UI visual design. The interviewer was Huang XX. Before the interview, they made everything sound incredibly impressive... Their head was full of ideas influenced by competitors, constantly pushing us to imitate Xiaohongshu and Douyin videos... They themselves clearly didn't understand marketing. During the interview, they described one set of responsibilities, but once I actually started working, it turned out to be something entirely different. The company's website backend uses Squarespace, which they didn't mention at first, and after I started, no one provided any handover or training. I had to figure it out myself. They said we would take photos, but the company didn't even have a camera—only a few broken light tents. They taught me to take photos with a phone. The only thing they kept saying was, "I know there are many problems, but people who can solve problems are more important." It's ridiculous. The company was fundamentally lacking in hardware from the start, yet they expected someone to come in and fix those inherent deficiencies. Absurd. All they did was tell people to keep imitating the layouts of other design companies' CCD work. In practice, it was impossible to apply them across various platforms... It was laughable—they could only take the stiff, lifeless photos from other design companies and somehow try to turn them into videos... Utterly ridiculous.
