Pros

There are absolutely no advantages.

Cons

I had been employed for less than a month. In February this year, the company invited me to an interview. At the time, I told them that I have gynecological problems and experience severe pain during my period—sometimes so severe that I need to go to the emergency room. I have also been receiving ongoing treatment in recent years. Because I was worried this might affect my work, I informed them in advance. In March, they notified me to report for work. On my first day, I again asked whether menstrual leave was provided in accordance with the Labor Standards Act and whether I needed to provide documentation. After working for two weeks, I took one day of menstrual leave, and the company dismissed me immediately that day, claiming that frequent absences might affect the company’s operations in the future. Seriously? I had only worked for two weeks and was dismissed immediately after taking one day of menstrual leave. This completely violates the Act of Gender Equality in Employment. The key point is that I had informed the company of my health condition in advance. The work environment was entirely dependent on the supervisor’s emotions and mood. To anyone considering applying to this company: please don’t waste your future and time! Look up more reviews and do your research so you don’t end up suffering in silence. When I was still employed there, quite a few people were inexplicably dismissed because of the supervisor’s emotional issues. Whether you did your work well or poorly depended not on your ability, but on the supervisor’s mood! The atmosphere throughout the entire company was so poor that it defies description!

I recently visited a department store in the Xinyi District and saw a senior part-time employee from a certain store. It suddenly reminded me that previously, whenever X創店 happened to sell products from this store, and this senior part-time employee happened to be working, if I asked them to help ship something or stamp a warranty card, they would say to the staff at the other stores: “Why should I help you ship it? Why do I have to do this for you? I’m busy. Don’t add to my workload. Handle it yourself. Tell the employees from the other stores to come pick it up themselves.” A part-time employee would even lecture employees from other stores. (I made several trips.)

Previously, when I came to provide support and the company had goods that needed to be shipped, the senior part-time employee would keep saying, “Why do I have to keep shipping goods for the company? The company should hire someone to do this. I’m just a store employee, and this isn’t my job!”

I even heard that when inventory had to be taken, that senior part-time employee did not want to do it and would say to the store employees:

“I’m not doing the inventory. The company is short-staffed anyway. Even if I don’t do the inventory or do any work, the company can’t do anything to me. I don’t need this job either.”

Then they would disappear and go shopping.

(I thought they were a senior part-time employee, but I was mistaken—apparently they were actually the big boss.)

Likewise, when I came to provide support, this senior part-time employee would repeatedly leave the counter to gossip with employees at other counters. Even after this was reported to the store manager, they just ignored it and nothing came of it.

Then, a few days later, people from other counters would come over and ask what had happened at the company, what your counter’s boss had said, and what your coworkers had done. This senior part-time employee would come over during work and tell them everything.

They would even ask people to proactively guess whether someone at our counter had a girlfriend.

Why do we need to know these things while working at our counter? Why are the people at your place so bored?

According to employees at the X創店 store, that senior part-time employee would spend the entire workday asking other people about their private matters whenever they were working.

For example, they previously asked people how much bonus they had received.

Once someone told them, they would immediately send a LINE message or screenshot and tell other colleagues:

“So-and-so received this much. How much did you receive?”

As long as they knew something, basically the whole world knew.

The work environment was good, and fortunately I eventually left. But when I think about how someone like this could exist, I still find it bizarre….

Pros

There’s a bidet toilet, as well as colleagues who are crazy.

A great place to level up.

Cons

After taking over from the previous employee, the accountant left. A former employee came back, and everything she does is an exact replica of the accountant’s behavior described by the previous new hire. If I didn’t know better, I’d think they were mother and daughter. If you work here, be careful not to get targeted by that colleague. She’s very good at running her mouth, but getting her to do anything is like asking her to give up her life. She can’t even do her own job properly and only reports minor things to the boss’s wife. Anyone who doesn’t know the situation might think she’s a princess. To be honest, she really does act like one—whenever you ask her to do something, her attitude is practically, “How dare you commoners order this princess around?” (She’s only an assistant, yet she spends work hours shopping online and binge-watching shows—a total wage thief.)

Most people at the company and in the stores detest her. We reported the situation to the boss, but it was ignored.

