Pros

1. Ten instances of forgetting to clock in or out per month (not sure whether this is still available as of 2025/10; being late without anyone noticing also counts)

2. Sturdy desks

3. Plenty of food options

Cons

I have already left the company. My position was FAE Engineer, and four people from the same department resigned at the same time.

1. One of the business responsibilities (repairing POS checkout machines) was added later. During a meeting, a manager said that, after discussing it with a senior department head, they had decided to award repair bonuses based on the condition of the equipment. I received one in the first round, and just before I left, it happened to be the settlement period for the second round. Unexpectedly, when I asked my supervisor, I was told it would not be paid because it was “not a salary, but merely an incentive bonus.” I subsequently also emailed the Ministry of Labor to file a complaint, and the people from the company told the Ministry of Labor that it was a “quarterly bonus” 🤣. They also said things such as “subordinates do not acknowledge him as their supervisor” in the LINE group merely because an employee repaired equipment outside the office (the non-office area had been proactively opened to employees by the supervisor because the desks were too small).

2. A manager privately called male and female colleagues in the department in for questioning merely because they ate lunch together, and also insinuated some “inappropriate things” during meetings and in the LINE group.

3. A manager spoke very nicely while employees were still working there, saying that they could come to him with anything, but after they left, he badmouthed them to supervisors in other departments.

4. The department director completely ignored the projects handled by subordinates and had only a superficial understanding of them. One colleague created a process flowchart (from receiving a customer repair request, checking the inventory of parts, carrying out the repair on-site, to closing the case), but the department director failed to do everything that was supposed to be his responsibility.

5. The department director has bad habits and was even photographed by a customer.

6. I heard that a senior department head has been ingratiating himself with the chairman and even arranged for a colleague he disliked to be pushed out.

All of the above (except item six; there are, of course, many other things I have not mentioned) were emailed to the chairman and the executive vice president after I left, but the only response from the chairman was that an investigation would be conducted. There was no follow-up, and the head of HR also replied that they were willing to arrange a time to sit down and talk things over properly 🤣

Pros

There is a department store downstairs

The atmosphere is quite relaxed, like at a startup

The office environment is clean

A cleaning lady comes to clean the office building every day

Each department has a budget for group meals every quarter

The company provides free snacks

Cons

Many departments have very high turnover

Those who stay have to handle many tasks at the same time

The location may be very inconvenient, so few people apply for jobs

Those who remain end up working themselves to death

Although the company sells systems, its internal training is very inadequate

It is a good fit if you want to work yourself to the bone

Pros

The disadvantages outweigh the advantages

The environment is poor

There is a probationary period

Employees who have worked for less than a year do not receive a prorated year-end bonus

Employees who have worked for less than a year are not eligible for the awards in company activities

Cons

The system is poorly structured; interviewers make grand promises, and internal supervisors make grand promises as well. Supervisors take all the credit.

The boss says it is about promoting talent, but the truth is that one person simply takes on several additional duties, and the company does not give you any additional salary.

They say it is a group, but in reality it is just one company operating under a fake group structure, with the others all being branch companies.

Group—Tengyun Technology

Tengchuang Data Analytics Branch A

Tengjia Digital Branch B

Tengdi Branch C

Benefits are handled separately by each entity, and some do not even provide benefits. They simply treat employees like leeks to be repeatedly harvested.

Pros

The first interview was no different from interviews at other companies. Everything seemed normal, and they explained the job responsibilities and the company’s main products in detail. On the surface, everything appeared perfectly normal.

Cons

The week after the first interview, I received a job offer notification from the manager. It initially provided the salary information and asked about my start date. After I replied to the manager’s email the next day, I heard nothing further and waited for nearly a month…

Later, I proactively contacted HR and the manager, after which we arranged another interview. I also asked HR, who confirmed that only an offer email issued by HR would serve as official confirmation. During the subsequent interview, the manager apologized and explained that they had been traveling on business during this period and had been unable to process my information in time (so that it could be submitted to HR for review). After the second interview, we again agreed on a start date. Then, within the week before my start date, I received an email requesting additional employee-related information, which I completed and returned by email. After that, I was stood up for the second time and still did not receive an offer email from HR.

