The person who conducted the interview was Huang XX. Before the interview, they made everything sound incredibly impressive, but their thinking was full of ideas imposed by competitors. They kept pushing us to imitate Xiaohongshu and Douyin videos, while they themselves clearly did not understand marketing. During the interview, they described the job one way, but once I actually started work, the reality was completely different. The website’s backend uses Squarespace, which they did not mention at first, and when I started, no one provided any handover. I had to figure everything out myself. They said we would take photos, but the company does not even have a camera—only a few broken shadowless lights. They teach you to take photos with a phone. The only thing they keep saying is, “I know there are many problems, but people who can solve problems are more important.” It’s ridiculous. The company’s hardware conditions were fundamentally inadequate from the start, yet they expected someone to come in and fix these inherent deficiencies. Laughable. All they know how to do is tell people to keep imitating CCD and other design companies’ layouts. In practice, it is impossible to apply them across various platforms. It is absurd—they can only take those rigid photos from other design companies and somehow expect them to become videos. Utterly laughable.
