UI visual design. The interviewer was Huang XX. Before the interview, they made it sound incredibly impressive... Their head was full of ideas brainwashed by other companies, constantly pushing us to imitate Xiaohongshu and Douyin videos... They clearly didn't understand marketing. They described one set of responsibilities during the interview, but once I actually started working, it turned out to be something else entirely. The company website backend uses Squarespace, which they didn't mention at first, and when I started, no one provided any handover. I had to figure it out myself. They said we'd be taking photos, but the company didn't even have a camera—only a few broken light tents. They taught me to take photos with a phone. The only thing they kept saying was, "I know there are many problems, but people who can solve problems are more important." It's ridiculous. The company's hardware conditions were fundamentally inadequate from the start, yet they expected someone to come in and solve those inherent deficiencies. Absurd. They just kept telling people to imitate the layouts of CCD and other design companies. In practice, it was impossible to use them across various platforms... Absurdly, all they could do was take the rigid photos from other design companies and try to turn them into videos... Absolutely ridiculous.

UI visual design. The interviewer was Huang XX. Before the interview, they made everything sound fantastic, but their head was full of ideas imposed by competitors. They kept insisting on imitating Xiaohongshu and Douyin videos, while clearly not understanding marketing themselves. During the interview, they described one set of responsibilities, but once I actually started working, it turned out to be something entirely different. The company website backend uses Squarespace, which they did not mention at first, and no one provided any handover after I started. I had to figure it out myself. They said I would be taking photos, but the company did not even have a camera—only a few broken light tents. They told me to take photos with my phone. The only thing they kept saying was, “I know there are many problems, but people who can solve problems are more important.” It was really frustrating. The company’s hardware conditions were fundamentally inadequate from the outset, yet they expected someone to come in and fix those inherent deficiencies. Ridiculous. They only told people to keep imitating the layouts of other design companies’ CCD work, but in practice it was impossible to apply them across different platforms. It was laughable—they could only take other design companies’ stiff, static images and somehow try to turn them into videos. Absolutely ridiculous.

All they did was tell people to keep imitating the layouts of other design companies' CCD work. In practice, it was impossible to apply them across various platforms... The company website backend uses Squarespace, which they did not mention at first; after I started, no one provided any handover or training, so I had to figure it out myself. They said I would be taking photos, but the company did not even have a camera—only a few broken softboxes. They told me to use my phone to take photos. The only thing they kept saying was, "I know there are many problems, but people who can solve problems are more important." It was really damn annoying. The company was inherently lacking in hardware and expected someone to come in and fix those fundamental deficiencies. Ridiculous. All they could do was tell people to keep imitating the layouts of other design companies’ CCD work. In practice, it was simply impossible to apply this across various platforms... Ridiculous. They could only take those stiff, rigid photos from other design companies and somehow expect them to be turned into videos... Absolutely ridiculous.
