I was employed by S'well Co., Ltd., working at the Mitsukoshi department store counter. During my tenure, I learned the operating procedures of a department store counter and enhanced my customer communication and on-site crisis management skills. Most of my colleagues were friendly and willing to help one another, which was beneficial to my frontline sales experience and customer service skills. Department store channels offer diverse resources and help provide insight into consumer market trends.
On July 31, 2024, the company issued an internal announcement without conducting sufficient verification, publicly accusing an employee of violating the law and causing significant reputational damage and psychological distress.
After a detailed investigation by the Shilin District Prosecutors Office, the case was ultimately closed with a decision not to prosecute, demonstrating that I was completely innocent. This reflects that the company's management system still has significant room for improvement in information verification, announcement procedures, and the protection of workers' rights. I recommend that the company strengthen internal communication, conduct rigorous investigations, and improve its announcement system in the future to avoid causing unnecessary harm to employees due to procedural deficiencies.
The entire matter is supported by announcements, court documents, and medical certificates. I have stated only the facts, which are welcome to be verified.
