A company that makes no sense; every day is spent running around like headless flies, doing things without knowing what they’re doing.

As long as you don't go along with their wishes, you should be prepared to leave. The entire company is centered around procurement, and procurement can decide company policies, the direction of e-commerce, marketing plans, design styles, and even require each department to do what that department is supposed to do. As soon as you resist, you're immediately blacklisted. After procuring one or two hot-selling products, they act as if they're incredibly capable of ordering everyone else around, as though the company could survive on those two products alone.

Every time procurement makes a purchase, they have to ask for opinions from the entire company. Even when everyone says a product really won't sell, they still insist on bringing it in. What's the point of asking? After it arrives and can't be sold, they blame marketing, the channels, and design—anything but themselves.

The company doesn't trust professional expertise. If you give an opinion, you'll be snapped at and blacklisted; if you don't, they'll accuse you of forming a small group in secret to oppose the company. Are they paranoid or something?

When I joined, I heard them proudly saying that they had driven out a certain colleague. But after checking the historical performance records, that colleague was clearly the top performer. During one lunch break, I even heard them say things like, “So what if his performance was good? I just wanted to target him. I simply didn't like him. He deserved what happened to him.”

I couldn't stay any longer. Anyone thinking of joining should think it over and read the other comments. I couldn't even find anything to say in the company's defense. As for the person who claims to be a manager, well, take what she says with a grain of salt—she's really good at talking.

The company invited me for an interview, and I went to the address they provided, but I couldn't find it at all. It was only after I called them that I found out they had given me the wrong address. I was truly speechless at the time. After arriving at the interview address and finishing the interview, I was waiting for the elevator outside when I heard them discussing how I couldn't find the place and hadn't done my homework seriously. Don't people generally check the address before an interview? They were mocking me in all sorts of ways. Hearing that made me furious. What kind of company is this?

There are diverse learning opportunities

Cons

Hi everyone,

Although this is an anonymous platform, I want to tell everyone that I am probably the terrible supervisor/Y that everyone refers to as having “no ability, being scheming, arrogant, and a smiling tiger… possessing every shortcoming,” and I should also be the so-called cancer of this company.

I have been this company’s cancer for a while. During this time, the projects I was responsible for covered everything under the sun. Sometimes I took on so much that I felt I must be seriously ill to do so many extra things without compensation.

Because I have handled such a wide range of things, I firmly believe that some of the people commenting here were talented, promising candidates whom I personally selected from résumés and then interviewed myself. I think I mentioned during the interviews that this has never been a “perfect” company; we are also learning. I hoped there would not be too much of a gap in our understanding of one another, so when I met promising people, I was willing to spend a great deal of time interviewing them, even though I was busy as hell. If you still remember, I should also have mentioned that choosing a job is a two-way decision. There is no right or wrong—only whether it is a good fit.

Now, because we were not a good fit, posting reckless accusations on this unmanaged platform and disclosing the company’s internal information may also be a very immature thing to do.

Perhaps because the company’s name is public, it is only natural that it would be attacked. I hope the boss’s parents never google these comments and become heartbroken, because if it were me, I definitely would not want that.

But honestly, I am only an employee drawing a salary. Put plainly, it is not really my business. One day, when I remove this cancer—myself—no one will remember who I was anyway…

A response to the comments about me:

I am indeed emotional, because I have very little patience for people who are self-righteous, scheming, deep and calculating, unwilling to improve their communication, selfish and concerned only with their own well-being, unwilling to help when their teammates are in trouble at critical moments, smiling while hiding a knife, becoming unhappy when corrected, passing notes while being absent-minded in meetings, or failing to prepare before meetings. I become irritable very easily, and I cannot smile and say “it’s okay” with immense maternal love. I am truly very sorry for that.

I am indeed biased as well. I have an extreme fondness for people who work hard quietly and get things done, who are capable yet remain humble, who are simple yet retain their passion, and who, although sometimes a bit scatterbrained and lacking common sense, have a good attitude.