Conclusion: I would like to remind all job seekers that this company’s internal procedures are problematic. Don’t waste your time interviewing with this company—it may all end up being for nothing.

Before the supervisor whose name starts with I took over, it was a good department at a good company

Cons

Ever since the good supervisor was forced out and replaced by this supervisor whose name starts with I, everything has changed.

He spends all day clinging to the boss’s favor, and any problems are blamed on the people below.

Any achievements are credited to his excellent guidance, even though he clearly knows nothing.

His most classic quote is: “I have a lot of things to deal with every day. I don’t have time to read the emails you send me one by one.”

You don’t read the emails yourself, then complain that we didn’t report our work progress, and afterward sneer, “If you’re unhappy, then don’t do it.”

The boss really needs to open your eyes. There are several bugs underneath you constantly gnawing at your thigh. You’re almost unable to walk—do you know that?

I’ve been here for a year and a half, and every month the number of people leaving is greater than the number of new hires.

Pros

The office is in IFG Farglory. The outside is clean and beautiful.

Those are the only advantages.

Cons

There is no comprehensive training.

Policies are frequently changed without notice.

There are many parasites in the company who only know how to curry favor.

Whenever something goes wrong, it is always the new employee's fault,

never the senior employees' fault.

Any benefits are never given to newcomers.

There is no visible future for promotion or salary increases.

If you perform too well, you may even be sabotaged.

There are many people who cannot stand seeing others do well.

The managers are mostly parachuted in, and the turnover rate is also very high.

Some managers do not even know what frontline employees are doing.

They only listen to unscrupulous subordinates when making decisions, and even the reports are falsified.

They only cover up problems instead of solving them.

When problems arise, the senior employees are completely clueless.

If you ask too many questions, they may give you attitude; their tempers are extremely bad.

In her eyes, everyone in the world is an idiot except her.

Many contact channels are unclear.

Information updates are not synchronized either.

A technology company that is not technological in the slightest.

The hiring speed cannot keep up with the resignation speed.

Pros

There’s nothing to improve—it’s beyond saving.

Cons

What is this Tengchuang Data Analytics thing, and now they’re even issuing gag orders? This is really something.

There aren’t any clear goals at all. What digital transformation, what corporate transformation? Could you please just do your job properly? Stop washing reviews everywhere, inflating the salary, and dressing up the job description when, in reality, it’s complete garbage!

Pros

The desk is very sturdy

Cons

Speaking of your subsidiary, Tengchuang Data Analytics:

It claims to be a happy enterprise, but the benefits it provides are becoming fewer and fewer, and the benefit allowance keeps being reduced.

Supervisors may yell at employees and slam their desks. They urgently need psychiatric treatment, make things difficult over trivial matters, and employees are dismissed from time to time. They are also required to write resignation letters stating that they are leaving voluntarily.

After experiencing this several times, I grew a lot and learned some skills. This is not a comfort zone, nor is it within the scope of learning and growth. Questions are met with all kinds of evasive answers, technical capabilities are insufficient, and traces of various problems still cannot be eliminated to this day.

It is currently just before the peak resignation season. Please make a decisive choice and interview with another company for greater safety, so you do not become the replacement in July.

Looks bright on the outside

Cons

I’m curious, so I wanted to ask about your subsidiary, Tengchuang Data Analytics. Are current employees treated as if they were disposable?

There is no overtime pay, yet we work overtime every day. You cannot say anything negative about the company, and benefits may be canceled depending on operating conditions.

The company website is entirely promotional. None of the industries or work content described actually exists, and there is not even a single client.

But the supervisor is simply beyond speech. In any case, all the programs are patched together with hard-coded values, with no architectural or long-term planning. I cannot see any plan for the next five to ten years.