As a result, she meddles in everything, and some people have even lost their jobs because of her.

Here, if you can get on the boss’s good side, everything is easier to discuss; if not, it’s very difficult to work here.

The boss’s way of expressing himself is hard to understand. Ability is secondary here—the key is whether you can please the boss. With her around, the atmosphere becomes terrible.

Anyone considering joining should think twice. However, if you want to train yourself in how to deal with this kind of person, you’re more than welcome.

An accountant left; a returning colleague with the *same attributes* joined.

The general situation is probably not very different from everyone’s evaluations.

If you want to join… please make absolutely sure not to offend the returning colleague!

Your days will be a little easier…

Pros

Leaving work on time (or rather, very few people leave more than half an hour late)

Cons

The company places extremely little value on its talent. Although it has been established for nearly 20 years, even its longest-serving employees have not stayed for more than seven years. Regardless of how much specialized skill your position requires, the company considers anyone readily replaceable. If you resign or are laid off, you are quickly replaced, and there is no such thing as a handover; you have to learn the tricks of the trade yourself. The other employees are essentially all newcomers, and staff turnover is very frequent from month to month. There is no system or structure to speak of, and everything is done entirely according to the mood of the moment. Everyone should choose a company with proper systems in place for greater peace of mind and stability.

I only went for an interview. The first interview was with a woman, but as a woman herself, she showed no respect for women. She asked whether I would get married and have children. If I had children, then the company’s investment in training me would be wasted (I was absolutely stunned). There was also a second interview. I didn’t know any better back then and foolishly went to be humiliated because I really liked their products. This time, the owner humiliated me, asking in a very contemptuous tone, “How would you know these brands?” Then he just left, leaving me and that woman in an awkward situation. I’m truly grateful they didn’t hire me. Several months later, after I had already started working elsewhere, that woman called me and asked me to come work there? How many people does this company intend to make suffer? Everyone, please be careful.

Pros

No overtime (they will force you to leave work on time)

Cons

The company’s core team: the boss + the boss’s wife + the accountant (during the initial interview, they said the accountant was a relative of the boss; later, I heard from another colleague that this was not the case, so it remains a mystery)

【Pricing Everything at Retail】

At the end of every month, the entire warehouse is inventoried. If even one item is missing—even a small promotional freebie—employees have to compensate the company. Oh, right! Company policy is to charge employees the market price, not the cost price!

(This is merely describing compensation at the retail price during inventory checks; it does not mean that this company is the retailer “Original Price House.”)

【Ignoring the Labor Standards Act—If You Want to Stay, Just Admit It】

The salary received differs from what was discussed in the interview. Attendance bonuses are set at NT$3,000. After resignation, the attendance bonus is deducted in full. (This violates the Labor Standards Act and can be reported to the local competent authority.) In other words, even if you work an entire month before resigning, you still will not receive the NT$3,000 attendance bonus.

Even if you have relevant experience, the company only offers the minimum wage plus a NT$3,000 attendance bonus, and there will be no salary adjustment after three months. (This has been confirmed by multiple employees.) Sometimes, the salary received also differs from what is written on the payslip; only then do you discover that the accountant never updates the payslips—they are simply copied.

【Other People’s Matters Don’t Matter, but the Accountant’s Matters Do】

The accountant loves to pretend to be busy. Whenever you ask about something, she only talks about how busy she is and tells you to ask a supervisor or another colleague. However, if you do not ask the accountant first, she becomes unhappy.

If an employee does not prioritize and complete a task assigned by the accountant, the accountant will nag them and privately message the supervisor or other colleagues, exaggerating how outrageous the employee’s behavior is. She has a natural talent for [driving a wedge between people].

The microwave is restricted to heating lunch boxes only after 11:50. If you heat your lunch three to five minutes early, the accountant will rush out to lecture you and privately message the supervisor, asking the supervisor to deal with it properly. Yet at 11:50, the accountant is always the first person to use the microwave.

If a visitor rings the doorbell and no one greets them, or if the phone rings more than twice without being answered, the accountant will also rush out and start yelling.

【You Have to Do Everything, Big or Small—If You Don’t Do It, You’ll Be Replaced】

During the interview, they said the duties involved listing and delisting products, inventory management, banners, and checkout.

