Cons

1. The supervisor likes to berate people based on their mood.

2. The supervisor does not respect employees’ off-hours, frequently sending messages in group chats and tagging subordinates on holidays. Work is distributed unevenly, and employees are forcefully required to complete it within unreasonable deadlines. Even expressing a desire for more time to work is criticized as resisting the higher-ups’ wishes. Employees may even need to work overtime at the company until 11 p.m. A truly frightening workplace culture.

3. The supervisor clearly makes mistakes, misunderstands others, and harshly berates and questions subordinates in group chats. After realizing the mistake, the supervisor does not apologize and remains silent.

Unless you are extremely short of money or completely unable to find a job, I recommend not coming to this company to suffer needlessly.

Pros

Comfortable work environment

Cons

1. The head office is too far from Neihu Gangqian Station.

2. It claims to be a native digital bank, but in reality its systems are extremely weak, and the turnover rate among system staff is extremely high.

3. No KPIs were set at the beginning of the year. Annual employee evaluations are based solely on managers’ personal preferences, with no performance discussion held with employees for the year.

4. Employees can choose only one meat and one vegetarian lunchbox option each day, and the lunchbox vendor never changes.

5. Originally, I had more than ten days of personal annual leave (calculated based on my previous years of employment). When I was going through the resignation process, I was told that my annual leave for the current year had to be reverted to the number stipulated by the Labor Standards Act (7 days per year). The additional leave benefit was completely removed—more than ten days became seven—and the salary for leave already taken that year would be deducted... What? After working for so many years, this was the first time I had ever heard of such a rule, and it was even written in the employee handbook.

6. The female manager is extremely emotional, likes to gossip at work, and has absolutely no management ability.

7. The turnover rate across the entire bank is extremely high.

Pros

The company’s exterior is impressive, and the environment is comfortable.

Cons

The senior executive conducting the interview had a very forceful presence. Put positively, she was quick, decisive, and to the point; put less positively, she had little patience for listening to the interviewee’s answers.

Many questions seemed to require that your views not differ from hers, giving the impression that she had very little empathy.

The interviewee had to complete a test paper at an elementary- or middle-school level. It felt like a company from a bygone era—extremely backward.

Cons

The manager is not very bright. If you are looking for a job, please choose your manager and colleagues carefully.

When asking the person responsible for the handover, they mostly brush you off by saying it is very simple or that they do not have time. Otherwise, they conduct the handover with an impatient look. Senior employees are very reluctant to share details, and the procedures are long and complicated. When problems arise, they blame the new employee. Derivatives-related work is often a complete mess.

The manager does not understand the Labor Standards Act. Why should they care if you work overtime? Even if they think you are unsuitable for the job and ask you to resign, they will pressure you to say that you resigned voluntarily, so they will not have to pay severance. Regardless of how many years of experience you have, they insist on cutting your salary.

New employees are mostly brought in through personal connections. Internally, it is like a pyramid scheme. We have encountered this kind of working relationship for the first time as well, so everyone should think carefully.

Pros

There are many meeting rooms, and the office space looks very comfortable.

Cons

On the day of the interview, the process involved going to the company and using my own phone to make a WhatsApp video call to the interview manager, who was working from home.

Others were conducting interviews this way in the other meeting rooms as well, and the meeting rooms were poorly soundproofed, so I could hear the candidates’ introductions and the interview managers’ questions.

Pros

The bonuses are pretty good, but they keep getting reduced. In the past, interviews mentioned that there were lots of holidays, but now there are none.

The company has a bunch of affinity cards and has a good image when it comes to charity.

Cons

A whole bunch:

1. The newly arrived oo manager speaks bluntly and does things without logic, and likes to contradict themselves. Anyway, shameless people are invincible, haha.

2. The company as a whole does things without logic and is too willing to muddle through.

3. When there is nothing to do, they insist on finding things for themselves to do.

4. Most male managers make lewd jokes. Does anyone want to hear them? I heard that some also grope people.

Pros

Pros: The work itself is simple; the key is not the work content but managing upward.

Cons

Overall, the company’s development strategy is wavering, and its performance in the industry is among the laggards.

Regarding the hiring department, the manager’s management style has serious problems. They often request meetings at short notice at 6:00 or 6:30; work requirements are not clearly explained and instructions are ambiguous, resulting in repeated revisions and an extreme waste of time; job responsibilities are also poorly defined. In addition, employees often feel disrespected. Taken together, these factors have resulted in a relatively high employee turnover rate.

Conclusion: I do not recommend working for this company.