They asked a series of highly unprofessional and abstract questions—for example, confusing WebSocket with Vue. Testing and the environment were ignored; in the end, someone else had to resolve all the workarounds and technical debt.

Later, they did something even more outrageous: they hired a completely inexplicable engineer. With inexperienced people managing things in a chaotic mess, everything became a complete disaster.

Now they are frantically recruiting newcomers as disposable chopsticks, and the company does not care whether you can survive.

If you see this review and think twice about applying for the job, I can only say congratulations—there are other, better jobs waiting for you.

Pros

The office is located above the Farglory IFG department store, but the office environment is average.

Cons

1. There are many and varied outsourced projects, some of which are projects that were subcontracted out and then taken back. The requirements are vague, with no clear documentation, and there are many issues with project execution and cross-team collaboration management.

2. Employees must provide their own equipment.

3. Overtime is routine.

Applied position: Android Mobile Application Developer (Kaohsiung)

Work location: Cianjin District, Kaohsiung

Cons

Before the interview, there is a written test, divided into a logic test and a professional test (Android). There are quite a lot of questions, and about an hour and a half is provided. You will only have an interview after passing the written test.

The logic test is generally as follows:

I. Find the next number or letter according to the sequence logic.

20 18 16 14 12 ?

II. Every table has glasses, and every pair of glasses has legs, so every table has legs.

a) True

b) False

III. The following are the premises:

“Some trains are steam trains.”

“Some steam trains are heading south.”

“Only steam trains heading south have conductors.”

Which of the following conclusions is correct?

a) All steam trains with conductors are trains.

b) Some steam trains are not heading south.

c) Not all trains have conductors.

d) Steam trains that are not heading south do not have conductors.

e) Trains are steam trains heading south.

---

As for the professional questions, they are generally similar to those found in common industry tests. The more specialized part is that there may be questions about the platform architecture:

https://developer.android.com/guide/platform

---

The interview questions are also largely similar, generally including:

1. Please introduce yourself.

2. Why do you want to join our company?

3. Do you understand what our company does?

4. What was the most memorable thing you encountered in your previous work, and how did you handle it?

---

I hope the information above can help anyone who needs it.

Pros

I feel that the salary and workload are well balanced. Some departments work overtime very often.

The top boss is friendly to the little cogs, but will harshly scold managers, which is somewhat awkward. Sometimes they are too much of a people-pleaser and agree to unreasonable client requests.

The company is taking off rapidly. Projects are pouring in.

Cons

There is a divide between the old and new factions. The old RSL group is very united and somewhat exclusionary. The new group is severely understaffed.

New projects keep coming in, but equipment cannot keep up. After people are pulled up to become managers, the failure rate is very high. Of approximately 150 employees, around 30 positions are constantly turning over (people do not last three months).

Pros

Flexible working arrangements, a great environment, and very harmonious relationships among colleagues

Cons

1. Equipment must be provided by the employee.

2. Focuses on back-end service applications, while the development process lacks proper planning and execution.

3. Apart from the company’s own back-end services, everything else is primarily outsourced. If a new hire’s role involves taking over an outsourced project, it is recommended to consider the position carefully.

Flexible work arrangements, a very good work environment, and harmonious relationships among colleagues

After the probationary period, there is a computer allowance of NT$25,000 over three years

Cons

The company does not provide computers (you need to bring your own)

If you are a newcomer who wants to learn, this may not be suitable, as the company needs people who can contribute immediately

There is no training for new employees

Pros

No need to clock in or out. The frequency of overtime depends on the department, but there is no overtime pay (because there is no clocking-in system). However, you can take compensatory time off.

The company atmosphere is good, and everyone is nice and easy to get along with.

The company does not provide computers. You need to prepare your own laptop for work (but you can receive a subsidy of approximately NT$25,000, paid over three years).

However, if the manager for the position you are applying for has a name starting with R, you must be willing to take on any task and be skilled at cleaning up messes.