But there are an absurd number of platforms. Shopee alone has four stores, in addition to Yahoo Shopping order forwarding + store, momo order forwarding + store, PChome order forwarding + store, PChome Store Street, myfone, friDay, PayEasy, foodpanda, FamilyMart, 91APP’s official website, Man3de’s official website, and many more.

In particular, Store Street, foodpanda, FamilyMart, and 91APP receive almost no orders throughout the entire year, yet employees are still required to upload products frantically—wasting time on work that generates neither value nor efficiency.

The handover after starting work is also unclear. Tasks that were never mentioned somehow become things the employee supposedly failed to understand and complete. There are almost new products every week, an endless number of listings to create, and constant need to deal with sudden price adjustments and inventory-change notices from the boss or the boss’s wife. There is never enough time to finish everything each day, yet the boss’s wife always thinks employees are idle—even employees in the busiest positions are told they have nothing to do.

Often, a previous employee who resigned entered the wrong product name or item number, causing errors in subsequent procedures. However, the current employee is mistakenly blamed for being careless. If there were only a few products or platforms to manage, and enough time to check everything carefully, it might be possible to discover those small problems. But there is no such time, so current employees have to take the blame. You absolutely must not bring up the previous employee’s mistakes unless you want to be singled out.

The back-office platform assignments are often changed for no apparent reason. Employees never have enough time to become familiar with a platform, yet are expected to get up to speed immediately; even minor mistakes result in scolding. The boss’s wife’s classic line is: “I hired you because you are experienced people. I need you to help the company grow its performance, not come here to learn, so there is no adaptation period.”

【What Talent? We Want Servants!!】

The company places extremely little value on talent. Although it has been established for nearly 20 years, its longest-serving employee has worked there only a little over three years. Regardless of how many specialized skills your position requires, the company considers you replaceable by anyone. Once you submit your resignation or are dismissed, the company will make you leave as quickly as possible and will not let you return to the office. They will even pack up your personal belongings and tell you to come to the “Management Center” at a designated time to collect them. They show no respect for employees whatsoever. (I consulted a lawyer about this, and it is clearly illegal. I will subsequently file a complaint with the relevant authorities.)

【Not Seeing You Is My Final Act of Stubbornness】

Even when a resigning employee’s final day has not arrived, the company may suddenly notify them that they do not need to come to work the next day and call it “working from home.”

But this “working from home” does not mean that you can actually handle tasks remotely. You are expected to use your own computer to log in to the back ends of the platforms you manage, while the boss’s wife changes the passwords at lightning speed the night before and removes all the necessary permissions, instantly making it impossible for you to do anything. She simply says, “Just ask me for the information you need,” but the information provided is always wrong!

They will not even let employees delete their personal account passwords stored on the computer, saying only that they have asked someone else to delete them.

They also do not let employees responsibly complete the handover, leaving the remaining employees to clean up the mess and making them do the work of three people.

【Making You Rethink What Human Resources Does】

The company employs an HR person, but from joining the company to leaving it, I saw HR only twice. One of those times was to dismiss someone. I also never heard of any colleague having a meaningful conversation with HR. HR would even announce things that were completely unfounded, and colleagues who tried to verify them would be talked back to!

The following dialogue took place in my dream; any resemblance to actual events is purely coincidental.

◎HR: After receiving repeated reports from colleagues that certain people repeatedly eat in the meeting room during lunch breaks and make too much noise, and after the company asked them to lower their voices without seeing any improvement, effective immediately, eating and using the meeting room as a private resting area during lunch breaks is strictly prohibited except when the room is being used for meetings.

Colleague A: No one has ever reported that the meeting room was too loud. Where did these repeated reports come from?

◎HR: So what if no one reported it? Eating in the meeting room is prohibited, so it is prohibited. What does it matter to you who complained that eating was noisy? You disturb other people and still have the nerve to speak so loudly without feeling embarrassed?

Colleague B: We have never received any message or announcement saying that we need to be careful about or adjust the volume when eating in the meeting room, so can’t we verify the facts?

◎HR: So?

