Pros

Everyone at the company is very easy to get along with, and people help one another. Any questions can be answered. I felt the company’s warmth right from the moment I joined. There are activities during the Lunar New Year and other holidays, and the rewards are good too. I can discuss any ideas with my supervisor, who also offers appropriate suggestions and approaches. I’ve learned a lot~

Cons

There are many skills to learn (does that count as a drawback? 🤣), and I’m still working hard to keep up. People who aren’t able to accept learning new things may find it somewhat difficult to adapt.

Pros

From the interview onward, I felt that the company places great importance on employee training and benefits. The rules and policies are quite clear, and after joining, the arrangements were as described during the interview. Excellent.

Cons

There is a broad range of learning opportunities. People who are willing to learn and take on challenges will be very happy here, but those who want to coast and earn easy money will be very unhappy.

1. The benefits are fantastic—probably the best among all the jobs I’ve had! There are three holiday bonuses, a benefits allowance, and occasional activities and staff dinners 😆

2. High sales bonuses—highly recommended for those of you who want to challenge yourselves and earn a high salary!!

3. The atmosphere among colleagues is harmonious, and everyone is happy to help when needed 😚

Cons

So far, everything’s fine~Overall, I’m very satisfied!

Pros

I am an employee who returned to the company after a three-year absence. Why did I choose to come back?

1. Colleagues are easy to get along with and will help whenever there are problems. (A plus for my impression of the company)

2. Many systems have changed. You can express ideas, make proposals, discuss them, and put them into practice. (A sense of achievement)

3. Things do not remain unchanged, and you also need to continue learning new things. (Keeping up with the times)

Cons

Every company is bound to have shortcomings, but in fact, how they are viewed depends entirely on the individual. Some people may see something as a shortcoming, while others may not, so I think writing about shortcomings directly is very one-sided. Before joining, the company also explains the salary, work environment, working hours, and job duties, and you can decide whether to accept them before coming aboard. If you cannot accept them, that is fine too. Therefore, there is no absolute good or absolute bad; the above is provided for reference.

Pros

If you get assigned to a good branch, some colleagues are quite nice.

Cons

I worked there several years ago, and the experience was unprecedentedly bad. All the resources went to the veterans, making it very difficult for newcomers to meet their targets. More than a dozen new hires joined at the same time, and all of them left within three months. Even the one who stayed the longest did not work there for more than a year. The working hours exceeded the scheduled hours. Blacklist, blacklist.

None.

Cons

Regarding the online English business: The materials used for interviews are supposedly on popular topics, but they contain extremely obvious typos. I cannot understand why no one noticed them. I strongly advise against applying for positions related to this business, as achieving results will likely be very difficult.

Seems like there aren't any.

Cons

HR contacted me directly to invite me to an interview, but when I got there, they told me there was a shift-work requirement. I had clearly said on the phone that I might not be able to accommodate shift work, yet they still asked me to come in for an interview. During the interview, everyone was interviewed together, and they asked some fairly personal questions. I really don't want to share my career plans with people other than the interviewer, okay? When they heard that I was studying in the evenings, their eyes lit up and they kept asking where I studied and how much it cost. What does that have to do with the interview I came for today? They said that we could ask any questions, but when I actually asked, they just said that this was how the company had always done things. What's the difference between saying that and not saying anything at all? If you're hiring for a sales position, just say it's a sales position. Why list the opening as front-desk administration as well? Isn't that misleading job seekers? When the topic of shift work came up, they kept saying that I should probably leave first because the hours wouldn't work. Didn't that just make me waste a trip? Did they actually communicate properly with HR or not? An interviewer shouldn't only know how to meet sales targets—how about showing the courtesy and professional attitude that should be expected?

The headquarters is conveniently located, next to an MRT station.

The headquarters has a young and energetic work environment.

Typhoon days off are paid at the headquarters.

The work environment is an open-plan space (is that considered an advantage...)

The daily working hours at the headquarters are 7.5 hours.

Cons

In the past, there were cases of underreporting high salaries for labor and health insurance! After joining, you need to pay attention to the insured unit and insured amount shown in the NHI Express app!

Quarterly evaluations; some departments conduct evaluations monthly!

They really like handing out rewards and punishments... names will be announced publicly.

