Pros

The company culture places a strong emphasis on commitment and overall goal orientation, with relatively "high" expectations regarding individual cooperation and level of effort. Regarding the compensation and incentive systems, it is recommended that applicants fully understand the "working hours" and "feedback mechanisms" before applying, in order to assess the overall working conditions.

Cons

According to disclosures on the Market Observation Post System, the company reported cumulative losses of "NT$7.65 per share" for fiscal year 2025, and the board of directors resolved not to distribute "employee bonuses" or director and supervisor remuneration this year.

The relevant financial and compensation policies have been clearly disclosed publicly. Prospective applicants are advised to consider them as part of their overall career and "risk" assessment.

Pros

Vegetarian lunch boxes on Wednesdays; the company’s employee welfare fund does a pretty good job organizing activities.

Cons

Small company with no year-end bonus

The senior employees there act as if they have eyes on top of their heads and are arrogant toward new or lower-ranking employees. It’s kind of like the seniority system in the military. They call people over for no reason just to chew them out.

Pros

Although I left long ago, hearing that Manager Kuo had resigned was still immensely satisfying. Former colleagues there said everyone celebrated enthusiastically—almost to the point of opening champagne. This person's behavior had constantly caused everyone a great deal of trouble, while Boss Tsao merely pretended to be compassionate, wanting to reform him without considering the pain of others. His departure is truly a blessing for everyone else. With such a harmful presence gone, the workplace will be much happier. I heard that someone has already returned. To my former colleagues, I extend my greatest blessings—this is truly a cause for universal celebration!

Cons

Transportation is very inconvenient. Raises come a bit slowly. But if you attach yourself to the right person, you’ll enjoy lasting peace and security.

Pros

Unexpectedly

Cons

There is a very outstanding manager at the Taipei plant

who goes around nitpicking whether each department complies with the company’s internal governance standards

and whether approval authority requirements are being followed.

Yet they can take the lead in breaking laws and regulations with impunity.

This reminds me of the movie *To Be Number One*, in which the Anti-Corruption Department is actually the darkest of all.

Would the department manager really not know what the members of the department normally do?

Would the boss really not know what the first-level managers under them normally do?

Not to mention that meetings of department-level managers are held every Monday, and nearly all documents are signed by the boss.

It seems that the boss knows, and approves of this kind of behavior.

To the outstanding manager of the Taipei plant

To the admirable employees of the Taipei plant

To the unfortunate job seekers at the Taipei plant

Pros

If you want to learn anything, you have to endure workplace bullying, and even after enduring it, you may not necessarily learn anything. It only adds negative emotions…

Cons

Manager Guo XX of the Accounting Department in the Finance Division

1. Gender discrimination: Married women are asked to get divorced and remarry their landlord, who is in his 70s, with the claim that they would then be financially free and would not need to work. Unmarried women are told that a landlord in his 70s is a good choice.

2. Verbal bullying: Publicly shouting insults in the Finance Division office, including using profanities toward superiors and saying that the chairman’s and CFO’s decisions are wrong; toward subordinates, saying that no part of their work is good, that they are easily replaceable, and that anyone could do a better job than they can. Long-serving colleagues are told that they should have resigned but have not. Colleagues’ body shapes and poverty-stricken family backgrounds are judged…

3. Shifting responsibility: As a supervisor, he does not check the information provided to the accounting firm. When the accounting firm reports that the information contains problems, he immediately scolds subordinates in front of the accounting firm and says that it is the subordinates’ fault.

When subordinates ask about work they do not know how to do, he does not teach them. He only verbally abuses them and acts as if he is the only capable person. In reality, he cannot do it himself, so he is unable to teach it.

4. Fighting within the Finance Division: Managers fight among themselves, managers fight subordinates, managers fight subordinates from other departments, and subordinates fight among themselves. They are fighting at any time every day, with no peace at all.

