and single-minded. Hiring decisions are often judged by educational qualifications, while factories are chosen based solely on personal connections and relationships. The boss frequently suspects that employees are challenging their authority and makes baseless accusations that employees are colluding with other companies to sell off the business.
Looking at reviews from other years, the boss has only become worse. In recent years, the turnover rate has been extremely high, yet the boss likes to speak ill of former employees and sow discord. The boss also fabricates various accusations to blame departing employees for responsibility and failed business deals, never acknowledging any fault of their own.
2. As the reviews below state, the boss keeps a tight grip on everything, leaving supervisors without real authority. Matters large and small require personally asking the boss for approval.
However, there is no way to predict when the boss will review something. The boss often deliberately makes things difficult for documents that require spending money or may not appeal to them, citing personal emotions or being too busy. Matters that would not even require review at most companies require half an hour of drafting, followed by reposting the same message in group chats for several consecutive days and hoping for a response. The process is lengthy and inefficient.
Major projects handled by sales managers can be delayed because the boss reviews them too slowly and indecisively, forcing employees to repeatedly apologize to clients.
Even basic office supplies are affected: because the boss refuses to approve spending on them, this is a company that does not provide ballpoint pens, toilet paper, and similar necessities. All employees have to pay for them themselves.
3. As the reviews below state, the company’s systems are highly disorganized and nothing like those of a multinational company that has been established for more than 10 years.
When the company had 60 or 70 employees, as many as 30 or 40 people left in a single year. Work handovers were chaotic and unstructured, forcing existing employees to take on an ever-increasing burden of covering for others.
Work assignments were not based on experience, ability, or personal preference, but on the boss’s mood. Positions or department names were changed once every one or two months on average. Throwing people into roles without preparation was the norm, and constantly replacing people in the same position made progress handovers and follow-up difficult, leading to frequent problems.
It was also common for one person to handle three completely different types of work, often with very little overlap, regardless of their preferences or abilities. Employees were frequently required to act as the boss’s driver, were sometimes called to pick up or drop off the boss at the airport at short notice, or were asked to run personal errands related to the boss’s interests, such as purchasing real estate.
4. As the reviews below state, the computers provided are terrible, and the company’s MIS department is a complete disaster.
The company email system frequently crashes or malfunctions. Even simply sending and receiving emails can bring it down, causing all business operations to grind to a halt in a panic, solely because the company refuses to pay for a cloud system with unlimited storage. The computer equipment is also unbearably outdated. Waiting five to ten minutes for a webpage to open is incredibly frustrating. The scale and source of these problems are unlike anything one would expect at a listed multinational company.
5. As the reviews below state, even payments explicitly approved by the boss are still entirely subject to the boss’s wife’s mood before being released. When she is in a bad mood, she makes all kinds of unreasonable demands and refuses to release payments, stringing employees and suppliers along repeatedly. She also stipulates that documents may be taken to her for stamping only on Wednesday afternoons; bringing them in the morning will result in an arrogant refusal to stamp them. For important documents that require an urgent stamp, employees can only waste time waiting for the boss or his wife to come to the office and then meekly plead with them.
6. The company’s product development progress is extremely slow. Work often comes to a complete standstill because upper management dislikes something and throws a tantrum, making things difficult while refusing to take responsibility or provide specific instructions.
Junior employees are under enormous pressure, constantly trying to guess what upper management wants and mentally preparing themselves to be scolded. Product development decisions can be delayed for more than six months over something as small as a logo the size of a finger.
In addition, treatment within the company varies dramatically depending on one’s position. The e-commerce department, which generates revenue, chats, relaxes, and jokes around every day, while the nearby shipping and production-line teams are frequently subjected to unreasonable demands and rushed deadlines, leaving everyone miserable.
The procurement and accounting departments have it worst of all, because every expense and approval must be handled directly with the boss and the boss’s wife. They are constantly subjected to relentless pressure and reprimands.
There are monthly bonuses, the salary is decent, and overtime is not required. Suitable for people who enjoy learning or are interested in sales.
The boss treats sales-related staff better and offers them better待遇. Otherwise, be careful not to go against their wishes, or you may get chewed out. (If you are assigned to a department, you generally will not have much direct contact with the boss.)
The company occasionally asks employees to use their off-hours to go to the Yilan factory for group meals or team building.
Should always be hiring, because good employees will all leave
An overbearing boss who speaks with a class-conscious tone definitely does not make for a pleasant work environment.
1. The boss is very good with numbers and business operations; there are indeed things to learn from him.
2. As long as the boss thinks you are talented, he is very generous with salary offers.
3. Some colleagues have a strong sense of camaraderie and are also very willing to lend a hand at work.
1. The company's systems are very unstructured..... It really doesn't seem like a company that has been established for more than 10 years.