So yes, I am the most scheming person in this entire company, and I am indeed someone who drives people away. I completely accept these accusations.

Many colleagues come and go. Every encounter has its meaning, and every choice has its reasons. Choosing a job is a two-way decision, just like love. So when colleagues I care deeply about leave, I always cry quietly, while still wishing them well.

There are indeed some so-called facts in the comments, such as work logs, having to tidy your desk every day, and assigning people each day to take turns doing simple cleaning. But everything is relative. If these tasks strongly affect your mood at work, then perhaps, honestly, we are simply not a good fit. Everyone actually has a choice; after all, there is no such thing as perfection.

But some things are “facts” defined by the individual.

How long did the commenter actually know the people involved? Did they truly try to understand what the other person was trying to do? Advice should first come from sincerely trying to understand the other person; once you understand, then you can offer advice.

Actually, I did not originally want to say anything, because I felt these comments could simply be regarded as each person expressing themselves. The internet is free like that, after all, and everyone has the right to speak.

But these comments make this place sound completely worthless. So are the partners who are still working hard here idiots or mentally deficient? Is choosing to stay here a completely stupid thing to do?

There are still many excellent colleagues here. These comments are completely unfair to the people who are still working hard here. For the sake of this unfairness, I have chosen to speak up, and I will do so only this once.

You can curse me as much as you like—I honestly do not care that much.

As long as I have a clear conscience, that is enough. There are more worthwhile things in life to spend time working toward. Anonymous conversations online are simply too exhausting.

By the way, Zoe tsai was once a good colleague of mine. Please do not target her.

Perhaps one day, when this cancer of a person has disappeared, I will come back and tell everyone the good news!

Wishing everyone all the best in their future careers!

1. The location is at an exit of the Zhongxiao Dunhua MRT station

Cons

1. You have to wait a long time during interviews, and after entering the company you often have to wait for the boss as well. Every appointment is delayed because something comes up, and even the time of the company-wide meeting held on a fixed schedule can be delayed.

2. They do not respect employees’ time and have no sense of time.

3. Your off-hours are not really your off-hours. You may be @mentioned in the group chat regardless of whether it is a holiday or the middle of the night.

4. The supervisor has extremely poor emotional management—even the boss cannot control them.

5. The job posting says that people who engage in office politics should not apply, because the person best at scheming against others is right here.

6. They like to badmouth employees behind their backs. The supervisor and boss also complain about each other in front of other employees. They ask employees to raise their opinions, but when superiors have opinions about others, they do not raise them either and only gossip behind their backs.

7. Everyone goes through two interviews before joining the company and there is also a probationary period, but the boss and supervisor still have a lot of opinions about employees. Perhaps they are simply criticizing their own judgment~

8. They often spend a lot of time in meaningless meetings. The meetings reach no conclusions and nothing can be implemented. The boss may not even be listening to reports, and will ask questions after an employee finishes reporting that have already been answered.

9. The position was created by the company. Every week, employees report last week’s progress and this week’s progress, and they also have to write daily work logs. Yet the boss and supervisor still say they do not know what the job entails or what employees are doing. There are only a dozen or so employees, but they still cannot figure it out—it is quite impressive.

10. They do not respect professional expertise, division of responsibilities is unclear, there are many miscellaneous tasks, and efficiency is poor.

11. If the company asks you to express your opinion, it does not want you to give input based on your expertise or experience; it only wants to hear you agree with the people above you.

12. On the surface, they welcome everyone’s opinions about the company, but if you express an opinion about a superior or the superior’s favorite... just wait to be singled out~

13. They do not trust employees and suspect that everyone is doing nothing. The office atmosphere is highly oppressive, and they love to sneak glances at employees’ screens.

14. They cannot distinguish between public and private matters, treat employees very differently, focus on the person rather than the issue, and do not look at performance—only whether they like you.

15. The company’s goal is to make a fortune. The specific approach is to make a fortune. In short, it is all about making a fortune.

16. Turnover is extremely high. Every departing employee is asked what they hope the company will improve, but the company has no intention of reviewing itself.

