Pros

The office is next to the Shin Kong Building, so I guess employees’ salaries all go toward paying the rent. On top of that, they didn’t even offer a glass of water during the interview.

Cons

This company’s reputation is just like what you see online here. The interview included nearly an hour of logic questions; for this kind of test, at most five similar questions would have been enough. They ask for top talent and English fluency, then offer a little over 30,000? Judging by appearances, the employees inside are all very young. It feels like the company wants to use cheap labor and is also afraid that people will learn from them. The questions asked during the HR interview were all quite normal and okay, but the interview with the boss was ridiculous. They asked some completely nonsensical questions, such as whether I would take the company’s stationery home??? (Who would admit to taking it if they did???) and what I would do if I won the lottery??? (Why not wait until you win before thinking about these questions???) They kept asking psychological questions that they thought could reveal someone’s character. The main point is, how much are you offering? 50,000 to 100,000??? This kind of boss wants someone inexpensive who is also top talent and can do everything, while seeming very afraid that the person will learn from them. Please—if you pay peanuts, you get monkeys. Just a lousy boss who only pays low wages.

Pros

There are no advantages. Policies change on a whim, so employees have no standards to refer to or follow. Not providing lunch would be one thing, but even when employees have to work overtime after their shifts, they are only given a few cents as a meal allowance. They also require employees who continue working overtime after their shifts to go two consecutive hours without eating. Especially when shipment volumes are high, everyone becomes exhausted and lacks the energy to work, and employees have even fallen ill as a result. The company then simply tells them to resign, displaying a completely cold-blooded and utterly uncompassionate attitude.

This is especially concerning for a food industry company: many products and aspects of the environment do not comply with regulations. The environment is dirty and chaotic, rats are rampant, and expiration dates on products are altered. These are all shameless and unethical practices. I recommend not going to the interview. Employee turnover is very high—five people have left within two months. Would a company that values talent and cares about its employees operate this way?

Cons

The warehouse environment is unsanitary and dirty, and employees are told to do a lot of illegal things. The drawback is that there are absolutely no advantages whatsoever!

Pros

It seems there are none.

Cons

I really suggest that anyone considering interviewing here should not waste their time.

They say you have no relevant experience, then invite you to an interview only to criticize you in all sorts of ways.

Hello, I came for an interview, not to be humiliated by you.

And then they say things like that self-righteous “sense of justice” nonsense.

In the end, they waste a lot of time. I really don’t know why they invite people in at all.

The conversation also made me uncomfortable.

If you’re not seriously intending to conduct an interview, then please stop wasting everyone’s time.

Pros

The boss was very NICE during the interview, but....

My impression of the colleagues was also very good, but...

Cons

Putting aside why the product images have a strange background pattern—perhaps it’s just a special preference.

And putting aside the fact that there were only 7 colleagues when I joined, along with the pile of company regulations you had to sign (from May or June 2021 to July 2022),

which were filled with names (more than 50 in total), almost like ancestral tablets, telling you that nearly 40 people could leave this company within a year.

One of the current employees had only just joined a month earlier, and hadn’t even had time to warm their chair.

No one handed over the duties. As soon as you join, the boss only tells you that you need results. The only direction is “be as big as Nestlé, results, results, results.”

When discussing how to do things with the boss, he only says: “You’re getting too detailed. I want results, results, results.”

When raising questions with the boss, there is absolutely no direction or answer.

Just asking about the previous advertising spend (only NT$10,000 a month) made the boss feel that you were insulting him.

“Don’t think you were that professional before. Once you come here, you’re my employee. Are you asking those questions to show how professional you are and belittle me?”

In just half a day, I experienced the boss’s godlike admonishment. Truly unforgettable.

What the boss wants is someone who doesn’t speak, has no opinions, and treats him as the one and only god.

What the boss wants is someone who, no matter how professional they are, lets his opinions override everything.

What the boss wants is someone who does not communicate with other colleagues and forms a team alone.

What the boss wants is someone who can endure unreasonable abuse and disrespect for their professional expertise.

I don’t know whether what he wants is a “person.” At the time, I only felt that in his eyes, I was a dog lured in by a salary.

