I previously worked at Skwell Co., Ltd., stationed at a Mitsui Department Store counter. During my employment, I learned the operating procedures of department store counters and improved my customer communication and on-site crisis management skills. Most of my colleagues were friendly and willing to help one another, which was beneficial to my frontline sales experience and customer service abilities. Department store channels offer diverse resources and help employees understand consumer market trends.
On July 31, 2024, the company issued an internal announcement without conducting sufficient verification, publicly accusing an employee of breaking the law and causing significant reputational damage and psychological distress.
After a detailed investigation by the Shilin District Prosecutors Office, the case was ultimately closed with a non-prosecution decision, demonstrating that I was completely innocent. This reflects that the company’s management system still has significant room for improvement in information verification, announcement procedures, and the protection of labor rights. It is recommended that the company strengthen internal communication, conduct rigorous investigations, and improve its announcement system in the future to avoid causing unnecessary harm to employees due to procedural deficiencies.
Announcements, court documents, and medical certificates are all available to support these statements. Only facts are being presented, and verification is welcome.
