Read the community guidelinesThe interviewer is like a king
The interviewee is like a commoner
The interviewer's attitude was uncomfortable—arrogant and disrespectful.
My teacher retired at 45, achieved financial freedom, and travels around enjoying the scenery; their superiority is beyond question.
How old is the manager, and they’re still interviewing people and working for a salary?
It didn’t rain that day
Interviewed for an institutional engineer position
It felt like they were just looking for someone to chat with to pass the time
The answers didn’t address the questions; they clearly had no intention of hiring anyone

The interview was on the first floor.
I interviewed for an engineering position. The manager spoke very rudely and condescendingly. If this is how they treat interviewees, I can only imagine what working with them would be like. I have also interviewed candidates, and I would never take such a high-handed attitude.
Overall, this interview was fairly simple, and the process was not complicated.
First, there was a personality test, followed by a simple written English test, and finally an interview with two managers.
The atmosphere during the interview was fairly relaxed, and the managers had a good attitude. It did not feel too serious, which made it easier to relax.
The managers were willing to explain how many people are currently in the company’s development department and the current demand for talent for the project. This part felt fairly transparent.
Total time spent: 2 hours
Work environment: Not seen (the interview was held in a meeting room on the first floor at the time)
However, there were also some aspects that I did not feel very good about.
A second online interview had originally been scheduled, but I never received any notification afterward, which was somewhat disappointing.
Another issue was the benefits. I asked the manager about them during the interview, but the manager said that I would need to ask Human Resources to get an answer, which made me feel that the information was not direct or clear enough.
Moreover, I only found out at the end that the decision on whether to hire someone is actually made by Human Resources. This made me feel that the entire interview was not simply about finding a suitable candidate, but was more like an evaluation of the project’s costs and the resources that would need to be invested.
In addition, the position may require business travel, which is another point I need to consider carefully.

Interviewed by ME
They asked me to present projects I had previously handled, but then dismissed them and treated me flippantly—why ask me to present them in the first place?
They asked why I came to interview for a non-screen industry position—then why ask me to come for an interview?
Those two points made it feel like they were just playing with me, followed by sarcastic remarks and humiliation.
It felt like I had been tricked into coming there just to be insulted.
It’s all written under the cons!
A female sales manager acted very condescendingly and clearly hadn’t even reviewed the applicant’s information beforehand. Once I went in, she kept her head down looking at her phone and barely looked up at me. She even had the nerve to bombard me with questions about how to solve the business-development problems she was currently facing. It was obvious that she was simply trying to find someone to provide solutions. Then, while looking at my résumé, she asked about my past job-hopping experience with a disdainful attitude and a mocking tone. You can keep seeing this position opened and closed repeatedly, which very clearly suggests that they are—under the guise of recruitment, actually trying to solicit and learn business-development techniques! Could you please have at least some actual expertise yourself!!

HR was extremely condescending, disrespectful, and preachy. A very poor interview experience.
None, a very unpleasant interview experience
The supervisor at the AOC interview organization was extremely disrespectful toward the interviewee. It felt less like recruiting and more like calling someone in for entertainment and verbal abuse. After the background check, they mocked and humiliated me. Does looking for a job really give them the right to humiliate someone so casually?
I am certain that I will never apply to this company again for the rest of my life, nor will I buy AOC monitors again.
The company is backed by Chinese capital, and senior managers are from mainland China, so you can experience the management style of a Chinese-funded company.
1. The supervisor has serious gender discrimination issues. When male employees slack off and do nothing at work, the supervisor turns a blind eye, but during meetings, in front of everyone, takes out their frustration on the women who work diligently.
2. Extremely chauvinistic and controlling, believing that women are inferior to men. Has emotional control issues and may suddenly become furious, using threatening language to threaten you.
3. No overtime pay.
J....e from the commercial display division at Philips often smiles at you... a smile that sends chills down your spine.
Apart from smiling, this person shows some signs of senility, forgets things constantly, and often loses their temper... Regarding work assignments... the more capable you are, the more you have to do, but your salary is lower than other people’s, because they think that since your work is relatively easy, it is normal for you to earn less.
The other departments are okay... DHL is tougher, and the Stone company is also very tough... the rest are more or less retirement departments.

The manager of a certain department whose name starts with the letter L only ever benefits the authorized vendors he knows, and is also quick to anger. Truly awful.
You can learn how to shift blame. After stepping on a few more landmines, you'll understand.
Constant overtime wore my body down. It wasn't acceptable not to work overtime, so I resigned. The company used to be in good shape, but now...
The rules regarding overtime pay and leave are quite peculiar. You may not necessarily receive overtime pay, and taking leave may even result in additional deductions. In any case, you need to pay attention yourself.
The HR staff are professionally trained; when it comes to anything unfavorable to the company, they will find ways to prevent you from obtaining relevant evidence.
Those considering joining may want to think it over.
There is overtime pay,
but for positions above a certain level, the maximum overtime pay is NT$500 per day,
the remaining overtime can be exchanged for compensatory leave,
working hours are fairly normal,
and the company’s profit-sharing bonus and year-end bonus are both good.
The product is TVs/monitors, which were once in their heyday. It’s just that the overall TV market is in terrible shape now, and the entire industry is losing money.
But the company is big enough and has deep enough pockets. It can still hang on for a while.