Thank you, boss, for trampling on my professional expertise, destroying my expectations, spitting on my dignity, and wasting my time.

And I, after only half a day, chose to turn myself into one of the many names on those ancestral tablets, in gratitude for the opportunity that the boss gave me by hiring me.

My only regret is that, unfortunately, I didn’t get to experience what so many predecessors had described....

The exhilaration of being fired by the boss for no reason.

Pros

1. Colleagues are easy to get along with

2. Intensive crash course in operating a large number of shopping platforms

3. During my employment, I got to hear about the work experiences of many interviewees

(Hearing about two in a day was sometimes no problem)

4. Fortunately, I no longer work at that company

Cons

Without even mentioning how big the promises the boss made during interviews were, the company’s official explanation for former employees leaving or being laid off was always that it was “cleaning out deviants from the company.”

1. The atmosphere throughout the company was unbearably stifling, with almost no sense of cohesion and everyone constantly on edge. To put it bluntly, the company operated according to whatever the boss said. Any suggestions were merely suggestions; only the boss’s words counted as professional.

2. Company rules prohibited coworkers from having personal relationships, and even work-related discussions were subject to scrutiny. They even said that we did not have the authority to do so. If we weren’t supposed to discuss things, were we expected to communicate through psychic powers or telepathy? Even calling the factory to ask about insufficient product quantities would get us criticized for not being supposed to communicate with the factory. Seriously.

3. Basically, the boss held all kinds of authority. Everything, big or small, had to be reported to him (reporting was probably just about giving him a sense of security and the feeling that the company was still in his hands), and then we also had to waste time listening to him tell all sorts of little stories and grand principles.

4. All kinds of decisions, big or small, had to be discussed with the boss, but in the end, he would often give you a pile of useless principles and seemingly reasonable but ambiguous answers. Ultimately, you still had to make the decision yourself.

5. The boss was very poor at managing his emotions and would often take his frustrations out on employees for no apparent reason. Then, after calming down, he would put on a show of caring for and looking after the employees.

Pros

I used to wonder why there were so many negative reviews. Now, as an employee who has just been laid off, I can speak up.

One advantage is that they are willing to give newcomers a chance. On the other hand, hiring newcomers also saves money for the company. Before I joined, they said that because I had no experience, they would cut my salary by 1,000.

Because the boss is afraid of company data being leaked, working from home is not allowed—if that counts as a benefit.

Cons

The boss is paranoid. The reason I was laid off was actually because I was too close to someone he wanted to fire. He said that this was making me unhappy at work and told me to leave. Afterwards, he told the employees that I had resigned voluntarily?? The boss wants a pleasant office atmosphere, but is also afraid that you will form cliques. Please think carefully before joining. The salary really is not high, and there is not much room for advancement.

Pros

The colleagues are easy to get along with.

Cons

I had already seen this before starting work, but I still came to work with an objective mindset. After working for a few months, I found that every word in the following review was true. Friends who are considering working or interviewing here, please use your own judgment!

Pros

The colleagues are quite pleasant to work with.

Cons

The boss focuses on how to defeat others when running the company, rather than making further improvements internally. The company has an extremely high turnover rate, and the boss lets emotions do the talking. Sometimes they make self-important remarks without realizing it, leaving employees with no choice but to laugh it off! Dreaming is beautiful—keep dreaming! To be honest, if this continues, this company is destined to be eliminated from the market!

Cons

The boss is far too good at painting grand visions. He daydreams all day, every day. He wants to enter other fields—truly a pipe dream. Every day, he calls a whole bunch of people in for interviews.

I advise everyone to look at more reviews online.

The boss makes emotional remarks, pretends to understand things he doesn’t, and doesn’t respect expertise. He really likes using metaphorical stories to mock people, with a self-righteous attitude. The boss may not even know very much about the tea field.

Pros

Immersive experience; every word is true.

There are no advantages to speak of.

Cons

The turnover rate is through the roof: more than 20 people left within three months. Anyone coming for an interview should think twice.

Newcomers have no idea how to learn during the early stages of the job. The boss assigns other colleagues to help, but they basically just go through the motions, leaving you without any direction in your initial learning period.

The boss makes emotional remarks, pretends to understand things they do not, shows no respect for professional expertise, and loves using metaphorical stories to make sarcastic digs at people.