17. The office does not even have basic clean drinking water.

18. Employees are required to solicit positive reviews for products. If there is no written comment, they will also be reprimanded.

19. They say they want to establish systems, but the most systematic things in the company are requiring employees to leave nothing on their desks after work and taking turns serving as the duty person.

20. Every day, you have to clear your desk, write a work log, and take turns serving as the duty person. If you do not do it properly, someone will remind everyone about it in a meeting. If you want to be treated like an elementary school student, welcome to this company.

Hmm... let me think...

Cons

1. The superior focuses on the person rather than the matter. Those who receive favor are revered like gods; those who do not are despised like dirt.

When the company encounters problems, everyone is asked to offer ideas during meetings. On the surface, employees are encouraged to have a team spirit and solve problems and create results together. Naive as I was, I actually believed it at first.

The truth is, good suggestions and practical solutions will never be adopted! Unless you happen to say exactly what a certain X has in mind and want to do, and happen to have been born with a silver tongue, while also possessing the ability to elaborate on matters that could have been expressed concisely into a rambling, repetitive stream of nonsense. Follow this pattern a few times and, first of all, congratulations—you have successfully become a certain X’s favorite ^^ 94 loves this kind of thing~

Once you successfully become the favorite, everything you say and do can be treated as a model. A certain X will tell everyone to learn from you. At this point, your farts smell sweet and even your feces are edible; ni 94 is definitely your soulmate. You really understand the situation, communicate well, and have a trust rating of 100. If you have reached this stage, you really are amazing—your position is secure ^^

After that, things become easier. When everyone is asked to raise questions in a meeting, you do not need to add any useful suggestions of your own. Just rephrase and repackage the company ideals that a certain X wanted to achieve in the previous meetings, and you can effortlessly gain +10,000 HP ^^

Oh right, I forgot to mention: a certain X is obviously extremely petty toward employees. If you are an unfavored employee, I’m sorry, but no matter how meaningful your work or how much extra you contribute—even if you simply keep your head down and make no mistakes—it will all be 100% ignored or targeted, or you will be deemed not to have created high value for the team. Even achievements that surpass your previous results are considered only what you should have done! OK, fine~ You say that creating value is what employees should do anyway, but when management issues mindless, endlessly circular instructions in such a toxic environment, I’m sorry, but I cannot go along with it!

2. The company has no clear work procedures, resulting in low efficiency and unclear division of labor.

I believe it is true that small companies need to gradually establish their systems, but the prerequisite is that the company genuinely wants to establish them……

A certain X and a certain Y constantly say, “We need to work hard to establish systems,” but that is merely a false gesture. Don’t be fooled, clever people. Anyone who actually tries to establish procedures will be told that they lack flexibility, are poor at interdepartmental communication, or are not suited to the workplace. No wonder the company has been operating for so long while its financial situation still has room for improvement!

3. Avalon among coworkers: Who is a minion? Who is a villager? It is impossible to tell!

Coworkers wear masks and pretend around one another. If you are lucky, you may encounter villagers who support each other; if you have not prayed enough and are unlucky, just wait to be smeared by a minion! After all, you know that in this company, being assertive and cold-faced only puts you at a disadvantage—and if you also happen not to be favored by management, you are immediately eliminated. Bye-bye, no need to play anymore ^^

Here is the more advanced version: suppose a dispute occurs and a certain Y is at fault while the employee is innocent. The minions still have to cling to the stronger side, like watermelons, in order to preserve their positions in the company. After all, they will be believed only when they later report to a certain Y and seek sympathy ^^

The recruitment site says, “Our coworkers are all very nice! There is no room for scheming here.” That is absolutely just self-promotion. Especially a certain Y, who controls everything, big or small, in the company—a smiling tiger x1. You will not realize when you have offended her, nor when she has smeared you behind your back. Apart from her, I cannot think of anyone who loves scheming more.

4. The most important thing about coming to the company is not working; it is managing the superior’s emotions.

A certain superior has poor emotional-management skills, so please have plenty of patience.

