Emergency bras!!!!!

Red bras are not ordinary underwear at all

Under the premise of encountering an affair, they can be used for graffiti and coloring to mock the protective power of N95 masks. If no ticket is received, the Ig Nobel Prize is won

The design inspiration comes from an exposure trauma risk management strategy, with 3D-printing technology and ready for urgent delivery at any time. The reusable price is 29.99 US dollars, and some people also use it to detect air quality

Research has found that filtering air during nuclear disasters and contamination in toilets, women almost all wear bra masks and figure skate to rescue people. The butterfly effect makes it multifunctional, distinguished by earthquake symbols, buried with imaginative heroes, letting them separate

Pros

Having colleagues who also hate the boss, so we can complain together during lunch breaks.

Cons

First of all, I want to apologize to everyone who shared their experiences. After reading the reviews on Tianyancha, I still went to work at the company. Therefore, this apology notice is to urge those of you who are about to join Skechers: those who came before you have already paved the way. Don’t foolishly continue down the wrong path!!!

1. The interview process

During the interview, they use the annual salary to make the monthly salary look lower, offering an annual package that supposedly amounts to 18–20 months’ salary, including bonuses (and bonuses for the three major holidays).

(This may look like an incentive, but really, don’t be fooled.)

However, the monthly salary includes a perfect-attendance bonus of NT$1,500, which they only tell you about after you start working. In other words, if you are late or take leave, they deduct NT$1,500 right away.

There probably isn’t any overtime pay, and it should also be very difficult to get compensatory leave, so you might as well accept your fate.

Because the Dragon Boat Festival bonus mysteriously disappeared this year, you will probably directly lose one or two months’ worth of bonuses.

Moreover, neither the interview nor the employment letter clearly specifies the salary breakdown, let alone providing a formal, official appointment letter.

2. The work environment

It is located in an office building in Neihu Technology Park.

The company occupies the fifth and eighth floors of the building. The building’s toilets are extremely old.

Even with a cleaning lady, the toilets are still full of the smell of urine, and the toilet seats are yellowed and worn-out.

The following are not shortcomings, but simply a description of the office environment:

The office consists of two connected spaces: an office area and a footwear display area.

The office is relatively quiet and is not an open-plan space; separate shelving units serve as dividers.

3. Within the department

There is not much cooperation either within or between departments. You do your work and I do mine; if you do not proactively ask others, they will not provide you with information either.

The company’s internal processes are very strange. They ask you to do something without first checking it with the boss, and you start carrying it out. Once you finish, if the boss decides it is not acceptable, you have to start over. Of course, if the boss sees something better, they may directly ask you to change the direction of the work.

The marketing department has a very low status in the company. The boss cuts the budget from time to time and demands maximum exposure with minimal funding, squeezing partner vendors and endorsement agencies. The boss has a very unfriendly personality and is extremely penny-pinching whenever money is involved. Working under them is very difficult because employees have to haggle with vendors and negotiate contracts themselves. The funniest part is that employees are asked to compete by submitting proposals, with bonuses offered as rewards, but afterward there is complete silence, as if the bonuses never existed. The boss habitually makes empty promises, including the annual salary mentioned earlier.

4. The boss’s personality

Rules change from one day to the next. Whenever a new idea pops into their head, they have the secretary announce a new policy the following day. Different company rules appear every day; if you seriously counted them all, the company’s regulations could probably be turned into an entire dissertation.

Their mood is unpredictable, sometimes good and sometimes bad. The same project might be approved today and rejected tomorrow, with completely different results. Even things they have confirmed may be met with feigned ignorance, as though they never happened. After working there for a while, you will lose patience with them. In any case, what they say is not necessarily 100% correct or actually carried out.

During holidays or after work, notifications will pop up in the company group chat because the boss shares things outside working hours, and you are expected to reply. Otherwise, they will lecture everyone at a meeting. Sometimes, however, the things they share are from four or five years ago. I genuinely do not understand why people insist on living in the past.

Because of the pandemic, employees were split into groups for working from home, and everyone had to upload a daily work log (because the boss believed you were sleeping at home).

If the work log was too short, they would say you were slacking off; if it was too long, they would say you were exaggerating your workload. There was absolutely no consistent standard.

They decided on their own that the pandemic had eased, and, when the alert level was raised to Level 3, everyone had to return to the office and the split-work arrangement was canceled.

