I was employed by Sikwell Co., Ltd., working at the Mitsukoshi department store counter. During my time there, I learned how department store counters operate and improved my customer communication and on-site crisis management skills. Most of my colleagues were friendly and willing to help one another, which was beneficial for gaining frontline sales experience and developing customer service skills. Department store channels offer diverse resources and help employees understand consumer market trends.
On July 31, 2024, the company issued an internal announcement without conducting sufficient verification, publicly accusing an employee of breaking the law and causing significant reputational damage and emotional distress.
After a detailed investigation by the Shilin District Prosecutors Office, the case was ultimately closed with a decision not to prosecute, proving that I was completely innocent. This incident reflects that the company's management system still has significant room for improvement in information verification, announcement procedures, and the protection of labor rights. It is recommended that the company strengthen internal communication, conduct thorough investigations, and improve its announcement system in the future to avoid causing unnecessary harm to employees due to procedural deficiencies.
Announcements, court documents, and medical certificates are all available to support these statements. This account states only the facts; verification is welcome.