What incredible bureaucratic arrogance. I honestly no longer understand what the duties of an HR professional are supposed to be~

【One Country, Two Systems】

The boss will often say that an activity should follow Plan C, and then the boss’s wife will privately tell employees to change it to Plan D. The boss’s wife is also extremely changeable: she wants employees to propose ideas, but rejects them when they do. Or she will clearly approve Plan A, then suddenly demand a change to Plan B a few days later. Everything keeps changing back and forth.

Even if employees are extremely busy every day with the large volume of listing and delisting products, opening and closing inventory, and other miscellaneous tasks, the boss’s wife thinks they are doing nothing if they do not propose ideas to her. Even when employees do propose plans, they have to waste time explaining extremely basic matters because the boss’s wife is not familiar with how the platforms work.

Yet the boss’s wife monitors the platform’s images and text, checks whether prices are correct, and checks whether inventory is available every day. As soon as there is an error, she immediately asks the supervisor to scold the employee!

The boss’s wife does not praise good performance, but as soon as performance declines, she blames the employees.

★The company always believes that good business is solely due to the quality of the products it represents and has nothing to do with employees★

If the boss’s wife dislikes you or has any dissatisfaction with you, she will never tell you directly. She will only pretend to be nice, then ask the supervisor or accountant to deliberately find fault with you every day, creating a high-pressure atmosphere that makes every day extremely stressful.

The boss’s wife will also ask the supervisor to interview you and write an interview record that does not match the facts, then force you to sign it. They deliberately wait until just before the end of the workday to produce it and demand that you sign quickly, as if forcing an employee to confess to fabricated offenses!

【Special Uniforms】

From Monday to Thursday in summer, you have to wear a uniform; only Friday is casual-clothes day. The uniform is genuinely ugly—it looks like something worn on an assembly line or by construction workers. Once, I went to a 7-Eleven and ended up wearing the same thing as the construction workers outside.

【The Duty Roster: Reliving the Original Inspiration】

Every week, employees take turns being responsible for cleaning the toilets. Each week, 20 packs of toilet paper and five packs of paper towels must be placed in the restroom. Even if they sit there long enough to collect dust, they must be fully stocked; if they are not, you will be lectured.

If the spare individually wrapped toilet paper does not have the perforated opening torn open in advance, the accountant will privately message the supervisor to complain, as though failing to tear open the opening were an outrageous offense.

Only the accountant and sales staff do not have to clean the toilets. Also, if the boss drinks with friends on a holiday, employees have to clean the office for him on Monday. What wonderful personal servants.

【The Executive Summary】

1. The salary structure is base salary + attendance bonus (NT$3,000) + shipping bonus (some positions may not have one) + position allowance (usually when someone resigns, the company adds NT$3,000 and asks you to do NT$30,000 worth of work).

2. Eating breakfast after arriving at the company is prohibited.

3. There is absolutely no promotion system. Your salary will not be adjusted even after three months. If you want a raise, you must follow these two rules: NO. 1: Do not offend the accountant, or she will use her talent to make the boss’s wife target you. NO. 2: Try your hardest to please the boss’s wife; as long as she likes you, your raise can come as quickly as you want.

4. At the end of every month, the entire warehouse is inventoried. If even one item is missing—even a small promotional freebie—employees have to compensate the company. Oh, right! Company policy is to charge employees the market price, not the cost price!

5. The company ignores the Labor Standards Act. Previously, employees who resigned had their attendance bonuses deducted; in reality, they should be paid proportionally according to the number of days they worked during the month of resignation.

6. As soon as the company knows an employee plans to resign, it will very quickly find someone—anyone—to handle the handover. It will not let the employee responsibly complete the handover, leaving the remaining employees to clean up the mess and making them do the work of three people.

7. The actual responsibilities do not match the job description shown on the recruitment website. Anyone considering an interview or joining should first check online reviews and think very carefully before proceeding!

The position I applied for was clearly an e-commerce assistant. During the interview, they said the work would involve listing and delisting products, inventory control, checkout, and similar tasks.

The HR representative (accountant) said that, based on my résumé, I should already be familiar with those back-end systems and that the actual duties would not differ too much. They said everyone was easy to get along with,

that employees worked regular hours and the company rarely required overtime. Later, I understood why they rarely required overtime: everyone wanted to escape at the end of the workday and did not want to stay any longer.

