The interviewer was absolutely terrible! What an awful experience!

I received an interview invitation from “悅以國際股份有限公司” through 104. When I arrived at the specified floor, I couldn’t find an office with that company name. Only after calling to ask did I find out it was the one with boxes piled up at the entrance, with no signage whatsoever.

After I entered and explained why I was there, a young, cute woman politely asked me to wait briefly at the entrance while she went to get someone. The gender-neutral-presenting woman who walked over with her was not wearing a mask, had a very unpleasant expression, and rudely told me to enter the meeting room she led me to. The meeting room was smaller than one of the individual restrooms in a metro station, filled with boxes and miscellaneous items, and the table was extremely dirty. Up to this point, I was still keeping my composure.

After waiting in the meeting room for about five minutes, a casually dressed woman with a side ponytail entered. Her hands were empty—she only had her phone—and she did not introduce herself at all. Her appearance and attitude did not seem like those of an interviewer!

I had brought my résumé, so I proactively handed it to her. This woman did not let me introduce myself at all; she simply looked at my résumé and asked the questions she wanted to ask, such as whether I could do planning and whether I could coordinate with KOLs. She asked only about five questions in total, and all of them were already answered on my résumé! After asking everything she wanted, she said, “Okay, we’ll probably notify you of the result in about a week.” I was dumbfounded. The whole process took less than five minutes, right?! And she did not explain the job responsibilities, the company’s benefits, or anything else!

I immediately asked about these things, but she only replied, “The job duties are the same as what’s written on 104. As for the benefits, ask HR when they call you,” and then hurriedly ushered me out!

So incredibly rude! The interview lasted only five minutes?! I came all the way from Taoyuan and spent time and transportation costs getting there, yet the interviewer treated it so casually! The worst part is that they were the ones who sent me the interview invitation! Did they not read my résumé at all?! What an awful experience!

After I left, the more I thought about it, the stranger it seemed! Before entering, when I called to ask for the company’s location, the phone recording identified the company as “品辰傳媒股份有限公司,” but the company that invited me to interview was “悅以國際股份有限公司.” I immediately Googled it and found that both are indeed located in the Huashi Building. Regardless, the main point is that the interviewer’s attitude was extremely poor! Absolutely terrible!