5. Traditional family business: As long as you keep the relatives of the royal family happy and work overtime after hours for the chairman to see, you can get promoted and receive a raise by flattering those above you.

6. Personal preference (a favored subordinate, Accountant Hu): In a workplace-bullying environment, senior employees bully newer employees, and if you cannot stay, you are told that your ability to withstand pressure is too low. It is acceptable to go home to cook at 11 a.m., bring freshly cooked braised pork back at noon to curry favor, and return to the company at nearly 2 p.m. No one minds. Not being able to find someone during working hours is considered normal. They falsely claim meal expenses and club meals, then use the extra meals purchased with that money to cultivate relationships everywhere.

It goes on and on…

Pros

As long as you know how to flatter the boss, you can coast comfortably until retirement.

Cons

This company is terrible—do not come work here under any circumstances!

The people at the company are all very lazy and inefficient; they only know how to dump work on their subordinates.

The managers are all very old and don’t understand new technology; they only know how to get promoted through connections.

The company benefits are terrible, the pay is low, and they don’t even pay overtime.

The company culture is awful: people like gossiping and talking behind others’ backs.

The engineers are all slackers, spending the entire day downstairs smoking, chatting, eating breakfast, drinking coffee, and sleeping.

If you don’t want to work seriously and just want to coast along doing nothing, this company is perfect for you.

Pros

You can work with major brand-name clients

Cons

Although it is a listed company, its internal management is chaotic and it still operates like a small company. The company’s HR department is very poor and does not meet the standards expected of a listed company. Basically, it does not comply with the Labor Standards Act, including internal overtime, promotions, job adjustments, severance, interview and hiring practices, and so on—there are problems at every stage.

I advise job applicants to pay close attention to Dongshuo’s personnel-related documents, including employment contracts, confidentiality clauses, personal data protection provisions, and so on, as they may contain hidden pitfalls that are unfavorable to employees. Be sure to review them carefully, and raise any concerns promptly if you feel something is problematic.

The company’s direction is chaotic, and personnel changes are frequent. There are major management issues, with the organization being restructured every few months and managers constantly coming and going.

They show very little respect for employees’ expertise, treating them as disposable labor, and salaries are also below the industry average..

Pros

None.

Cons

No matter when they start work, the supervisors in the Quality Control and Engineering departments are glued to their office chairs. They do not deal with problems involving incoming materials. When the SMT manufacturing or downstream manufacturing and testing teams encounter problems and look for Engineering or Quality Assurance, no one can be found. Even when someone is eventually located, they only verbally promise to handle it, but no one comes over until just before shipment, leaving the production line supervisors to resolve and improve the situation. Being a manufacturing supervisor is the worst: every manufacturing supervisor who has joined has been forced to resign within five minutes after assisting with quality improvements on the production line. What kind of company is this? Every word is true. Even more strangely, the Quality Assurance IPQC team only audits 5S in the workshop every day. When product quality abnormalities occur, the reports they provide to Sales for customer complaints are complete nonsense. They never assist with assessment or inspection. They even stipulate that design abnormalities cannot be reported to Engineering and prohibit Manufacturing from contacting R&D.

not good here

Cons

Our supervisor found issues with SMT Tapy c materials, poor-quality HDMI component materials, and poor PCB assembly issues with the headphone jack. He asked two QA staff members and the engineering department to help, but they did not support him or resolve the problems. The manager handled the repairs himself. After writing a quality improvement report, he asked an external factory to make a vehicle, and he was forced to resign. Why is this company so strange? Quality has improved. Our production work will be easier. He did nothing wrong and taught us a lot of knowledge, so why was he dismissed?

Low wages, so they can only hire migrant workers because they cannot leave before their contracts end!

Migrant workers’ salaries, benefits, and bonuses are all the same as those of regular employees. They simply refuse to pay local workers a little more, preferring instead to bear the NT$2,500-per-person accommodation fee for migrant workers, plus NT$2,000 per person paid to the government’s Employment Security Fund and NT$5,000 per person for excessive recruitment!

