Punctual working hours; the colleagues in the department are very nice.
Neither the PMs nor the department-level managers have technical backgrounds, so when they communicate requirements, they often view things purely from a business perspective. Whether something is technically feasible and how much time it will take usually has to be judged by the engineers themselves, after which they have to explain it to them.
Most of the time, they don’t mention their ideas at the beginning and say, “You R&D people decide.” Then, once it’s finally built, they complain that it doesn’t match what they had in mind, putting on a very reluctant “Fine, if this is how you want to do it, I can only accept it” attitude. (Hello, are we supposed to read minds? If you don’t say anything, how are we supposed to know that you like curry to taste like shit? 😍)
The communication cost is extremely high. You have to write code while spending time translating “technical language into non-technical language.”
The PMs don’t write any documentation. They keep telling us to inspect the logic and investigate the issues. Once would be understandable, but they repeatedly ask the same questions—and different people come asking each time. Can’t they sync internally even once?
Their awareness is very low and their inferiority complexes are strong, making communication exhausting: you state facts, but they hear emotions; you analyze the structure, but they think you’re insulting them.
In the end, we would all rather remain silent, because trying to wake up someone incapable of self-reflection is futile in itself. As a result, many systems ultimately go further and further off course 🙈
When discussing issues, they often don’t listen to the facts from beginning to end; they are merely defending their own emotional positions. Emotions always outweigh the truth, and positions always override logic. Even more frighteningly, they band together and feed one another’s paranoia.
The more rational you are, the more they think you’re cold. You’ll find that you’re not communicating with people—you’re fighting against their defense systems.
What’s truly frightening about this group isn’t “ignorance,” but “confident ignorance”!!!
If you unfortunately end up joining this company, my advice is: don’t get entangled, don’t try to educate them, and don’t insist on reaching a consensus.
Remember, you’re not a saint. Do as much work as you’re paid for. Doing nothing means making no mistakes; doing more means making more mistakes.

Regular working hours
Think carefully before joining the Information Technology Department, because the PM team you will be working with as a whole lacks an IT background and does not have a habit of proactively learning technical knowledge. This frequently leads to misunderstandings and information gaps when communicating with the Development Department. PMs often act merely as messengers without clarifying the underlying issues. Many problems that are actually caused by user error or operational oversights, and are not development-related, cannot be handled independently and are instead passed directly to the Development Department, seriously wasting technical resources.
If you can produce results, you can get paid accordingly.
It's a good place if you're sufficiently submissive.
Either works—this is your ideal destination.
They treat customers like suckers to be fleeced.
This is what I find most objectionable.
They also use expired ampoules (I don't know where they came from) to perform single-session treatments for customers,
and they're the expensive collagen-infusion type that customers have to pay for.
If you raise an opinion or question, management will say you're making a fuss.
Regarding products with performance-based commission multipliers, they'll say they're under no obligation to give you such a high commission.
Yet I was only asking about the gift-with-purchase promotion and the regular commission.
They just kept giving me the runaround instead of answering.
Also, because the clock-in system is tablet software,
your pay will be docked for unexplained absences from time to time.
Who checks those attendance records every day?
Are they sick?
Every day, they expect you to stuff customers in and sell facial treatments.
Then they delay your leaving time without paying overtime.
That in itself wouldn't necessarily be a problem; the main issue is that the company doesn't recognize people who put in real effort.
The supervisor is very rude, and so is Finance.
You ask a question and they get aggressive, as if I owed them a fortune.

