Pros

Hi~ I am an employee of this company. I have not been with the company for very long, but I have been here for over a year.

All employees know that there are quite a few anonymous reviews online, but we have no intention of being swayed by them. After some time, I decided to share my feelings and thoughts about working at this company.

I am not a recent graduate either. I have worked for quite a few companies and have encountered bosses who asked employees to go out for social engagements after work, as well as companies that required overtime without paying overtime wages. However, this job offers a great deal of freedom. No one pressures you about your work progress, nor do they require pointless overtime. As long as you arrange your own work schedule properly and do not affect others, that is fine.

The employee benefits that should be provided are all there: seasonal bonuses, birthday bonuses, year-end bonuses, company dinners, an overseas trip arranged every year, and subsidies for continuing education. Although they may not be the best, they definitely exceed the basic benefits generally offered.

If you encounter problems at work and bring them up for discussion, you will definitely get an answer.

I think that if you have questions about the company's management and operations, rather than listening to malicious anonymous criticism, why not take a look at the office during your interview to see the working atmosphere and environment for yourself?

Cons

I can't think of any.

Flexible working hours, so you don’t have to keep to a very tight schedule.

Cons

1. Supervisors are prone to believing rumors and failing to understand the situation, often unfairly targeting people instead of addressing the issue.

2. Newcomers are easily singled out.

3. Sharing your own opinions and ideas may make you disliked, and they are not accepted.

4. Supervisors do not hold themselves to high standards while treating others leniently.

5. People who are not good at socializing find it difficult to survive.

6. There is serious infighting within the team.

7. The boss promotes the idea that employees should be candid with one another, but it has instead led to a series of negative effects.

They will sue people. When I resigned, I left with a pile of lawsuits that took many years to conclude.

I was a former *n HR employee, and I don't know how many have changed over the past few years. When interviewing at each company, you may want to check roughly how many HR employees it replaces on average per year before deciding whether to join.

If the HR department responsible for managing the system is highly unstable, personnel matters will be unstable as well, especially for a very small company—and vice versa. I hope this small suggestion for evaluating a company will be helpful to job seekers.

(Details omitted.) The outcome was that the company lost all of its criminal cases. In the civil cases, each side won and lost some. However, I still need to carry out the apology statement required by Taiwan High Court Judgment 109 Shang No. 963, despite the fact that I was unable to collect sufficient evidence to prove the matter. This company does not welcome me, but perhaps it welcomes talented people.

At first, I didn’t believe the comments from others. After joining, I realized they were all true. What the boss says and does are two different things. They talk about all sorts of visions, such as being on the same path as Facebook, but in the end, they don’t even have a clear idea of what the product direction is. When the company doesn’t make money, they blame the employees for poor efficiency. Many people who couldn’t take it anymore either left on their own or were laid off by the company. It’s truly “wonderful, wonderful.”

P.S.: Those who join, remember to read the “contract” carefully—it’s very important! They make it sound like everything is for the employees’ benefit, but anything vague or unclear means the company doesn’t acknowledge it!

Pros

I highly recommend everyone come here to train their patience.

Cons

I dreamed that the heads of finance, marketing, design, and technology resigned one after another, along with a bunch of highly capable people, leaving behind those who are good at flattering others.

What was written in 2017 is still the same today.

There are many internal cliques; you have to quickly curry favor with the boss to survive.

If you want to know more inside information, there is also a “Damn Engineers” page.

I urge everyone to think twice and not waste your time.

Pros

This isn’t my first job since entering the workforce, and I’ve been here for over three years. The company provides the expected bonuses for the three major holidays, along with various employee benefits. There is a high degree of flexibility, allowing us to arrange our work and break times flexibly to achieve greater efficiency. Supervisors also don’t make unreasonable demands that we finish everything before leaving. Even when overtime is required for some reason, unlike at other companies, we are paid overtime. Given the culture of assuming employees are responsible for completing their work without overtime pay in Taiwan’s media industry, I feel very fortunate to work here! Overtime is extremely rare!

Cons

The office could be designed to be a little more comfortable; everyone would be even more motivated to work hard together!

Pros

Eat whenever you feel like it.

Cons

There is severe internal conflict, with many cliques and a lot of maneuvering…

If you are a low-key person, this place is not suitable for you. You may be inexplicably called in for a meeting and told that you have not done anything?! Or that your performance is poor, and so on.

The systems are also a complete mess. You can really see how everyone seems to have different standards.

For example, some people do not start work until 11 a.m.…and do not even have to clock in?! (Including certain managers and certain employees.)

Employees with connections to senior management have poor ability to handle matters and create one problem after another, yet they turn around and ask the people working with them to…be more understanding…

There is no use reporting problems at the company to senior management, because they simply do not want to solve them…Good luck, everyone!

Constant, unchanging struggle training for survival

Those who obey the boss survive;

those who oppose the boss die without a burial place.

Cons

A lot of what I wanted to say has already been said. It’s not that I hope the company will go under, but that it should do what it ought to do.

However, the company has no vision. The boss engages in infighting every day, communication is impossible, the turnover rate is high, there are no systems, there is overtime, and the company atmosphere is terrible.

There are plenty of people at the company who look for new jobs while working. Inaction actually means you won’t be targeted. HR has simply done too much.

On the day of the incident, she proposed enrolling the part-time worker in labor insurance, including arranging coverage for those who had gone uninsured for more than two years. Two hours later, she was fired that same day.

Labor insurance authorities, please come investigate. I hope you can educate the bosses not to exploit employees anymore.

Last year, the boss also said that the part-time workers had only been there a few days and that labor insurance was too expensive, so none of them were insured. Crying for HR, crying for the part-time workers, crying for those who were forced out in the infighting—there are too many innocent people here.

If you accidentally make a mistake while working here, you may end up with an all-you-can-eat serving of lawsuits!

I heard the company sued an employee for criminal liability and fired them because the salary calculation approved by the boss themselves was incorrect. The boss didn’t notice it themselves, but instead turned around and filed charges for theft, breach of trust, and embezzlement. It looked like such drastic action would only be taken over losses of at least 1 million, but later I found out the amount was less than 100,000. Apparently, this is also how they got rid of the previous HR employee. Come here and earn little money while getting an all-you-can-eat serving of lawsuits.

Cons

What other drawbacks are there?

You’re still complaining about an all-you-can-eat serving of lawsuits?

Poor company atmosphere:

A friend works at this company and says the atmosphere is very poor. The COO not only lacks basic management knowledge and accountability, but is also often unable to provide subordinates with proper direction, causing colleagues to work like headless flies. When subordinates make mistakes, the COO only wants to find someone to blame and scapegoat, rather than helping them improve. As a result, although the company is called a startup, it lacks any real innovation.

Weak profit model:

The company’s main source of revenue is product placement in videos, but its most successful viral videos are all handled by outsourced teams. It therefore lacks core competitiveness; one can imagine that once the outsourced teams are gone, the company’s revenue will decline accordingly, ultimately leading to its closure.
