Pros

1. Ten instances of forgetting to clock in or out per month (not sure whether this is still available as of 2025/10; being late without anyone noticing also counts)

2. Sturdy desks

3. Plenty of food options

Cons

I have already left the company. My position was FAE Engineer, and four people from the same department resigned at the same time.

1. One of the business responsibilities (repairing POS checkout machines) was added later. During a meeting, a manager said that, after discussing it with a senior department head, they had decided to award repair bonuses based on the condition of the equipment. I received one in the first round, and just before I left, it happened to be the settlement period for the second round. Unexpectedly, when I asked my supervisor, I was told it would not be paid because it was “not a salary, but merely an incentive bonus.” I subsequently also emailed the Ministry of Labor to file a complaint, and the people from the company told the Ministry of Labor that it was a “quarterly bonus” 🤣. They also said things such as “subordinates do not acknowledge him as their supervisor” in the LINE group merely because an employee repaired equipment outside the office (the non-office area had been proactively opened to employees by the supervisor because the desks were too small).

2. A manager privately called male and female colleagues in the department in for questioning merely because they ate lunch together, and also insinuated some “inappropriate things” during meetings and in the LINE group.

3. A manager spoke very nicely while employees were still working there, saying that they could come to him with anything, but after they left, he badmouthed them to supervisors in other departments.

4. The department director completely ignored the projects handled by subordinates and had only a superficial understanding of them. One colleague created a process flowchart (from receiving a customer repair request, checking the inventory of parts, carrying out the repair on-site, to closing the case), but the department director failed to do everything that was supposed to be his responsibility.

5. The department director has bad habits and was even photographed by a customer.

6. I heard that a senior department head has been ingratiating himself with the chairman and even arranged for a colleague he disliked to be pushed out.

All of the above (except item six; there are, of course, many other things I have not mentioned) were emailed to the chairman and the executive vice president after I left, but the only response from the chairman was that an investigation would be conducted. There was no follow-up, and the head of HR also replied that they were willing to arrange a time to sit down and talk things over properly 🤣
