If you get into the boss’s inner circle, the salary and bonuses are pretty good.
The boss’s mood is unpredictable; when they’re in a bad mood, they greet your entire family with a whole slew of profanity.
You’re expected to be on call at all times, and during peak seasons, you’re forced to work overtime. To put it nicely, the overtime pay for each hour is better than the statutory minimum, but you may end up working more than 12 consecutive hours at most, and any work you continue doing after getting home doesn’t count toward your overtime hours. You get less than four hours of sleep a day.
There is unequal treatment when it comes to bonuses and benefits. People in the boss’s inner circle can receive large bonuses, while those outside the circle work like dogs, get their entire families cursed out, and are also ostracized and bullied with the boss and inner-circle employees leading the way.
