The office environment is pretty good.
The parent company is in Taichung.
So the general manager happens to be far from the emperor’s reach, with no one to keep her in check.
She acts like an absolute ruler, thinking she is Empress Wu.
She not only changes policies from one day to the next and says one thing but means another, but is also very emotional.
The internal turnover rate is very high.
Because they are afraid of being fined for violating the law, they ask employees to cooperate. For example, counter staff are not allowed to clock in on their seventh consecutive day of work.
The company was investigated by the Labor Bureau long ago, but because it apparently covered things up well, it seems not to have been fined.
In short, it is extremely common for people to resign before working there for a year.
So don’t believe whatever high salary package they offer during the interview.
Because if you don’t stay for a full year, you won’t receive those “bonuses” anyway.