Employees are required to clean the environment and collect the trash from the offices on their floor! Why not hire a cleaner?!

Year-end bonus: 0.8–1 month.

Pros

Applied for a retail sales position

Cons

There was no need to provide a résumé. They printed one from the job bank on-site and also provided a form to fill out:

1. Basic information: national ID number, place of birth, date of birth, marital status, blood type, address, etc. (I left some personal information blank.) Why exactly do they need my ID number and place of birth???

2. Family situation: family members’ names, ages, occupations, employers’ names, and whether they live with you. I left this section blank, and the interviewer did not ask about it.

3. Highest level of education

4. Work experience: “supervisor’s name and position, contact telephone number, salary.” I left these blank. Requirements like this are very off-putting and suggest that the company’s culture is not suitable for me.

Another thing that left a particularly strong impression was that they asked you to check:

Whether you can work rotating morning and evening shifts?

Whether your family agrees with and supports you working rotating shifts?

Whether you need to independently care for elderly family members or young children?

Whether you need to independently bear the household expenses?

Working hours are divided into morning and evening shifts. Neither the phone call nor the interview mentioned a middle shift.

Morning shift: 9 a.m.–6 p.m.

Evening shift: 2–10 p.m.

There is a one-hour break in between, but you have to order as a group or buy food to bring back; you cannot go out for an hour-long break.

There are 8–10 days off. The number of holidays marked in red on the calendar determines how many days are scheduled; you choose 4 days yourself, and the supervisor schedules the rest.

Typhoon days off are paid.

The three major holidays are days off (Lunar New Year, Dragon Boat Festival, and Mid-Autumn Festival). You work on minor holidays (such as February 28). If you are scheduled for a minor holiday, you work; minor holidays are morning-shift only.

The salary is NT$30,000, increasing to NT$32,000 after becoming a regular employee.

There is performance pressure: reaching at least NT$410,000 in monthly sales qualifies you for a NT$6,150 performance bonus.

You call students to invite them to an in-store explanation session. Put nicely, it is called helping them pursue their dreams; put less nicely, it is selling them an unrealistic vision, persuading them to want to learn, take courses, invest in themselves, and acquire the skills they need for a future career change.

Conclusion: If you want to practice your speaking skills, you can go.

Pros

Very enthusiastic and full of ideas, and hopes we can make money together (working overtime to earn more money is also acceptable, and they did say they would ask about our willingness first).

Cons

They notified me that I had been accepted and started assigning work over the phone before even sending the offer. They also never notified me of the agreed-upon time for the second interview, and only called two or three weeks after the scheduled time had passed.

After I told the supervisor that I had found another job, they still asked which company it was and when I would start. ???????

Pros

Don't be fooled by the other comments.

There are no advantages; they just want people to take out loans to come learn computers...

Cons

The nature of my previous job was somewhat sales-oriented to begin with.

Later, I switched to selling high-priced products.

I didn't expect the interviewer to ask me, “Is there any difference?”

“You still have to take out a loan to buy high-priced products.

The products at our company also require taking out a loan to buy.

Think about it: isn't someone who spends three or four thousand dollars a month investing in themselves, like an assembly-line worker, the same as someone who can afford to buy a house?”

I said that my friend was also weighed down so heavily by their mortgage that they could barely breathe.

I asked, “Would three or four thousand dollars really have that effect on someone?” But he told me that my mindset was wrong.

He compared me with jobs that were clearly different in nature.

He also said that what I learned at H** Computer was just superficial knowledge.

Later, he asked a bunch of very strange questions, asking about my personality and how I should change it.

“If you think it can be changed, then you try changing it yourself...” He also said that the company had very few negative reviews.

There are clearly a whole bunch of them....

The final question he asked was also hilarious. I seriously racked my brain and had no idea how to answer him.

“How would you execute the 14-day training course and meet the requirements?” He also said, “I don't want to hear the words ‘work hard.’”

I really wanted to ask him in return, “Then what? Am I supposed to meet the requirements by sleeping at home?”

I had no choice but to make up some reason and bluff my way through it. In short, this was the worst interview experience I've ever had.

Pros

1. Although it is a retail sales position, you can take time off during the Lunar New Year, Dragon Boat Festival, and Mid-Autumn Festival, giving you more time to spend with your family—this is truly a major advantage!

