Pros

My former colleagues were all wonderful and highly capable. I sincerely wish them health in body, mind, and spirit!

Cons

It was only after joining the company that I came across the reports of trouble on Tianyancha. At the time, I felt that I had not experienced any unreasonable treatment, so I assumed those were merely horror stories from the past. But after staying longer, I discovered that they were all true—and still happening now!

The company’s internal management is very poor. When problems are raised with the boss, it feels as though the boss only wants to “solve the person who raised the problem” rather than solve the problem itself.

The emotional management of a certain department head is also quite problematic; calming them down takes more effort than calming a client. If you can tolerate being treated like a personal underling, and can endure the manager’s and boss’s unpredictable moods, you are welcome to work at Leyan—they are desperately short of this kind of person (slave).

This company has the same owner as Qingyue Dental Clinic downstairs, so it’s not hard to understand why they’re constantly short-staffed.

It really is as previous reviewers have said: management is extremely poor, and the turnover rate is frighteningly high. Within just a few days of joining, you will see colleagues preparing to leave. When you first start, no one provides any guidance, and before long you will constantly be assigned more work. After colleagues leave, it is almost impossible to hand over their responsibilities properly, which causes continual gaps in the work. Management then randomly dumps the existing workload on whoever is still there. Overtime is unpaid, and you often even have to use your short lunch break to rush work, or take it home to finish. The boss simply considers this to be expected. Even the pay raise promised at the beginning will be casually delayed or denied after you pass the probationary period. A company that treats employees merely as tools to exploit and shows such little regard for its staff is truly not worth joining and being humiliated by.

Only bad things.

Cons

The heads of the Marketing Department were more outrageous than one another. One person who understood nothing was put in charge, making communication impossible, while also concealing a great deal of important information. This led to serious duplication of work and wasted effort, after which subordinates were blamed for their communication skills? Sure enough, half the department left not long afterward. Then another manager came in who was just as outrageous. In addition to lacking professionalism and ability, they also ordered people to make coffee, open doors, and so on, as if they were an emperor? To protect themselves and consolidate their position, they could only rely on lies and putting others down to show how capable they were. With colleagues, they complained incessantly about the boss and the company, but behind their boss’s back they put on an entirely different face. Whenever there was a mistake, they pushed the blame onto those below them. Sure enough, it did not take long for the department to be ruined, even affecting colleagues in other departments. They were also dismissed. There was nothing but embarrassment, but unsurprisingly, what kind of boss produces what kind of manager.

Pros

The colleagues at the time were all great partners.

Cons

“How can someone who cannot even manage their own emotions manage employees?”

This was a remark that opened my eyes one day.

The only advantage here was meeting like-minded partners who fought alongside me (they should all be gone by now, haha), but I never encountered a capable leader.

An incompetent commander can destroy an entire unit without even going to war. No matter how many strong soldiers they have under them, if they do not know how to recognize and employ people effectively, making the most of each person’s strengths and talents, it is all for nothing.

Not long after I first joined, I discovered that no one in the department had been there for six months, and almost no one on the same floor had been there for a year. It was clear there must be a serious turnover problem. Sure enough, the problem lay with “people.”

It was truly an eye-opener. There were two people mainly responsible; birds of a feather flock together—one overt, the other covert.

The person in the management position could not control their temper, repeatedly handling emotions by breaking down in tears, flying into a rage, and interrogating others, or even taking it out on them. It happened so often—once a week—that it affected everyone around them, yet they were completely unaware of it.

As a manager, they could not provide assistance or solutions to problems, and would only say, “So what?”

That’s why you can’t retain any employees.

Please don’t come here only to be subjected to psychological abuse—unless you want to experience workplace PUA.

That manager from a certain department—right after arriving, they started aggressively creating division and conflict. Constantly complaining that the company and the boss were bad and influencing other people's work was already outrageous. Regardless of whether something was right or wrong, if it differed from their views, they would start making all sorts of underhanded moves behind the scenes, such as repeatedly calling people to the office next door or into small rooms to berate them, making a bunch of unfounded accusations, or continually making things difficult for them in their work. They would also say they could give you a raise when they liked you today, then a few days later say they might cut your salary instead of firing you, and then go behind your back to say all sorts of things to the boss. They would even call to harass people after work. Before long, almost everyone in the department had been replaced. What exactly were they hired for?

A very ridiculous company with extremely poor internal management!!! You are often required to do miscellaneous tasks outside your job duties. Even when something is clearly not your responsibility, you somehow end up getting blamed. The division of responsibilities is unclear, and the boss has a bad temper (there are two bosses, one man and one woman); they spend all day playing good cop and bad cop. A simple matter is often made complicated by the two of them, and after going around in circles, they push the blame onto you. An utterly bizarre company. I really recommend that everyone not come work here.