The office air conditioning is set very high to save energy, and everyone works in masks. It is a wonder no one suffocates.

5. Coworkers

Some of the senior managers who have been there for a long time are actually quite useless—the typical entrenched old-timers. Anyone who can really get things done cannot stay there.

All you need to learn there is how to flatter the boss; you do not need to take your work too seriously. Just listen to whatever the boss says, and preferably do not have any thoughts or suggestions, because the boss’s thinking is still stuck in the Cretaceous period.

Of course, there are still some easygoing and clear-headed colleagues who were lured in by the annual salary, but believe me, they probably will not stay for long either.

That is all. I sincerely want to apologize to all the people who came before me. I was wrong; I should have trusted your work experience and stayed far away.

But I did gain something from the experience: I met several short-term work partners. Without working alongside them, I probably would have wanted to commit ritual suicide on the spot.

If you happen to see my advice, please trust me completely: there are many more good companies waiting for you out there. Do not foolishly step into hell.

High annual salary? Forget it—it’s all earned by sacrificing your health and working yourself to the bone..

Cons

I could talk for three days and still not finish. If you come here thinking it will be a challenge for yourself, think twice! The high annual salary is actually all exchanged for overtime hours.

The responsibility system is extremely demanding: capable people do more, while idle people enjoy themselves... On the day you collapse from illness, the person above you will only see your work results. After joining, remember to keep records of your overtime every day.

There is no compensatory leave for overtime, not even a dinner. During working hours, you may need to hand out flyers in the wind, rain, and sun. They are always gambling that no one will dare report them. The second-generation heir acts like an underground commander, while those above turn a blind eye; as a result, everyone else is worked to death. As if that weren’t enough, you may also be fined after being disciplined. You may even be required to pay out of your own pocket for work-related matters, simply because supervisors go back on their word and keep changing orders. They will also force you to exercise and require you to submit proof of exercise... It shows how little they trust their own employees. Ninety percent of colleagues shift responsibility to one another, solely to avoid being disciplined by the person at the very top. The entire workplace atmosphere is unbearably bad. Nine out of ten supervisors have little ability, and hypocrisy is everywhere. Your physical and mental health will suffer considerably. Think twice. For those who really intend to come for an interview, I can’t even bring myself to say “good luck.” Blessings...

Pros

I previously worked at SKEWELL Co., Ltd., assigned to the Mitsui Department Store counter. During my employment, I learned how department store counters operate and enhanced my customer communication and on-site crisis management skills. Most of my colleagues were friendly and willing to help one another, which was beneficial to my frontline sales experience and customer service abilities. Department store channels offer diverse resources and help employees understand consumer market trends.

Cons

On July 31, 2024, the company issued an internal announcement without conducting sufficient verification, publicly accusing an employee of violating the law and causing significant reputational damage and psychological stress.

After a detailed investigation by the Shilin District Prosecutors Office, the case was ultimately closed with a decision not to prosecute, demonstrating that I was completely innocent. This incident reflects that the company’s management system still has significant room for improvement in information verification, announcement procedures, and the protection of labor rights. I recommend that the company strengthen internal communication, conduct thorough investigations, and improve its announcement procedures in the future to avoid causing unnecessary harm to employees due to procedural deficiencies.

Official announcements, court documents, and medical certificates are all available to substantiate the facts. This account states only the facts; verification is welcome.

Shoes are cheap to buy~ You need to get another shoe cabinet at home

You can wear Skechers clothing and shoes to work; there’s no need to dress formally

There’s no difference between work and getting off work, nor between having a day off and not having one

Cons

Everything is very frugal, the work is never finished, and there are tons of weird people

Dragon Boat Festival: 1–2 months’ salary

Mid-Autumn Festival: 1–2 months’ salary

Year-end: 2–4 months’ salary

Department store staff and office personnel receive the same bonuses. However, the calculation is not based on your full salary; it should be calculated based on your insured salary.

New shoe styles can be purchased at 80% of the original price; old styles are 40% off.

Cons

For everyone’s reference, here is an overview of the company’s turnover rate by department:

1. Marketing Department

2. Sales Department

3. Product Department and Administration Department

4. Direct Operations Department

The company operates under a high-pressure management style, so think carefully before applying. You will understand once you join.

The company operates under a responsibility-based system. It is recommended that people without friends, family, or a girlfriend apply for jobs here.

