Unexpectedly
There is a very outstanding manager at the Taipei plant
who goes around nitpicking whether each department complies with the company’s internal governance standards
and whether approval authority requirements are being followed.
Yet they can take the lead in breaking laws and regulations with impunity.
This reminds me of the movie *To Be Number One*, in which the Anti-Corruption Department is actually the darkest of all.
Would the department manager really not know what the members of the department normally do?
Would the boss really not know what the first-level managers under them normally do?
Not to mention that meetings of department-level managers are held every Monday, and nearly all documents are signed by the boss.
It seems that the boss knows, and approves of this kind of behavior.