They also said that salary adjustments would be considered based on performance after completing the probationary period, but the starting salary was extremely low.

The perfect-attendance bonus was NT$3,000, but taking even one day off meant losing the entire amount. In addition to the job duties, employees also had to take turns serving as the duty person.

In summer, uniforms were required Monday through Thursday, while Friday was casual-clothing day. The entire company was filled with the smell of cheap air freshener, and during the interview it was already enough to make me feel woozy...

Everything sounded very good on the surface, but after actually starting work, I found the company unbearably cold. Very few people spoke during working hours,

and even when they did, they spoke extremely quietly. Later, after indirectly asking around, I learned that there were surveillance cameras everywhere in the company,

and the owner's wife holed up in her own little room monitoring everything....

At the beginning, they said the position was an e-commerce assistant, but the actual duties were already at the level of a business development specialist or PM in a "normal" company.

You had to approach e-commerce PMs yourself to propose deals, control prices and quantities, and submit procurement requests to the company yourself when product inventory was insufficient.

Dealing with these duties on a daily basis was already enough to give you a headache, because one person was responsible for more than one platform.

If they thought you had too few platforms, they would keep adding more to your workload, without caring whether you knew how to use the back-end systems.

You also had to constantly deal with sudden price adjustments and inventory-change notices from the company owner.

On top of that, you had to perform the duty person's tasks, especially cleaning the restrooms..... The unlucky ones also had to help operate the main switchboard.

Whoever answered the doorbell had to receive the visitor, and if the phone went unanswered for too long, the accountant would rush out and berate you....

On the surface, they put it nicely, saying they hoped employees could handle the entire process from start to finish, so they could better understand and manage the platforms they were responsible for.

But with salaries like these, they had the nerve to claim they were the highest in the industry. Maybe HR should have done some research into the salaries offered by e-commerce companies!

Your professional skills should not be worn down at a company like this. The duties offer no room for professional growth,

and your time and personal career planning should not be wasted at a company like this banana company. This is truly a company with an unbelievable amount of nonsense.

Friends considering applying or working there should Google the company's reputation first!

1. Basically, store staff get bonuses, but you may not necessarily receive them.

2. Come here if you want to slack off or have no plans.

3. The company gives you unappetizing gifts for the three major holidays.

4. The boss gives you scratch-off lottery tickets for the Lunar New Year.

5. You may occasionally meet customers who are more educational than the boss or the boss's wife.

Cons

If you are reading this, it means you have doubts about this company. So, as the person who has worked the longest at one of this company's stores, let me tell you.

1. Don't waste your life. This is a company with no clear rules. Benefits and punishments all depend on the boss's personal mood, and “orders changing overnight” is a perfect description.

Here is an example: Although there appear to be several rules at the store where I work, no one strictly enforces them. Even when there is a shortage in the cash register and a fine is imposed, the coworker who makes the biggest fuss gets preferential treatment—the fine is actually returned? What kind of rule is that? If there is no punishment today, naturally there is no reward. Don't think this company will give you anything just because you have made great contributions. The conclusion is that you will leave empty-handed and learn nothing.

2. Once you join this store, you will have endless work to do, with equal pay for unequal work.

Let me talk about the store staff. Everyone schemes to get those bonuses worth a few hundred dollars, while the bonus system is changed again and again, and no one is willing to unite. So they can only frame one another, gossip, and curse each other. You may ask whether I have cursed at people. Of course I have! For example, I have two coworkers who have been here for half a year and still cannot even enter simple computer-processed work documents. What do you think they do during their shifts? They gossip, curse at others, watch baseball, watch shows, and play mahjong.

3. The atmosphere at the store is bad, and the company's internal environment is even more frightening. All I can say is that I admire how calculating the boss's wife is—you cannot see how dark people's hearts can be! I often ask questions that former good coworkers did not dare to ask. Guess what they are. For example: Are hourly wages being adjusted? Can we take our annual leave now? What about overtime pay? Is there an annual bonus? Don't doubt it: you will not be told about these simple questions that can be answered by looking up the Labor Standards Act unless you ask yourself!