The 104 job posting advertised a bonus, but the operators received no share. Isn’t this deceptive?

No regular overtime.

Cons

Recently, every department in the company except the factory departments has had to take turns supporting the factory as production technicians.

At first, we thought it was just a temporary response to urgent shipping needs—but it turned out to be the beginning of a nightmare. It has been going on for nearly two months now.

A publicly listed company can't even find enough operators, so everyone has to take turns working as operators. What a joke.

At least some department managers are willing to come down and take turns with everyone else.

As for some department managers, they absolutely refuse to go—perhaps they're afraid of getting their hands dirty. They act so high and mighty... all they can do is talk.

The advertised salary is vastly different from the salary listed on job banks—that alone would be bad enough, but they also lied by saying the job involved clerical work when it was actually manual labor. During the wave of resignations, many employees wanted to move to Company B, which offers a higher starting salary for comparable positions. The company even sent someone to ask Company B not to hire its departing employees. I have never seen a company like this. Instead of reflecting on why its turnover is so high, why its efficiency is poor, and why it fails to meet the standards expected of a publicly listed company, it exploits its employees. If it still does not seriously reflect, congratulations—you will soon become No. 1 on the Xizhi blacklist.

The manager does nothing but complain all day long. They say the same things every day, yet think they are very impressive. Every day, they either show off or complain.

They are self-important, complain about the R&D team and subordinates, and have complained about everyone in the department at least once.

They are also very good at currying favor, especially with the boss and vice president. They show severe favoritism toward men and look down on women. When a woman is more capable than the manager, the manager becomes jealous.

Even after someone leaves the company, they continue to smear former colleagues internally.

There is no possibility of ever getting promoted or receiving a raise.

There are too many downsides to list—if you're thinking about working in the warehouse, absolutely don't! Run! Materials control and procurement are a complete mess too. They buy hundreds of pallets of materials that pile up and fill the place, while the important ICs are delayed every time. It's hilarious—the materials control team can't even figure out the material status before placing orders, then they change the orders, and the production line uses materials randomly because they can see which materials can be used as substitutes (black-question-mark face?). It's completely chaotic, with no rules or standards at all.

Cons

The company’s quality management has no procedures at all,

management lacks basic knowledge of the department,

the company’s own regulations are instead followed by no one,

and everyone is always talking past each other.

Being good at gossip is more important than being good at work;

regardless of whether something is right or wrong, they first look at who is responsible,

and only then decide how to handle it.

When problems arise with purchased assembly parts, inspection personnel are blamed for not looking carefully enough, rather than reporting the issue to the supplier. The same situation occurs with every incoming shipment.

The warehouse is full of bugs, and the systems and SOPs are inadequate, causing tasks to remain perpetually unfinished. Reporting issues is useless—they just act as if “that’s how this company is.” This is not the standard a publicly listed company should have, is it? They keep saying there aren’t enough people, then ask you to work overtime. Why not consider that many people deliberately slack off and work slowly because they can’t finish everything, treating overtime pay as an easy paycheck? In any case, if you run out of time, they’ll just ask someone else to help you. It’s ridiculous that, in my first job at a company as a warehouse clerk, I couldn’t even touch a computer; all I did was keep writing material cards. LOL

If your company isn't sincere about interviewing people, please don't randomly contact candidates...

Your company's application form is truly the most tedious and complicated one I've ever filled out, with the most required fields as well...

You called me in for an interview, and for half an hour, this manager spoke in an extremely cutting manner.

They kept making sarcastic remarks, only to say at the end that you were looking for someone with experience in a related industry.

Then you shouldn't have sent me an interview invitation in the first place, nor asked me to come in—only to make cutting remarks and then say you had contacted the wrong person.

Don't other people's time matter too?

It really wasted an ordinary person's time. Can't even the basic arrangements for an interview be made?