2. The company is very generous with performance bonuses, and there are often sales promotions with additional bonus incentives. If you want to make money, it is definitely a great place to work hard and earn more.

3. The company’s locations are all in places with convenient transportation, which is really convenient for commuters.

Cons

1. Retail sales staff have to stay in the store all day to serve customers, so this position may not be suitable for people who like to be out and about and have difficulty sitting still.

2. Since you need to serve customers, you may occasionally finish work a little late when you are still assisting customers near the end of your shift. Those who must clock in and out exactly on time should think this over.

3. The schedule uses rotating shifts with days off assigned accordingly, so it may not be suitable for people who must always have Saturdays and Sundays off.

Pros

I applied for a sales position in the northern region. The interviewer was very friendly, and the explanations were very clear.

1. The commission on performance bonuses is high; it is a system with a medium-to-low base salary and high bonuses.

2. Scheduled days off. Since I really dislike going out on holidays when everywhere is packed with people, I really like jobs with scheduled days off.

3. The work environment is comfortable. The entire space has been renovated and is very bright and clean.

Cons

Actually, the drawbacks really depend on the individual!

If I had to name one, it would be the shift work! There are morning and evening shifts. I personally don't like getting up very early, so it would be great if they were all evening shifts~

Applied for the branch office front-desk position

The environment felt comfortable, and the atmosphere among the staff on site was quite pleasant.

The supervisor conducted a one-on-one interview, sitting beside me and clearly explaining the job responsibilities, benefits, bonuses, and other information.

Cons

So far, everything is fine.

I applied for their sales position. The interviewer was very friendly and easy to talk to, and explained the job responsibilities in detail. It felt like a job where I could help people. The company's benefits and salary were also quite good. Overall, it was a pleasant interview experience.

Cons

The position requires working rotating morning and evening shifts, so families with children to care for should first assess whether they can accommodate the schedule.

Pros

Entering my third year, the company has made many adjustments:

1. Although it is a sales position, it offers a base salary, and the base salary has been noticeably increased.

(I previously worked in sales in the insurance and publishing industries... there was no base salary...)

2. The training program continues to improve and is well organized. After each training session, a survey is conducted to adjust the content of the next one.

3. The company offers comprehensive benefits, including a birthday bonus, bonuses for the three major holidays, travel benefits, and marriage leave.

4. The management team has been adjusted. The younger group strives to innovate and is willing to accept newcomers’ opinions.

5. The team culture makes people feel very secure.

Cons

As a sales position, you must be willing to accept the following:

1. Shift work

2. Performance pressure

3. The work content is not unchanging, so you need to continually expand your professional knowledge.

Pros

The prospect of being able to benefit from their instructors’ teaching after a year is very appealing.

Cons

I’m really envious that other people can clearly explain the details. When I went for the interview, the interviewer had something to attend to, so they asked another person to explain things.

Leave is provided in accordance with the Labor Standards Act, and they kept saying that it would be easy to earn over 30,000 here.

I directly asked, “How is it calculated?” They said they would explain the details after I finished the trial work (one day).

Usually, they probably only say this to scare off job seekers, which is why they don’t dare to explain it....

Pros

I came here to look at the reviews and only then realized that our branch is actually really good....

1. No fighting over leads

2. Both my colleagues and supervisor are great

3. Your salary reflects your effort, but if you really don’t do any business development, it will be very low

4. Maybe it’s because of my previous work experience! I really think this company is great...... (crying my eyes out)

Cons

1. Each student generates approximately NT$30,000–90,000 in revenue. If you don’t reach 310,000 in a month, you have to write a report, but actually I haven’t had to write one many times

2. Even if you don’t win anything at the year-end banquet, you still get a NT$500 reward

3. Work is very flexible

4. It’s 100% sales-oriented; whether you can get used to it depends on the person

5. Our branch doesn’t fight over leads; they’re distributed evenly

6. Those in educational consulting advance faster.........

Stable working hours (9:00–18:00), with 18:30 being the latest you would leave work

A monthly birthday celebration benefit

Employee trips (one domestic and one overseas trip each year)

Generous bonuses for the three major traditional holidays

Cons

The company is unwilling to spend money hiring an outside cleaning service, so employees take turns cleaning different areas inside the company each month.