1) One coworker who joined at the same time as me was hired at an hourly wage of 130. The company only paid her 120 for the first three months. I repeatedly urged her to ask about her rights. The company replied, “You get what was stated; it will be adjusted next month. The company adjusts wages every three months.” But everyone else who joined at the same time was already earning 140 per hour, and she was only then raised to 130.

2) One month, there was a staff shortage, so I had one fewer day off and worked countless hours of overtime for the store. You may ask why my coworkers did not help share the early and late shifts. I will tell you why: no one wanted to lose a day off. Don't doubt it—no one! I asked whether I would receive overtime pay for working a full day of overtime. The boss's wife replied, “For now, the company mainly provides compensatory leave. We cannot let you exchange it for overtime pay. Please use up the compensatory leave by the end of the year.” I asked why it could not be exchanged for overtime pay. The answer was simply that the company had no such plan.

3) You will not receive an annual bonus at this company. Whether you get one depends on the company's assessment of your annual contribution (basically, they give you a 2,000 red envelope for the New Year). When I asked when we would know, the company replied, “We will not short you what you deserve. You are asking too many questions now. We don't know when it can be confirmed.”

Do you now understand how speechless this company can leave you?

4. The accountant cannot tolerate or forgive anyone else's mistakes, but whenever she makes an oversight or omission, she begins describing at length how hard and exhausted she is, while making the store staff constantly remind her about the same things. If you want to come here, prepare 200% patience and come to work with your health bar completely full, or you will quickly be the first one killed.

5. I don't know whether the boss's wife uses sowing discord as a tactic or a skill. She does not allow you to ask too many questions or know too much; whatever she says goes. If you accidentally get on her bad side, she will do everything possible to get rid of you—not fire you, but “threaten” you into resigning voluntarily. She will blow things up, and of course, as ordinary employees concerned about our résumés and futures, are we really likely to pick a fight with her?

6. Don't think working at the store is easy. You cannot truly open up to your coworkers! Everyone acts in their own interests. We work in a department store, so besides selling, we also have to organize things. But apart from selling, no one is willing to organize anything. Several coworkers over 30 think they are the senior figures, and no one will pay attention when you say something needs to be organized or cleaned. Do it yourself!!

7. Store staff bring family members (girlfriends) to the counter to keep them company during their shifts. You may ask, “What's wrong with that?” Of course it is allowed, but a coworker's girlfriend sits in the only chair all day; the trash from everything she eats all day is piled up in the trash can and left there without being thrown away; she blocks the counter and helps receive customers. Don't doubt it—you will feel like a junior assistant rather than a store employee, with no respect.

8. Next, watch what you say and do. There are several audio-recording surveillance cameras at the store that are as clear as a reality show. The boss's wife also has loyal informants who will report on you. “Watch what you say and do”—those four words are a motto here!!

9. You may say I am repaying resentment with resentment. I am not, because this is a company that would not help you even if you put it on your résumé, so I choose not to list it.

10. Don't go to the boss about everything. He will reply, “Solve it yourself; just discuss it and reach an agreement.” What will she help you with? He only wants you to make money for the company.

11. Once you are hired, don't think you are joining a company where you will be well taken care of. Once you are targeted, you may be fired just for asking for leave. For the sake of your future, don't leave your youth blank here—or where do you think all these bad reviews come from?

Pros

A two-day weekend, I guess.

Cons

There was a national holiday makeup day, and they simply said that no one needed to work, but the entire company had to use one day of annual leave, including new employees. They did not ask anyone at all—they simply handed us a form to sign. It also said that if an employee had worked for less than six months and resigned, their monthly salary would immediately be deducted by one perfect-attendance bonus plus one day’s wages. In other words, taking personal leave that day would result in a deduction.

This is a company that constantly changes its policies. Everything is done according to the boss’s wife’s wishes, and the boss does not dare say much. As long as you upset her, she will find a way to have her loyal subordinates target you. It feels like the boss and his wife do not have a good relationship, so they do not communicate much with each other. When the boss’s wife holds a meeting, the boss is absent; when the boss holds a meeting, his wife is absent. As a result, the two of them say different things, and situations often arise where no one knows what to do.