Everyone in the company has a heavy workload and handles multiple roles. If you have submitted an application, the reviewers may also be too busy to look at your résumé, so don’t be discouraged. If you still want to apply after reading this, it is a matter of one party being willing to fight and the other being willing to take it. The company’s turnover rate is already quite high. If you want your résumé to look good in the future, go ahead and apply.

The company likes hiring women: 80% women and 20% men. If a task is difficult and unrewarding, men are more likely to be called upon to handle moving goods.

P.S. “168” below refers to the general manager. If you actually get hired, you’ll understand once you join, haha.

1. Interview process

For department store positions, there is only one interview, conducted by the supervisor responsible for that area.

Office positions require two interviews. In the first, if the department manager thinks you are suitable, they will submit your application to 168 for a second interview. The key is the second interview, where your hiring depends on 168’s mood that day. If she finds any reason to consider you unsuitable, you will not be hired. If 168 thinks you are suitable and decides to hire you, she will discuss the salary with you. She will say that the company’s three seasonal bonuses are very high, then cut your salary, so the salary will be lower than elsewhere. The decision is up to you.

The Labor Standards Act does not require these three seasonal bonuses to be paid. Think carefully. They are generally paid, although payment is sometimes delayed. Also, as a reminder, the calculation is not based on your full salary; it should be based on your insured salary.

P.S. Don’t worry about the basic interview test—it is a routine test. If you apply for a position requiring English, they will review your English test. If you feel hot during the interview, it is because company policy says the air conditioning is only turned on when the indoor temperature reaches 28°C; otherwise, only the fan is used. Please try to remain cheerful during the interview =.=.

One more thing: if they give you a cup during the interview, avoid drinking from it if possible. Some people in each department have poor habits: after using a cup, they merely rinse it in the pantry and put it back without washing it.......

Store staff are paid through a combination of base salary and commission. Taking leave on major holidays is prohibited. You must follow the supervisor’s schedule or provide staffing support elsewhere. If the supervisor does not like you, you may be assigned to a store with poor business, reducing your commission income.

2. Company culture

If you are selected and decide to join the company, on your first day...... they will show you what they want you to see. However,

the company has no regulations. It only shows you previous announcements. If something is repeated or the rules have changed, you have to verify for yourself which announcement is currently correct...... from the 90s of the ROC calendar to the present.......

Many things are kept secret. Those who obediently follow instructions and simply complete their own duties will receive bonuses in their accounts when the time comes. The company will not tell you how much is being paid; you have to calculate it yourself.

3. Work culture

Whenever 168 thinks of something, she immediately sends LINE messages—on holidays, while abroad, or even in the middle of the night—to the relevant department group. If no one replies, the department manager will call the person concerned and demand a response.

Documents submitted to 168 for approval depend on her mood that day. If she is in a bad mood, almost anything submitted will be nitpicked or criticized..... You have to anticipate every question 168 might ask and prepare answers to handle and defuse them....

There are no formal rules for official documents; everything depends on what 168 says. Something she said a week earlier, or a document or budget she approved, can be rejected immediately this week, meaning all the work done that week has to be redone from scratch.

When the budget is limited and something needs to be purchased, the company may ask whether any colleague knows someone willing to lend it to the company. The company does not want to spend money and only wants to use the item for a particular event, press conference, sale, and so on. Otherwise, it may ask whether anyone knows a vendor willing to take on the job at a low cost. My advice is not to ruin your own reputation by using your personal connections. Stay at this company long enough and you will understand.

If you make a mistake and hear 168 say that you should discipline yourself, submit a disciplinary action against yourself. At this company, all I have seen are disciplinary actions; I have never seen anyone receive positive recognition. There are no formal rules for the reasons—everything depends on what 168 says.

Many things at the company are kept secret and are only announced at the last minute. Relevant personnel then have to put aside their regular daily work to complete the assignment, such as a sale, road-running event, trade show at the World Trade Center, and so on. Every department must immediately complete these temporary assignments. The company likes to assign tasks with just enough time to avoid mistakes. If there is a problem, you have to find a way to solve it. If money is involved, it becomes very difficult to handle. For these events, every department must also send staff in shifts to provide support on both weekdays and weekends.

Many pieces of equipment are more than 10 years old, but the company is reluctant to dispose of them. Some employees who cannot tolerate this end up buying their own monitors, chairs, mice, and keyboards.