5. A certain X has a lot of room for improvement in comprehension.

For the same issue, please explain patiently, speak slowly, and repeat yourself infinitely many times. Otherwise, a certain X’s notoriously poor comprehension cannot digest and absorb it immediately. #poorcomprehension#goingincircles#illogical#unabletogetthepoint#toomuchnonsenseleadingyoutoworkpastquittingtime—this is all perfectly normal. These are the best synonyms for a certain X.

6. I have question marks about the company’s business strategy and development direction.

To be honest, I have been here for some time, and I really am not sure what the company’s current business policy is.

Is it, like the slogan online, planning to move into the mainland China and Southeast Asian markets before 2016? They have been shouting that until now and are still shouting it.

Or is it simply selling off all the inventory of products that were brought in because they were mistakenly (?) thought to be bestsellers, and calling that 94 great?

For additional context: products brought in sell an average of five units per week (?)—that probably counts as an A-grade hot-selling product at this company, ha.

Although it claims to be an e-commerce startup, in practice the only things approximately related to e-commerce are operating the website backend and selling products on major platforms and social media. There are no engineers in the company, so its development in the e-commerce field is extremely limited. Without e-commerce development, the company is, at most, a startup distributor. If you want more opportunities to develop and learn in the e-commerce field, sorry, this place is not suitable for you.

7. As for benefits, just take what you read online with a grain of salt.

Year-end bonus: question mark

Additional training subsidy: question mark

8. After work, nothing other than keyboards and mice may be left on the desk. Figurines (X) desk calendars (X) plants (X) pen holders (X) stationery (X)

Books (X)….. (X) (X) (X) (X) (X) (X) (X) (X) (X)

Every day after work, you also have to submit a work (lián) log (luò) to the boss. I thought I was attending a cram school for repeat exam takers, or some kind of Spartan prep school.

Everyone also has to take turns being the duty person. Sweeping and wiping desks are the basics. Suppose you have an urgent matter and leave right after school…oh! I mean after work, and come early the next day to sweep. Before long, you will hear a certain X say: “Everyone, please clean more seriously and put some thought into it. I am observing who cleans seriously and who does not ^^” I’m truly sorry—I thought we had all applied to be office staff ><

9. After work, late at night and in the early hours of the morning, you will be repeatedly @mentioned to handle work matters, which has seriously become harassment.

10. The company is extremely disrespectful toward former employees, pinning blame on them while the company itself simply brushes its hands clean and bears no responsibility or fault whatsoever.

There is far too much to list……

To be honest, what I fear is not the company making mistakes, but that after issues are reported upward and the company discovers its mistakes, it has no intention whatsoever of adjusting or correcting them. It simply lets them rot, has no willingness to face the problems, or ignores actionable suggestions.

The “we’re a team” rhetoric has been reduced to a slogan. Anyone willing to waste their youth is welcome to feed the young master rice cakes, play games with him, and happily sit around waiting for payday on the 5th.

A certain X is blinded and cannot see that the so-called right-hand person, a certain Y, is actually a cancerous tumor in the company. Their judgment is also highly questionable.

Although these words contain some embellishment, I urge everyone preparing to submit a résumé, preparing for an interview, or even considering accepting a position: please think three times!

Please consider: Why has this page received a steady stream of mostly similar negative reviews ever since the company was founded? Why, even after the company replied, “The company will carefully review and improve based on your feedback,” has the so-called “review and improvement” still not appeared? There is no smoke without fire, and no fire without smoke. I believe everyone has a certain capacity for judgment, so why use your precious time to make a guaranteed-loss investment and stake everything on one gamble?

I’ll be watching to see how the company develops in the future.

Colleagues are easy to get along with.

Cons

Overall, the company lacks direction and keeps repeating the same things without success. Employees are expected to take on multiple roles while also carefully dealing with emotional and subjective people. Former employees are disparaged; quiet people are misunderstood as having communication problems. Employees’ thoughts and professional advice are not understood, while management insists on its own ideas and then criticizes employees for not being serious or hardworking enough. The overall evaluation is poor; there is nothing to learn, and employees cannot apply their strengths or expertise.