During the lunch break, employees take turns staffing the reception desk.

The year-end banquet is held on weekends and always takes place in central or southern Taiwan. No compensatory leave is provided, and employees cannot freely choose whether to attend.

If you are preparing to join the company in a planning position, I recommend that you do not go if the supervisor of the Planning Department you encounter is a female supervisor whose surname is Li. Otherwise, working there will be very difficult, because that great supervisor surnamed Li cannot accept new ideas. When you develop materials based on your own ideas, you will simply be unable to get anything done. Even if you communicate with her extensively, if the revised version is different from what she "suggested," she will still send it back and ask you to continue revising it. So if you have ever seen Liancheng's advertising materials, you will find that they are all essentially the same. The copywriting always looks like that, with no appeal or innovation. If it had not been to build up my work experience, I don't think I would have stayed there for so long.

Pros

I won’t go into too much detail since this is at a branch campus in northern Taiwan. The work is divided into business counter staff (you have to make calls to customers and face performance pressure) and IT customer service engineers (computer repairs and setting up exam rooms; when there are a lot of people, you also have to help the business staff). The supervisor is a pretty good person—very cheerful and considerate. Even when you’re about to resign, they’ll help smooth things over and won’t make the situation awkward. I give this supervisor a thumbs-up. The air-conditioned environment is fairly comfortable. If you’re interested in a certain type of course and want to take it, the supervisor can arrange it for you, and it’s free.

Cons

The working hours are just as everyone says: although the scheduled end time is 6 p.m., you’ll be made to stay until 7–8 p.m. without overtime pay. On typhoon days, someone has to be assigned to stay behind because they’re worried someone might come by to ask about courses (coming to ask about courses during a typhoon—talk about being dedicated to learning). At the time, the salary was NT$22,000, with bonuses calculated separately. “IT education” staff share in the branch’s team performance bonus, so the better the branch performs, the more bonus you receive. Business is usually better during the peak summer and winter vacation seasons; during the slow season in November and December, there really is nothing to do but swat flies.

Pros

There are often group dinners. The base salary for counter staff is NT$21,000, with a guaranteed NT$24,000 for the first three months. Performance bonuses start at NT$310,000 in sales, with a bonus of NT$5,000; below NT$310,000, there is only the base salary.

For NT$310,000–510,000 in sales, the bonus is NT$300 for every NT$10,000.

For NT$510,000–760,000 in sales, the bonus is NT$400 for every NT$10,000.

With NT$510,000 in sales, the salary is around NT$30,000 (please read point 8 carefully).

Cons

1. The company is unwilling to provide training for new employees, leaving them to figure things out on their own. (Even when you ask questions, supervisors still may not be very willing to teach you, possibly because of the high turnover rate.)

2. Lead resources are distributed unevenly, with priority given to experienced employees, leaving newcomers no opportunity to conduct interviews. (They say it is because they are afraid newcomers will lose the orders.)

3. During the three-month probationary period, there are no employee benefits, making you essentially equivalent to a part-time worker. (You only become a regular employee after reaching NT$310,000 in sales.)

4. You work more than nine hours a day, with no break during the day. The position operates under a responsibility-based work system, so you cannot leave work on time.

5. Experienced employees are afraid their performance will be taken away, so they are unwilling to teach newcomers.

6. There is severe internal competition over sales performance. Some colleagues are unwilling to handle customer complaints and will dump them on you.

7. Phone lists contain duplicate numbers, but you still have to keep calling them.

8. There are approximately 100 counter staff throughout the company, and nearly 70% of them earn less than NT$30,000 per month. (You really need to think carefully about this point.)

The bonus information above is from nearly half a year ago and is for reference only.

Pros

Having worked at the headquarters, I found the company’s systems to be fairly good. There is a birthday party once a month, where everyone eats together to celebrate.

Over the course of the year, there are also domestic and overseas trips. For overseas employee trips, the company subsidizes part of the cost for you to travel abroad. Overtime is not too serious either—you can usually leave around seven or eight o’clock. If you have an urgent matter, you can leave a little after six, and if you really need to take time off, the company is flexible and will let you do so.

Cons

At most, you have to rotate at least four times a month to handle various minor tasks at lunchtime, so you cannot take a nap during your lunch break.