168 says that, as a sports brand, the company should promote sports and road running. Once you join, you will see that it is effectively compulsory: people are called out in the group. Even employees with families or heavy workloads are expected to participate in road races. The rules keep changing. If you receive a watch as a reward and do not run next time, you may be accused of tricking the company into giving you the watch. Think carefully—once you run one time, it will never end.

Company policy says the air conditioning can only be turned on when the indoor temperature reaches 28°C. Normally, only the fan is used, so you will see everyone bringing a small electric fan to place under their feet and blow air at themselves..... Is this really saving electricity?

During the anniversary sale, staff must provide support north of Zhongli according to a shift schedule.

Be sure to double-check your work repeatedly. The company will not pay out of its own pocket; employees pay instead. If you make a mistake, you have to compensate the company—for example, errors in commissioned work, or additional event expenses incurred without 168’s approval, which you must absorb yourself. If shoes go missing during a sale event, the department in charge has to pay for them.

Once you join, you will see many strange incidents. My advice, based on everything above: if you want a better-looking résumé and a little more money, go ahead. Just remember that you may be mistreated and sometimes verbally bullied, and may be called a “salary thief,” among other things.

Pros

No, not really. I can't remember anything at all.

Cons

Let's cut to the chase: Don't go, under any circumstances.

This is all something I dreamed about, so just take it as a reference.

Some employees in a certain department are extremely close in private,

so close that they seem to be in a romantic relationship.

Of course, if they're both unmarried, there's nothing wrong with that.

However, because there is an ambiguous relationship, this kind of behavior affects other people's work.

In addition, someone in a managerial position in this department will team up with senior executives to bully department employees.

So it's still best not to go.

Pros

The third-largest sports brand (behind Nike and adidas)

Cons

1. The salary agreed upon during the interview is reduced by at least NT$5,000. The interviewing manager will try to fob you off with bonuses paid on the three major holidays! In reality, the overtime pay alone that should be provided already exceeds those three-holiday bonuses! However, this is a completely all-inclusive salary system, with no compensatory leave or overtime pay, violating the Labor Standards Act!

2. The managers of each department only shirk responsibility. The managers’ meeting on Mondays is simply a meeting where they undermine one another, creating an extremely poor workplace atmosphere!

There are no SOPs for work processes; everything depends entirely on the general manager’s mood. They do whatever comes to mind, and often rush things through at the last minute.

3. Despite having no budget, they complain all day that things are inferior to competitors. They have absolutely no understanding of production costs. A little research will reveal that the company’s quoted prices for partner manufacturers are practically bloodbath prices! It has long been a well-known blacklist name in the industry, yet employees are still expected to use their personal connections to find resources. Don’t sell out your network.

4. Office staff are required to support anniversary sales events by handing out flyers during department-store hours until closing, and to work at year-end clearance sales until 8:30 p.m. There is no compensatory leave—absolutely ridiculous! During working hours, they also have to take shifts traveling to the Taichung central warehouse to ship goods. Travel time is not included: they leave Taipei by car at 6 a.m., arrive at the Taichung central warehouse at 9 a.m., start packing goods, and cannot get off work until 6 p.m. By the time they return to Taipei, it is already after 10 p.m.! Employees are also required to drive their own cars, and applying for reimbursement of fuel costs is subject to all kinds of unreasonable obstacles.

5. The general manager’s idea of a good employee is someone who works overtime. As a result, you can see many people who clearly have nothing to do but do not dare leave work, waiting until the general manager leaves before clocking out—a ridiculous sight.

6. Employees are forced to exercise and upload proof to the company group chat. Those who fail to meet the target are even called out by name, causing some people to fabricate records. It is a pointless activity.

7. There are people who steal their salaries; those thick-skinned enough can shamelessly stay on. Having three nominal managers in one marketing department is truly unheard of. If a manager takes a dislike to you, they will target you and use all kinds of petty tactics to force you out.

8. Taking sick leave is made difficult.

Pros

None. Absolutely none.

Cons

The boss will bother you and assign you work on holidays. The implication is that you still have to work on your days off.

Very stingy and unable to manage. He arrogantly says that you are on a responsibility-based system and must finish the work.

Makes many unreasonable demands.

Pros

The benefits are okay

A major brand

Cons

Sometimes you even have to pay out of pocket for work to proceed smoothly, and occasionally you may end up losing money.

1. It is difficult for the departments to cooperate properly. Because they are afraid of being held responsible, their first reaction when something happens is to shift the blame.