You are assigned Task A for today, Task B for tomorrow, and Task C for the day after tomorrow, but then you are asked where Task A is at. That is when you realize that you have spent all your time on future tasks. You can never finish the previous tasks, yet the boss expects results within an extremely short time.

The boss’s forceful opinions make you feel constrained in both planning and execution.

Pros

Two days off per week, occasional opportunities to leave work early, high-end commercial office building

Cons

1. Coworkers are not very willing to solve problems or discuss things together. The office atmosphere is cold and indifferent, and everyone only cares about themselves.

2. During the initial period after new employees start working, they are not told how to learn. Even if the boss assigns another coworker to assist you, they basically just go through the motions, leaving you without any direction in your early learning.

3. During the initial period after new employees start work, they are not introduced to all the coworkers. The environment feels very unfamiliar at first; if you want to know your coworkers’ names, you have to ask them yourself.

4. The boss will not let you first become familiar with the company’s products. Instead, you are expected to do what the boss wants right from the beginning. You will be criticized after working for only a short time without any learning direction or understanding. If the boss thinks your performance is poor, they will find someone else to replace you.

5. The position I held was Cross-Border E-Commerce Marketing Planner. Basically, it is a perpetually open position: as long as they feel your performance is inappropriate, they can simply bring someone else in to replace you.

Summary: The boss does not care about new employees and only cares whether they get what they want. There is very little conversation among coworkers, and the atmosphere is exceptionally cold and indifferent. New employees receive no consideration whatsoever, which will leave you extremely directionless when you first join. I strongly advise everyone against applying for a job here.

Pros

Cons

1. High employee turnover and inadequate handovers; one person is expected to do the work of several people and also handle the boss’s personal affairs.

2. Colleagues have no sense of solidarity and are unwilling to work together to solve problems, creating a cold atmosphere.

3. The boss’s mood fluctuates greatly and they call people outside working hours to lecture them, talking incessantly simply to vent their emotions.

4. The boss’s pay does not align with prevailing market salaries, using low wages to recruit talent while continuing to look for better options (living in their own world?).

5. The boss is eager for recognition and acts hastily, privately criticizing former employees in front of newcomers while simultaneously criticizing newcomers who are about to leave in front of former employees.

I resigned after working there for two weeks, and the boss did not pay my wages proportionally (even though I was still in the probationary period), which clearly violated the Labor Standards Act. Since I did not want any further dealings with this company (or this boss), I let the matter go. I only hope that job seekers who see this review will not waste any more time interviewing or working at this company.

Pros

It’s a small company with around 10 employees, reporting directly to the boss, Mike, and his wife. Simply put, they add some dried fruit to tea leaves or make minor variations, repackage them, and resell them.

All I can say is that the boss is terrible at judging people. The hiring rate is high, but if he doesn’t like you, he’ll directly ask you to leave, so the turnover rate is also high. (Around 10 or more people left within about half a year, for everyone’s reference.)

The boss himself is extremely unpleasant. Not only does he love lecturing people, after reprimanding you, he’ll ask whether you understand or not. If you try to argue back, you’ll be dismissed a few days later, haha.

As for the boss’s wife, she’s even worse. Her management skills are very poor. Departments even have to hide information from one another because they’re afraid others will learn what they do. In short, this is an absolutely terrible company. I strongly advise against applying for a job here; honestly, don’t even come for an interview—it’s a waste of time!!!

Pros

Two days off per week, and the company building is quite upscale.

Cons

1. The actual office is not very large, and the overall atmosphere is a bit strange.

It feels like too much conversation is discouraged, so everyone comes across as keeping to themselves.

2. There is only a 7-Eleven downstairs from the company, so those who commute by bus should think twice.

3. Work performance starts being reviewed after only a very short period of time.

If you are not very familiar with retail stores and platform systems, it is not particularly recommended.

4. The information the company provides to employees is not transparent, which makes planning and execution difficult.

5. Turnover is fairly high.

The boss is prone to emotional remarks, and there is a considerable amount of internal staff turnover. The promises are always greatly exaggerated, but the products are only so-so. Having overly high expectations will only lead to more messy, trivial matters.