2. One person usually has to take on three different roles (with very wide-ranging responsibilities). Although the salary is good, the work is really too miscellaneous and chaotic, and you are often assigned strange tasks.
3. The boss keeps tight control, while supervisors have no real authority; big or small matters all require asking the boss for instructions. The boss makes decisions quickly but is also very impatient because there are too many varied matters to decide on. He often forgets what he was originally told and then overturns his own previous decisions, leaving the person responsible to take the blame. (You can't talk back; the boss is treated like a god.)
4. [Some colleagues] indeed have a strong sense of camaraderie, but this is limited to certain colleagues. Redundant staff and “Pokémon” are also frighteningly good at shifting blame and taking credit......
The work pressure is okay, but the reporting relationships are very emotionally exhausting....
Oh, right~ The computers issued by the company are extremely bad, and the company's MIS is a real landmine.....
I have worked at this company since 2018. Everyone gets along well with their colleagues, and supervisors clearly distinguish between rewards and penalties. Whenever the company makes a profit, bonuses are distributed from time to time.
The boss is relatively strict. Naturally, this may lead new employees to think that the boss has a bad temper. However, one should understand that operating a company is not easy. If the boss were not strict, how could the product quality be maintained? I believe that capable people can perform well at any company. People without ability will quickly leave regardless of which company they join.
Some new employees are still unfamiliar with the new environment but are eager to prove themselves. This may create a high risk of the company’s online business accounts being suspended, leading them to believe that the boss became angry and has a bad temper because of similar incidents. New employees may then resign in anger, creating the impression that employee turnover among new hires is high.
None
As mentioned on the forum
Most colleagues are very easy to get along with.
1. Disorganized company structure:
The intention behind the company's organizational restructuring is good, but the restructuring plan lacks comprehensive consideration. The extent to which the company is simply taking things one step at a time is astonishing. After management communicated the initial plan, they did not promptly discuss the next steps, leaving frontline employees at a loss.
2. Employees taking on multiple roles:
To reduce personnel costs, the company does not fill vacancies. Current employees must take on additional work to keep the company operating. Anyone may end up simultaneously serving as a PM, purchaser, or salesperson, depending on the boss's mood when assigning work.
3. Work environment and atmosphere:
The boss often smokes inside their private office, forcing colleagues outside to be exposed to secondhand smoke. Not to mention that on multiple occasions, employees have heard the boss loudly berating staff in the private office, with no regard for whether such behavior affects office morale.
4. Reduced benefits:
The business-trip allowance was cut this year, monthly meetings are on the verge of becoming annual meetings, and there has not been even a trace of an employee trip.
I have worked at this company for 6 years. Every year, the company organizes employee trips or family days/energy camps. The company owner takes good care of the employees. The supervisors and staff in every department are easy to get along with, and whenever you have questions, someone is willing to help. The company’s business is also getting better and better. I am very happy and feel fortunate working at this company.
Actually, the drawbacks are the same as those of other companies: when the company makes money and provides benefits, everyone is happy. When it doesn’t make money and has to tighten its belt, everyone complains.
After thinking it over, the only motivation to go to work every day is the great colleagues in the department—and being close to home.
1. The top boss is extremely emotional and curses at employees of every rank in his private office, from vice presidents down to assistants. He also smokes heavily inside the office, and our department happens to be closest to his office, so we have to inhale his secondhand smoke every time. We can only silently put on our own masks to protect ourselves from the smell of smoke.
2. It is called global branding in name, but they are fundamentally unwilling to spend even a cent on brand marketing. All kinds of marketing budgets are rejected. Even the annual product catalog has to be repeatedly cost-cut with the printer. In the end, the printer’s representative even advised us not to print it, because the results of printing with such a low budget would be very poor. There are far too many cases like this to list.
3. There is absolutely no system, and managers at every level lack a sense of responsibility, as if this were the company’s first year. For example, there is no SOP for expense reimbursement; whether expenses are approved depends entirely on the boss’s wife’s mood. It often happens that the top boss approves an expense, but if the boss’s wife is in a bad mood, she makes all kinds of difficulties and refuses to release the payment, stringing employees and vendors along again and again. (The vendors say they are used to it.)
4. Military-style management: The office is extremely quiet—you can even hear a pin drop. Any absence or departure must be reported on the company Skype. Even stepping out for 10 minutes during work hours to pick up documents from the copy shop next door must be reported. The company is highly distrustful of employees. Colleagues in the same department are not allowed to go to the restroom or pantry at the same time. I was once “spoken to” because I went to the restroom while discussing work with a colleague from my department.
5. Sales above all. This company is highly performance-oriented (which is not necessarily a bad thing), but only salespeople are treated like gods. Everyone in other supporting functions has to work like a beast and cater to the sales team’s moods. Think twice before applying for a non-sales position.
6. Business management problems: 15% of the workforce was laid off in the short term. From November 2017 to February 2018, nearly 20 people were laid off.