2. Colleagues generally get along reasonably well, but relationships tend to be superficial. People who dislike flattering others may find it more difficult to get things done.

3. People often request high-specification product exposure, but provide no budget.

4. Company policy prohibits using messaging software at work to discuss work-related matters; communication and announcements can only be handled by email.

5. If you request additional hardware or software equipment to improve work efficiency and convenience, the matter will likely end without resolution. You may even be criticized, and the result will be that you get nothing—while still having to find resources on your own.

6. (This is the most mentally and physically exhausting part.) There is no such thing as an SOP for handling work. Every day is spent dealing with urgent incidents caused by certain people or situations, so work schedules can never proceed smoothly. In the end, you can only work overtime to handle your actual responsibilities.

7. There are quite a lot of people who put on an act and make a show of things, which makes it difficult to simply do your job properly.

8. Regardless of who you are, everyone has to support every company-organized event, even if it has nothing to do with your actual work. Even when an event takes place on a holiday, you must overcome all obstacles to attend. Sometimes you are notified at the last minute, but you still cannot skip it because of social pressure.

10. A completely duty-based system with no limits on responsibility or working hours.

11. Whether the work in your hands can proceed smoothly depends entirely on luck, because some people will reject things simply because they are in a bad mood.

12. Some teammates are basically just riding along without contributing.

Pros

The office environment is pretty good.

Cons

The parent company is in Taichung.

So the general manager happens to be far from the emperor’s reach, with no one to keep her in check.

She acts like an absolute ruler, thinking she is Empress Wu.

She not only changes policies from one day to the next and says one thing but means another, but is also very emotional.

The internal turnover rate is very high.

Because they are afraid of being fined for violating the law, they ask employees to cooperate. For example, counter staff are not allowed to clock in on their seventh consecutive day of work.

The company was investigated by the Labor Bureau long ago, but because it apparently covered things up well, it seems not to have been fined.

In short, it is extremely common for people to resign before working there for a year.

So don’t believe whatever high salary package they offer during the interview.

Because if you don’t stay for a full year, you won’t receive those “bonuses” anyway.

Pros

Only the company name has a strong reputation.

The year-end bonus can be generous.

Cons

1. The head office is extremely inefficient internally.

2. Work arrangements are very chaotic, with no comprehensive SOP. When assigning tasks to others, instructions are not given completely, making it difficult to plan future work schedules.

3. People there are very scheming. Unless you are willing to be someone who flatters others, working at this company will be very difficult.

When it is time to leave work, everyone usually pretends to be busy even when there is nothing to do. I really do not understand this culture.

4. It has a very poor reputation in the industry.

The supervisor surnamed Chuang in Taichung is absolutely outrageous.

They called me several times on LINE outside of working hours.

I was riding to work and didn't answer.

When I had just arrived at the counter, the morning-shift staff said the supervisor was looking for me.

I called back using the company phone, and as soon as they answered, they flew into a rage, asking why I hadn't answered and saying I was hard to reach.

What the hell—why am I required to answer the company phone outside of working hours?

And what gives our building manager the right to interfere in our company's affairs?

They called us in for a meeting to question why our sales were poor,

asked us whether we were not being proactive,

and told us to watch ourselves.

Sales are poor because hardly any customers come to our floor to shop.

Is that the counter staff's problem?

Your department store should be examining why there is no foot traffic.

Instead, they went to the supervisor and told them that we weren't working proactively,

which caused our sales performance to become even worse.

It's these kinds of petty people who drive a wedge between others.

The supervisor visits our counter less than once a month,

yet also believes what this petty building manager says

and berates us wildly without distinguishing right from wrong.

They even find excuses to make things difficult for us,

telling us to resign voluntarily.

The company won't pay severance,

nor will it provide a certificate of involuntary resignation.

This supervisor is truly outrageous.

Also,

every month when we return to the company for a meeting,

our general manager,

believing that sales of one of the company's products are unsatisfactory,

asks us why we don't support our own products more.

For example:

we can buy sportswear to wear to work.

When customers see that it looks good, they'll want to buy it.

WTF.

Do you think we make a lot of money?

And we still have to buy sportswear costing 1,000–5,000 each.

A complete outfit (top/pants/socks/shoes/jacket/base-layer compression shorts...etc.)

do you know how much that costs?

And we have to rotate what we wear.

And they still have the nerve to ask: "Why don't our own employees show a little support?"

Is the general manager some kind of privileged elitist?