The following is based on personal experience and is for reference only.
1. Far too many group chats: When I left, I exited more than 30 groups.
2. After the boss became obsessed with badminton, the occasional department dinners and team-building benefits from earlier on were all replaced with mandatory badminton classes:
The badminton center was extremely remote and had no public transportation, so employees had to pay for their own transportation there and back.
3. If the work schedule falls on a holiday, you still have to complete it on the holiday—there is essentially no such thing as a holiday break.
4. Senior management believes that not working overtime means you are not working seriously.
5. Replacing staff is extremely slow: For at least two years, one person had to handle more than two people's workloads. The additional duty allowance during that period was only a few thousand, and it was reduced later even though the workload increased rather than decreased.
6. Salary adjustments always go to the same fixed group of people: There is a rule specifying the proportion of employees in each department who can receive a raise, but you will never be among them.
One supervisor arrives late, leaves early, watches videos and comics, monitors their own surveillance cameras, and so on, yet still receives an attendance score of over 90 every year and qualifies for a raise.
7. Rules that have been agreed upon are said to be strictly enforced this second to improve work efficiency; the next second, after the sales department says a few words to lobby for changes, anything goes again.
8. A certain department head is extremely meddlesome and finds fault with every department in the company.
9. Continuing from the previous point, the supervisor tends to speak loudly and often makes indirect, sarcastic remarks. “I don't understand—what's so difficult? Isn't this basic?” is a catchphrase.
10. The starting salary is below the market rate.
The boss is as changeable as the speed of light, which can train your ability to respond to changing circumstances.
A bunch of managers are unwilling to use their brains to remember things, which can train your patience in repeatedly guiding managers through procedures.
The boss and many senior managers flaunt their authority arrogantly, which can train you in how to handle situations appropriately.
The negative reviews above are truly very accurate.
The company is really good at creating the image of a happy workplace.
The benefits section on 104 is extremely long, the photos make it look like there are many team-building activities, and the environment is beautiful.
But the overall quality of the employees is very poor.
After the head office moved to Xindian, it was reported by other companies for creating a dirty and disorderly public environment.
Even in the old office area, it had already been reported several times by the woman responsible for cleaning the building’s trash.
The benefits and compensation are poor.
The gift money for each of the three major holidays is less than NT$1,000.
One year, around the Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival, they even sent out a survey asking whether people wanted the gift money or wanted to exchange it for masks and scented clips (speechless).
Salaries are not necessarily adjusted every year; it depends on the annual performance review.
But because there seems to be a rule regarding the proportion of employees in each department who can receive a raise,
managers always give high scores only to the employees they like.
As long as you know how to curry favor with your manager, even people who slack off every day can get a raise every year.
The culture of flattery in this company is extremely, extremely prevalent.
The boss himself enjoys having people curry favor with him and is also very arrogant.
However, this company’s name recognition among the general public is honestly only so-so.
Many people around me who are unfamiliar with the aesthetic medicine industry have only heard of Dr. Ai-Li and Genie Beauty.
There are too many ridiculous things at this company to count.
Anyone interested can search online and find a whole bunch of negative reviews.

I work in sales. I had no experience when I first started.
After seven days of training, I began making sales.
There are plenty of days off—you can take up to 10 days off a month, and the days-off schedule is very flexible.
You can definitely learn a lot in this job.
You really can make money too, provided that you’re willing to study and work hard. This job isn’t suitable for people who are just here to coast.
I’ve also seen several young people with no experience earn quite a lot at Xinghe, because the salary is much better than in the same industry, especially the performance-based commission.

Beautiful work environment
1. The benefits are nowhere near as good as the job bank claims. In the year and a half I worked there, there was never a department gathering.
2. The head office requires you to take badminton classes, but you have to pay for them yourself and figure out how to get there and get home (the locations are all extremely remote).
3. There are few opportunities for salary increases within the department, and the increases are extremely small.
4. If work is scheduled for a holiday, you have to work on the holiday to finish it. Basically, there are no holidays left at the beginning of the month.
5. Among colleagues, people only care about whether they have successfully ingratiated themselves with the manager, so they have no sense of responsibility for completing every task.
6. Capable employees are overworked.

You really need to choose this company carefully.
At first, I saw that the online reviews were overwhelmingly negative, but I still went to work there despite the warning signs. Only after joining did I realize that this company has many problems.
Long-time employees have a very superior attitude; ask them a question and they act extremely arrogant.
Whether it’s beauticians or head-office employees, the turnover rate within the company is very high.
The group is very good at packaging itself as a promising company, but in reality, many of the benefits come with corresponding restrictions. It really is just as the people before me said: you can see them, but you can’t enjoy them.
The company also pursues high performance, so the internal atmosphere is extremely high-pressure. Beauticians are expected to push hard for results, and the pressure is immense.

These are real observations for reference only.
1. As mentioned in previous posts, there are many LINE groups, and the turnover rate for positions at headquarters is “extremely high.” Senior executives are an exception.
2. In one department, apart from the manager, no subordinate has stayed for more than a year, and the subordinates are officially assigned to another company.
3. Some headquarters employees have left because they could not accommodate their manager’s demands on Saturdays and Sundays.
4. There are significant discrepancies between the content described in job interviews and the actual work. Positions like this are becoming “more common.”

