Pros

1. Flexible lunch break. Although the official rule is one hour, you can take lunch whenever you want, as long as you return to the office on time. If you want to, you may even have a chance to be a “salary thief.”

2. You do not have to clean the office; the company hires someone to clean it every week.

3. The company has four cats. People who have never owned cats may be tempted, while cat owners may feel heartbroken (see the additional explanation under the cons).

4. It is basically paradise for extroverts, right? The job requires frequent communication with customers, so people who are not afraid to talk should have no problem.

5. It is also paradise for introverts. Basically, people do not talk to one another, so it is fine if you have social anxiety. Communication with customers is also done only through the company phone.

6. There may be opportunities to travel for work, provided that you become the boss’s favorite or someone he wants to make use of^^

7. The supervisor is kind and easy to talk to.

8. The company is located in an office building, surrounded by companies that do business unrelated to living people. There is genuinely very little foot traffic, so it is a pretty good choice if you do not want to squeeze into a crowded elevator during work hours. The restrooms in the office building are clean.

Cons

1. The company has absolutely no system whatsoever. Whether it is working hours, rules, company schedules and procedures, or HR-related regulations, basically every process you would expect a company to have is like the buildings in The Last of Us, becoming rotten and ruined over time. The stated working hours are 9:00–9:30, and there are colleagues who are regularly late or arrive late. The leave application process is unclear, and many procedures only become clear after employees raise questions and the supervisor says they need to confirm them. Applicants used to working within a formal system are advised to leave quickly.

2. The company does not pay overtime. The work operates under a responsibility-based system: if a customer is about to depart or has questions, you must attend to the customer and cannot leave their messages unanswered for too long, to avoid complaints. If the customer’s destination has a time difference from Taiwan, you have to figure out for yourself when to contact and check in with them. If you are used to a normal schedule and do not accept having to respond to work messages after hours, do not even apply. This company has previously been reported for violating labor laws and was fined in June 2025.

3. Internal information does not circulate and is not transparent. It is understandable that there are small social circles within a company, but work matters are habitually assigned privately, and public information does not circulate. The company dislikes employees exchanging information privately. Nobody cares about these ridiculously trivial matters anyway.

4. The company has four cats, which I assume all belong to the boss. The cats are kept in terrible conditions. The four cats have only two litter boxes, and they urinate and defecate all day. When the feces overflow, the scene looks like the aftermath of a world war. Almost nobody cleans it up throughout the day. The cats’ bowls are filthy, with food mixed with bits of litter and their own fur—would the cats really want to eat? The water dispenser is not cleaned; I have seen small cockroaches crawl out of it. I saw the boss showing off on Threads about how much he loves his cats, and my disgust was just as deep. The office building does not have air conditioning on Sundays, and the boss often travels. No employees feed the cats on Sundays, so the cats are probably hungry all day. The boss has money to travel abroad for business inspections, but not to buy automatic litter boxes, feeders, and water dispensers for his four cats. Please do not lose your judgment just because the company has four cats. The boss has no understanding of cat care whatsoever; even when his own cats vomit, he does not clean it up and instead makes employees deal with it.

5. There is no systematic training. Most of the time, you have to figure things out and organize the information yourself. I feel sorry for the supervisor, who has to train new employees one-on-one.

6. Salaries are not paid on time. The reason given is exchange-rate fluctuations, but that is something the company should solve itself, not an excuse for late payment. The bonus structure is unclear. I heard that even sales employees who have worked there for years still do not know how their bonuses are calculated.

7. The boss, aka the director, has poor emotional control and will yell directly at supervisors in the office’s common areas. His catchphrase is “TMD” (so that is why it is called TM Travel?). He is often away on overseas business trips and likes to micromanage remotely. When he is in the office, he likes to suddenly grab the sales staff for meetings and launch into one- or two-hour-long speeches. He then emotionally blackmails employees, saying that performance and conversion rates are terrible and asking how they are going to take on more orders. The company has absolutely no sense of unity. If the boss suddenly explains something during an interview or in the course of everyday work, there is a high probability that the company has precisely that problem. An incompetent commander exhausts the troops.

8. The entire company dislikes explaining things clearly. You have to find ways to ask, observe, or pry information out of colleagues. If you want to work here, it would be best to obtain a private investigator’s license before joining; your abilities will definitely improve dramatically.

9. The written documentation is incomplete. You spend all day digging through ruins in the company database, and everyone’s document versions are inconsistent. The formatting is a complete mess. If you have obsessive-compulsive tendencies, you will go crazy. The fonts are inconsistent throughout the documents. If I were a customer, my first impression would be zero points.