I stumbled across this platform by chance and took a look at the reviews. I laughed.

Cons

If there were a space for companies to respond, I think both sides—the platform and the commenters—would have had something to talk about. Haha

I suggest providing pre-employment investigations. If there were such a mechanism, asking both sides for their opinions about former employees or employers should be quite fair.

I’m dying laughing

Location – Zhongxiao Dunhua

Cons

1. During the interview, they said it was a very open company that valued communication, but in reality, these were just superficial words. There is absolutely no communication internally; people not only engage in office politics but also never adopt any suggestions, wasting time every day. If you have ideas, keep them to yourself.

2. The company has no systems or direction. Basically, everything is decided by the top boss or managers, regardless of whether there are principles or reasons behind it. They claim to offer end-to-end operations, but if you cannot handle or are not skilled in certain areas, you will be accused of lacking ambition and the ability to learn.

3. The arrogant female manager absolutely does not know how to be a manager. She cannot lead people, speaks rudely and obnoxiously, is insincere, illogical, and incompetent (how she became a manager is also a mystery). She only orders others around while actually knowing nothing herself. If you ask her about something, you will basically only get snapped at, and she will not answer you directly either (perhaps she simply does not know how to answer because she is incompetent). If she “cares” about you, I’m sorry, but it is all superficial posturing—like a cat mourning a mouse; your life or death has nothing to do with her. This person is the top boss’s favorite, so be careful. In other words, working with her is very painful.

4. Salaries are not paid on time, which is outrageous. If you want to receive your salary on time every month, I recommend that you do not come here.

5. The company calls itself an e-commerce business, but it has virtually no operating model or direction, and the division of internal responsibilities is unclear. There are endless reports to submit, making it impossible to carry out any important work, while managers think you are slacking off.

6. The top boss has severe obsessive-compulsive tendencies, so I recommend taking this into consideration before joining the team. There must not be anything on the office desk, chairs must always be properly positioned, and if a gap appears between desks when they are being used, you must immediately push them back into place... This is just the tip of the iceberg.

7. Decisions change from one day to the next, benefits are merely an illusion, and there is no clear salary review mechanism. This is a company that knows very well how to exploit its employees.

The company keeps replying to other comments that it will review the situation, but it remains completely unmoved. If you are capable and have ideas, you definitely will not be happy at this company or be able to realize your potential. Do not even hope to gain any new knowledge.

no

Cons

1. The office is actually not beautiful at all; it just has some cheap IKEA furniture, and it is very cramped. You also have to clear your desk completely after work, so you cannot leave potted plants, figurines, desk calendars, or other items there.

2. You will constantly be tagged on LINE after work, and you may receive messages on weekends or in the middle of the night (even though they are clearly not urgent matters). If you do not respond, you may also be reprimanded.

3. The division of responsibilities is extremely unclear. Position A is expected to handle tasks from positions B, C, and D, while position B is expected to handle tasks from positions A, C, and D. Even when there is a designer, you still have to create the materials yourself... They call it an “all-in-one” workflow, and if you cannot handle or are not skilled in certain areas, you will be accused of lacking ambition and learning ability.

4. No matter how seriously you work, the people above you will always assume that you are slacking off, and you will also have to constantly report what you are doing at work.

5. When you seriously offer improvement suggestions based on your expertise, they will only shoot them down or brush them off, and then question you in return. I suggest that anyone considering joining should just be a yes-person who agrees with everything; otherwise, all you can expect is to be mocked every day.

6. Policies change constantly, benefits are just a mirage, and there is no clear salary-review mechanism.

Convenient location; you can go shopping after work.

Cons

1. The wait during the interview was very long, and there were two interviews.

2. It is said that the turnover rate is extremely high; after working for six months, you are considered a senior employee.