If you apply for an assistant position, be mentally prepared: you are basically a gofer. You are not allowed to have your own assignments; you must prioritize other people’s work. The same applies to tasks assigned by the boss—you still have to prioritize other people’s work, because the boss’s wife says the boss may not necessarily know what is currently important to the company, so you must prioritize what others tell you to do. But when you go to do someone else’s work, someone else will come and question why you have not done the boss’s work. If you tell them you do not have time and will handle it tomorrow, the boss will actually respond, “You can’t say you don’t have time. That’s something a delivery worker would say.” Working in sales here is no different from being a delivery worker. External errands take priority over actual sales work. Deliveries are something you have to do every day and are a major part of the job, which is completely different from what they initially said—that you might occasionally need to make deliveries.

People are constantly leaving the company, or being fired by the boss’s wife, which causes everyone’s workload to increase. She then started saying that everyone had to be versatile and could not only do the work associated with their own position. Then what is the point of having separate positions? Since I happened to have studied design, I was asked to also do graphic design work, and they said we would discuss my salary later. We never discussed it at all. In the end, it simply became part of my job, while she conveniently saved on labor costs.

The company also operates its own retail stores. The stores hire more part-time workers than full-time employees. The stores have bonuses, but the way the bonuses are paid is constantly adjusted. It is very obvious that they do not want people to receive them. As for bonuses within the company, there is even less to say. Some people have worked there for several years without ever seeing anyone receive a bonus. Isn’t this just setting the standards so high that no one can get a bonus, and then saying that you are not working hard enough?

The boss’s wife’s right-hand person is the accountant, someone whose way of speaking makes you very uncomfortable. You absolutely cannot interfere with her work, or she will keep bothering you. But she feels entitled to constantly order you around, because the boss’s wife has her back. In any case, once you join this company, pay attention to who is on the boss’s wife’s side and keep your distance. Otherwise, they will constantly report on you behind your back.

In short, it was not a good work experience. Seven people resigned within less than three months. Think carefully before joining.

Pros

Anyone who wants to slack off can work for this company. No skills are required; it’s work that anyone with experience can do.

Cons

1. The boss’s wife doesn’t keep her word. She asked me to do additional tasks and said she would pay me extra. I did them, but in the end she pretended it never happened.

2. Work assignments change every day depending on the boss’s wife’s mood.

3. If you raise concerns or problems at work, not only are you shown no respect, but they immediately try to find a way to get rid of you.

4. Whenever even a minor issue occurs, they hold a meeting and immediately change your job responsibilities.

5. The bonus system keeps changing—the goal is clearly to find every possible way to prevent you from receiving a bonus.

6. The atmosphere within the company is extremely poor. It’s bad enough that employees scheme against one another, but the ringleader is the boss’s wife. What can you do?

7. You have to do whatever the accountant tells you to do. They even made me run from the store back to the office just to remove a staple from an invoice.

I sincerely hope everyone avoids applying to this company and doesn’t become another victim.

Pros

1. They tell all employees that salaries are determined according to company policy, yet new employees’ base salaries are higher than those of their supervisors.

2. The assignments for sweeping and other duties are changed almost once a week.

3. Employees are expected to work overtime voluntarily (without overtime pay) when they cannot finish their work, yet they are still driven out of the company.

4. Each department is under performance pressure, but there are no performance bonuses.

5. The company has only 1X employees, yet the divisions are extremely severe, creating a tense and antagonistic atmosphere in which employees suspect and scheme against one another.

6. Inventory counts are never updated promptly, and the inventory figures have never been accurate.

7. During meeting discussions, superiors never take employees’ concerns seriously. Even when employees genuinely want to make improvements, superiors view it as deliberately targeting them.

8. There is no one internally from whom to learn. If you seek career growth, you have to rely entirely on yourself.

9. There is no room for promotion or salary increases.

10. Whenever there is a disagreement, they immediately start interviewing new employees. The pressure at work is extremely high every day.

Pros

The work environment is extremely poor. The owner's wife is constantly sowing discord, and job responsibilities are changed every day without prior notice; instead, they are announced directly in meetings, making it impossible to ever become familiar with the work at hand.

It is a company with an extremely dysfunctional internal environment and chaotic processes, where policies and decisions change from day to day according to the owner's wife's whims.