10. Beware of the boss’s obedience test. New employees may be asked to participate in overseas business inspections, which usually last seven to fourteen days. If the inspection includes holidays and you have to work locally, you will not receive compensatory leave after returning to Taiwan. Be careful not to fall into this obedience test. If you travel overseas with the boss, be careful: you may be expected to socialize with local people, shareholders, or customers. It is recommended that you do not drink alcohol. No one can afford to have any risks occur, especially women.

Pros

1. Compared with the travel agencies I’ve seen, the work environment here is beautiful and clean, and someone comes to clean regularly, making it very comfortable to work in.

2. The boss is very generous and is willing to pay when equipment is needed.

3. If both the boss and supervisor like you, you may have the opportunity to travel with them for on-site inspections. Many of the photos are taken by employees themselves.

4. Sales staff do not need to engage in cold outreach. If a call comes in, you just need to understand the customer’s needs and provide assistance.

5. If there happen to be unsold tour packages, you may be able to get travel deals at the employee rate.

6. The salary is negotiated by you. Overall, I feel it matches the value of the work.

7. The leave-request process is easy.

8. When I was new, the boss gave us some product introductions. I thought this was quite helpful and helped me better understand the company culture.

9. The company holds a worship ritual every month, and there are snacks and fruit.

Cons

1. Sales staff can easily become tied to their phones, but I think this is part of the nature of the job—it depends on whether you can accept it.

2. If you look reasonably good, you may be asked to livestream for the company or be filmed during business trips. Some people probably do not like this feeling very much. (It is true that the boss will be unhappy if you refuse, and you may possibly be portrayed negatively afterward.)

3. During business trips, you may need to cover visa costs yourself (still within an acceptable range). However, business trips mean being on call all day and handling unexpected situations continuously. The team atmosphere usually lasts for one or two weeks at a time. If you are not someone who is sufficiently flattering toward management, you may be labeled by your superiors. In addition, the boss considers this part of employee training and will ask you to sign an agreement stating that you must work for one year after returning from a business trip before resigning. If you breach the agreement, you must pay a penalty proportional to the remaining period. (Most colleagues feel considerable psychological pressure from this.) Many people end up arguing with the boss after returning from business trips.

4. The company has people reporting on employees and expects you to approach work positively. Occasional complaints may attract scrutiny. (I think this is normal; bosses and supervisors naturally do not want malicious individuals influencing the atmosphere at the company. In any case, just be cautious. Do not casually let your complaints reach upper management, or you may be placed on the layoff list.)

5. There were several times when salaries were not paid on time; the payment arrived one or two days late.

6. I attended one company banquet. The boss did not come, and the atmosphere was very strange.

7. You cannot buy food and eat it in the office, which is somewhat inconvenient.

All in all, compared with other places, the work here is quite straightforward. During my time there, the company atmosphere was somewhat strange, and I would not want to stay for very long. If you are a favorite of the boss and supervisor, they will not treat you unfairly. But once you are on their bad side, you should mentally prepare yourself to resign.

Pros

1. The office is quite nice, and the cleaning staff come twice a week, so the cleanliness is good.

2. Both sales and planning staff have opportunities to travel abroad for inspections, although this is also a disadvantage, as explained below.

3. The company has complete photography equipment. Most of the photos are basically taken by employees during business trips.

Cons

Having the opportunity to travel abroad to understand the products the company sells is certainly great, but employees are forced to sign contracts. Depending on the amount paid by the company for the overseas inspection trip, employees are bound to the company for a specified period. If you do not work for x years, you must pay, for example, 1/2 or 3/4 of your salary in order to resign. Even if you agree to pay the money and settle the matter, you may still be subjected to sarcastic remarks.

The boss is very particular about employees using their own phones to take photos during overseas inspection trips—not even one photo is allowed. I can personally understand this concern, but the constant surveillance creates an excessively oppressive feeling of distrust. In addition, you may initially be told that a business trip will take place on x month x day, only to be told later that it has been postponed. Employees must pay visa fees themselves, and they must bear all resulting losses; the company will not care. The company often changes business-trip dates. If you cannot accommodate a last-minute change, you are labeled as someone who does not fit in. Supervisors are very skilled at emotional manipulation.

During business trips, because of something outrageous the boss says, you may have to get up early to photograph the sunrise even when you are exhausted and have barely slept. Of course, during business trips you do not stay in the upscale hotels sold to customers. You usually stay separately in an inexpensive dormitory-style room, with male and female employees living together in the same space (sometimes even in the same room). Anyone who values privacy should take special note. No one will tell you any of these details before the business trip. After all, turnover is very high, and senior employees are the boss’s trusted inner circle, with a deeply ingrained willingness to submit.

1. The boss is emotionally unstable and often loudly berates employees in the office, nearly amounting to personal attacks, which makes people uncomfortable.

2. The planning department’s work is disorganized. In the middle of working, employees may have to wash diving equipment rented by customers. If someone is going on a business trip, planning staff are responsible for organizing all the photography equipment.