Cons

The actual job responsibilities differed from what was promised during the interview. You are expected to take on multiple roles and report to two bosses. In addition to both of them being very fond of making grand promises, they are also emotional when dealing with matters and have serious issues with personnel management. The head of one department is extremely emotional and likes to put on airs to cover up their incompetence. They often apply different standards to different matters, making it difficult for subordinates to work, and then shift the blame to them when problems arise. The turnover rate for planning, design, and administrative positions is quite high. The pay is low, while the work is plentiful, miscellaneous, and complicated. Even if you cannot find a job, do not waste your time coming here.

Pros

None at all

Cons

The organization is extremely immature. There are two bosses, each managing “many” departments, while the organizational chart is merely for show. Work objectives change from day to day, assignments are completely disorganized, and there is absolutely no logic to anything. They also love making grand promises and throwing tantrums, using their emotions to manage people. They threaten employees with their outbursts at the slightest provocation. What era are we living in? How can anyone still use such a foolish way to manage a company?

There are also a great many long-time employees, all with extremely poor abilities and attitudes. Nevertheless, they consider themselves shareholders and constantly pull rank based on their seniority. Whenever new employees join, they keep pushing work onto them, provide no guidance whatsoever, and leave them to fend for themselves. Then, after everything falls apart, they shift the blame onto the newcomers, saying that the newcomers did not understand the situation and that it was all their fault. This is hardly surprising—when those at the top set a bad example, those below follow suit.

There are also many unwritten rules when serving clients, and the two bosses apply double standards severely. All day long, they stage melodramatic scenes in the office—crying, making a fuss, and threatening drastic measures—and, to top it off, they take their anger out on employees. It is utterly baffling. Are we here to work or to watch a show?

If you simply want to cultivate your character or train yourself in patience, you can come here and give it a try. But if you want to have a normal job and work properly, I strongly advise you not to come.

Pros

I can't think of any.

Cons

Seeing all these negative reviews, I still don't know why I was foolish enough to want to try this place. I originally thought that, since the reviews were already three years old, things might have improved, but they haven't at all—the situation is even worse. Certain departments have extremely high turnover; the shortest stint lasted only two days. No one provides any guidance. When they finally said there would be training, they expected people to use their Saturdays to attend. Then, after I showed up, they asked, “What questions do you have?” Hello? Weren't you the ones who said there would be training?

No one knows how many promises the people before us made to clients. All I know is that clients are constantly saying, “The previous person promised me this.” The messes are impossible to clean up, and we also have to deal with the boss's volatile personality. By the end of every workday, I was physically and mentally exhausted and completely drained of motivation. The pay is mediocre, yet I was expected to do the work of three people by myself, including tasks I barely knew how to do and that no one taught me. Who is actually suited to work at this company? I think you'd be better off working at a convenience store than here.

Most colleagues are easy to get along with

Cons

A new manager joined the Marketing Department who speaks extremely loudly, seriously affecting other people's work. Shortly after arriving, at least four people left the department, indirectly affecting the work of other departments as well.

There is no such thing.

Cons

They dump work on you from your very first day. Basically, no one will teach you; you will only receive vague and unclear instructions. Your supervisor tells you to ask questions if you have any problems, but when you do, they still won’t tell you anything. Usually, all you get is a response that sounds angry for no apparent reason.

Almost all members of management have emotional-management issues. Shouting in the office or slamming doors is the norm. Although you eventually get used to this sort of thing, I sincerely hope that you, reading this, will not have to go through it.

Cons

The company favors emotionally charged communication, and everyone receives different information, making it difficult to carry out work. We also often end up doing work that is wasted or having to redo it.

The benefits package promised during the interview was changed repeatedly after I joined. Whenever the company’s interests are at risk, the policies are changed. Because the company has many partners who constrain one another, there are many things one can only tolerate, and it is fundamentally unclear whose instructions to follow.

The company takes advantage wherever it can when it comes to employees’ salaries and leave. During the interview, they said they followed the Labor Standards Act, but in reality there was no overtime pay, menstrual leave, etc.

Even when leaving the company, employees are hassled over their seven days of annual leave. They will only pay it out after the employee calls the Labor Bureau 🙂

Or they promise you a raise after three months, but when the time comes, they tell you that you didn’t pass the evaluation, so you can’t get a raise. You ask what the evaluation is? Sorry, this was my first time hearing about it too. QQ

Probably none

Cons

The relationships among company members are complicated. Supervisors verbally bully employees and engage in inappropriate physical contact, and the salary, benefits, and leave policies also differ from what was originally discussed.

People who can tolerate low pay, taking on multiple roles, and being treated this way by supervisors and colleagues may consider it.