7. Work allocation is uneven across departments, as well as within departments. Some people are so idle that they nap, play video games, wander around, or walk their dogs in the afternoon. Truly hardworking people, those passionate about their work, and those who genuinely care about their subordinates rarely advance beyond middle management. Many capable employees leave as soon as possible.
8. There are many types of leave, such as parental leave, women’s leave, and vaccination leave, but they are available in name only. The unspoken rule favors young, single, unmarried employees. Many people leave after being relentlessly exploited.
The boss has quite a good business sense, and the company’s overall benefits are pretty good. Employees are treated like human beings.
After reading so many negative reviews, it is very obvious which supervisor (at the head office) they are referring to. The comments above are indeed accurate: this supervisor has serious emotional intelligence issues and does not know how to manage people. There are no proper SOPs for positions internally, and job responsibilities are constantly changed entirely according to the supervisor’s mood. If you are interviewing for a position at the head office, please proceed with caution; otherwise, the turnover rate would not be this high.
Unclear
After sitting down, I was not offered even half a cup of water, and the interview lasted over an hour.
The most memorable thing about the entire interview was that one interviewer said that they had an annual salary of one million at age 28, and they kept using their phone throughout the interview.

The conditions discussed in the interview and the actual work you do after joining the company are usually different. Your supervisor will tell you that you should learn more and that what you learn will be yours, but that's just bullshit to get you to do more work. Convenient transportation to the workplace, and salaries are paid on time without delays or arrears.
The job responsibilities described during the interview differ substantially from the actual work. If you are interviewing for a position such as a guaranteed-base-salary management trainee, please think twice!!!!!!! There really is no such thing as a free lunch! Things are not as simple as ordinary people might imagine! If it were really that easy to make money, a department would not have no employees other than the manager staying for more than a year!
You often still have to reply to your supervisor’s messages after work and during days off!
Also, why exactly does one company need dozens of group chats? You read that right—dozens! The group chats keep buzzing throughout holidays! There is no quality time off at all! If you are someone who can accept having days off that do not feel like time off whatsoever, you can give it a try! But I really do not recommend that fresh graduates make this their first job. You could consider other job offers first, or interview with a few more companies.
None, it was quite strange.
The company is expanding its stores and therefore requires on-site supervisors and occupational safety certifications.
The position was advertised as a general affairs role.
I went to take a look only because the company invited me.
Let me start with my impressions.
The office was small and cramped.
There wasn't even a glass of water during the interview.
Even though I brought my own résumé, I still had to fill out a lot of information and take an aptitude test.
The salary also did not meet the advertised amount. They tried to gloss over this by talking about future promotions and salary reviews by the supervisor.
After the HR representative talked at length with me, and before arranging a second interview with the supervisor, they wanted me to play a small game related to sales so I could experience the company culture.
Since I felt it was unnecessary, I refused that part. HR did not say that playing was mandatory.
After HR notified the supervisor, I was asked to leave the next second.
It was a real waste of time, as well as of the résumé I had brought.
So was I supposed to sell courses to the instructors on-site, or what?

Although the interviewer, whose surname is Chiu, kept smiling, they asked excessively about the benefits and salary at my previous company, etc. On the day of the interview, they said the manager was in a meeting and that I would have to make another trip for an interview with the manager. I missed one phone call, and when I called back afterward, I was told for several days that the interviewer was busy and that they would pass along the message. RD, if you’re in the right department, it should be a pretty good environment.

The hiring team described the team’s common traits based on astrological signs. They might as well state in the job posting that applicants of certain zodiac signs are welcome.

Job responsibilities are unclear and frequently change, making the role completely different from what was described at the time of application.
Insufficient management experience, high employee turnover, and poor team cohesion.
There are many work-related LINE groups, and you often need to respond to them outside working hours.
The work environment is shared by young people.
The head office environment is extremely small and crowded. During the interview, I was repeatedly asked to move around, and when filling out the paperwork, I was told to sit in the walkway to write. It really felt like there was nowhere to sit, and the desks also looked extremely small. If you are tall or large, I would not recommend working there—the workspaces are pitifully small. The job listing describes the benefits as good, but if the benefits were really that good, there should be some employees with mid- to senior-level experience rather than so many young people. So you may want to take the benefits listed above with a grain of salt!!
