The interviewer was absolutely terrible! Extremely incompetent!

I received an interview invitation from “Yueyi International Co., Ltd.” through 104. When I arrived at the listed floor, I couldn’t find an office with the company’s name. Only after calling to ask did I learn that it was the office with boxes piled up at the entrance; there was no signage whatsoever.

After I entered and explained why I was there, a young, cute woman politely asked me to wait briefly at the entrance while she went to get someone. The gender-neutral-looking woman who came over with her was not wearing a mask, had a very unpleasant expression, and rudely told me to enter the conference room she was leading me to. The conference room was smaller than an individual restroom stall in a metro station, and was piled high with boxes and miscellaneous items. The table was also extremely dirty. Up to this point, I was still keeping my composure.

After waiting in the conference room for about five minutes, a casually dressed woman with a side ponytail entered. Her hands were empty—she only brought her phone—and she did not introduce herself or state her role at all. Her appearance and attitude were completely unlike those of an interviewer!

I had brought my résumé, so I proactively handed it to her. This woman did not let me introduce myself at all; she simply looked at my résumé and asked the questions she wanted to ask, such as: “Can you do planning?” and “Can you coordinate with KOLs?” She asked only about five questions in total, and all of them were already answered on my résumé! After asking what she wanted to ask, she said, “Okay, we’ll notify you of the result in about a week.” I was stunned. The entire process took less than five minutes, right? Moreover, she did not explain the job responsibilities, company benefits, or anything else!

I immediately asked about them, but she only replied, “The job duties are the same as what’s written on 104. As for the benefits, ask HR when they call you,” and then hurriedly ushered me out!

So incredibly rude! An interview that lasted only five minutes?! I came all the way from Taoyuan and spent time and money on transportation, yet the interviewer treated it so casually! The most important point is that they were the ones who sent the interview invitation! Did they not read my résumé at all? Absolutely incompetent!

The more I thought about it after leaving, the more something felt wrong! Before entering, when I called to ask for the company’s location, the phone recording identified the company as “Pinchen Media Co., Ltd.,” but the company that invited me to the interview was “Yueyi International Co., Ltd.” I immediately Googled it and found that both were indeed located in the Huashi Building. Regardless, the main point is that the interviewer’s attitude was extremely awful! Absolutely terrible!