3. There are no particularly appealing benefits—there are probably no benefits at all, and no overtime pay.

4. They call themselves a startup, and their job-platform listing makes them sound very appealing, as if they were a creative company. I advise all ambitious young people not to be fooled, because this place will completely extinguish your enthusiasm for work.

5. Having ideas is a good thing, but try not to share your own ideas here. No matter how great the suggestion is, it will not be adopted and may even make people dislike you.

There used to be some, but they disappeared when I left.

Cons

1. During the interview, they said the benefits were great, but when you actually try to use them…

2. Everyone gives their opinions, but after doing so, they get shot down in all sorts of ways. They say you’re not proactive enough and that you can go find another job—the company doesn’t need people like that.

3. They write to interviewees, newcomers, and on the job bank that the company dislikes internal intrigue, but there are still people who are obnoxious and run their mouths. Do they think everyone is blind or deaf?

4. The company has a high turnover rate, and graduates are easily blacklisted. Does the company really have no problems at all?

Look below: everything unfavorable to the company gets opposed, while their own comments are all met with agreement. They claim they are humbly reviewing themselves, but the IP addresses are all the same. If you’re going to manufacture positive reviews, there’s no need to make it this obvious. If the company were really that good, would the turnover rate be so high? This is how things were when I left, and it looks like they’re still the same now—no improvement at all.

Think it over carefully before joining.

For a “new graduate,” the salary is pretty good.

Cons

1. There are many tasks, and they are miscellaneous, chaotic, and subject to numerous restrictions. When I asked whether I could raise matters where assistance was needed, I was told that everyone was very busy—it is an end-to-end operation.

2. The company’s business policies are not suited to the broader environment.

3. They made the interviewee wait for a very long time.

4. During the interview, they said the office atmosphere was pleasant, but when I went for the interview, I found that this was not the case.

5. Given the salary they offer and the job responsibilities, the position is only suitable for new graduates. Experienced people cannot fully utilize their abilities here and will also be restricted.

6. The interview process gave the impression that they want someone who is capable but cannot offer opinions.

Other: The company says it is an e-commerce business, but someone I know said that the company presents itself externally as an outsourced operations provider. When I actually went for the interview, the first person said it was all e-commerce, while the second person said it was an e-commerce platform that handles agency or distribution operations independently. The two people also gave conflicting information about the benefits. If you are considering joining, think it over carefully.

2. The office looks nice.

3. Most employees are young women.

4. After the interview, I sent an email with my questions. The relevant supervisors patiently replied and resolved the issues.

Cons

(After I attended the second interview and received a rejection notice, I saw someone say that it was better not to go, which made me feel more cheerful.)

1. The senior supervisor conducted the second interview but was very inattentive when listening to the interviewee’s questions and responded perfunctorily.

2. The senior supervisor made it seem as though I was very suitable for the job, but then did not hire me.

3. There was a pre-employment test related to the job. It was troublesome, and they did not provide any feedback.

4. The second interview was truly a waste of time.

5. Not hiring me is your loss..... Sigh.

Work assignments are unclear, and there is no clear direction or goals. People are not treated equally, employees’ questions cannot be answered, and communication lacks focus. They expect the horse to run well without letting it eat grass. Emotionally charged language is often heard. One person takes on multiple roles, many of which are not actually their responsibility. Thankfully, I left.

The location is very convenient.

The interview conversation was pleasant, and they were very polite.

Cons

After all the interviews, they send an email asking you to complete a simple test, saying it is to see whether your style fits the needs of their company.

After receiving the email, I found it very strange. After all, they could tell from the portfolio whether the style was a good fit for their company.

Yet they ask you to create a banner, with the content to be saved from their official website, and to come up with some simple marketing copy.

It does not feel like a simple test at all; it is basically asking for free design work.

Also, the company has no engineers. The website is outsourced and has its own content-management and publishing backend, but when necessary, you still have to modify the CSS styles yourself.

It is best to clarify the job responsibilities, because the design role also involves reviewing content before it is published. If you like it, then go for it.
