The manager is not very bright. If you are looking for a job, please choose your manager and colleagues carefully.
When asking the person responsible for the handover, they mostly brush you off by saying it is very simple or that they do not have time. Otherwise, they conduct the handover with an impatient look. Senior employees are very reluctant to share details, and the procedures are long and complicated. When problems arise, they blame the new employee. Derivatives-related work is often a complete mess.
The manager does not understand the Labor Standards Act. Why should they care if you work overtime? Even if they think you are unsuitable for the job and ask you to resign, they will pressure you to say that you resigned voluntarily, so they will not have to pay severance. Regardless of how many years of experience you have, they insist on cutting your salary.
New employees are mostly brought in through personal connections. Internally, it is like a pyramid scheme. We have encountered this kind of working relationship for the first time as well, so everyone should think carefully.