3. As the end of the workday approaches, completely non-urgent tasks may suddenly be added.

4. Supervisors listen to the boss excessively. Frontline employees must accept all of the boss’s fanciful ideas, and unexplained overtime is the norm.

5. If you finish your work and leave on time, coworkers may resent you, even if you are genuinely unable to help them.

6. Whenever there is a customer complaint, sales staff are responsible for paying compensation. There have been cases where an entire month’s hard-earned pay was used to cover the costs.

7. If the boss dislikes you, you will be dismissed, regardless of right or wrong or of your abilities.

8. On holidays, you may sometimes be forced to host business partners from overseas.

9. The starting salary is very low. There are no clear evaluation criteria for raises; it depends entirely on whether the boss likes you.

10. Financial operations are not transparent. Each payday, no clear pay statement is provided, and even after raising the issue, you do not receive a clear response.

Overall, I personally think the work itself is not difficult. Anyone willing to learn can definitely quickly become familiar with the various equipment and systems. However, the psychological pressure of working here is extremely high! Even if you are highly capable and have not done anything wrong, you constantly have to worry about offending coworkers by leaving on time, offending your supervisor by clearly telling them where they made a mistake, or being disliked by the boss. You also have no way of knowing whether there is any opportunity for a raise. I understand that the chance to travel abroad for business inspections is very appealing, and some people may say that working while traveling is great. But the employees chosen for business trips are selected randomly by the boss, and you may not get along with them—unless you are a living Buddha reincarnated. The price you have to pay is far too high. It is truly better to find a better company, earn money, and then enjoy traveling abroad, without having to worry about being bound by a contract or being monitored and suspected simply because you took out your phone and casually took one photo.

Pros

After saying goodbye, you can have some snacks and fruit

The company’s location is convenient

It’s the happiest when the supervisor isn’t around

Cons

1. There’s not much more to say about the boss; many people have already described things very accurately. As for the supervisors under the boss, they basically just do what the boss says. In practice, they have little professional competence and are not good at leading or training people. At the company, employees have to learn to judge and handle many matters on their own. Supervisors may even teach them the wrong things, while employees are generally responsible for compensating customers or apologizing. Business staff can only feel their way through by learning from their mistakes.

2. There is a large and complicated workload. In addition to responding courteously to their own customers, business staff must personally reply to inquiries from customers on Facebook and LINE. Maintaining website information, adding photos, and so on are also handled by business staff. The workload is completely disproportionate to the salary.

3. The company is constantly hiring because the turnover rate is very high. Whenever there is a customer complaint, business staff are responsible for paying compensation (sometimes even more than a month’s salary). Employee training is poor, and the company also keeps forcing employees they dislike to leave. Most importantly, they insist that employees resign voluntarily and are completely unwilling to pay severance.

If you’re smart enough, have strong business skills, are familiar with how the travel industry operates, don’t need to rely on supervisors or anyone else, work efficiently, speak multiple languages, and are very good at pleasing supervisors and the boss, then you’re well suited to this job. (But I believe you’ll have better options.)

If you’ve just entered the workforce and are passionate about the travel industry, do not apply here under any circumstances. This company has quite a few dark sides. You won’t just be undermined by supervisors—the senior employees are also experts at scheming against others, which is how they survive at this company. Of course, if you want to quickly learn how to navigate society, you can give it a try.

Pros

The work environment is comfortable; I can't think of anything else.

Cons

Colleagues appear to get along harmoniously on the surface, but because the boss does not separate personal and professional matters and is emotional, it is best to choose the right side to stand on and make sure you do not inexplicably get blacklisted. Once you are blacklisted, regardless of whether you are right or wrong, it is all your fault. They will do everything possible to force you out. The managers trained by him are the same. If you do not follow his way of doing things, you will immediately be questioned—of course, you will also be “blacklisted.”

To force people the boss dislikes to leave, they reduce the bonus percentage; anything they can pin on you, they will do everything possible to pin on you.

Managers can make mistakes because they are very busy. If sales staff make a mistake, they deserve to die.

Pros

1. If the boss likes you, you may get to go on business trips to inspect places and visit attractions.

2. The office environment is beautiful and comfortable (you can take off your shoes).

3. Perhaps because it is in the tourism industry, it is easy to take leave (as long as you find someone to cover for you), and many colleagues often travel abroad.

Cons

1. The boss is extremely emotional and easily mixes personal and professional matters. Once you are blacklisted or regarded as someone who is “problematic and leads others in causing trouble,” you basically do not need to keep working there.

2. Overtime is routine for business staff, with no overtime pay (someone may even clock you in automatically).

3. There is no established training system; you often only find out how things should be done after being scolded for doing them incorrectly.

4. There are many informants, so you cannot show even the slightest dissatisfaction with the company (they place great emphasis on having the “right attitude”).

This company can be recommended for obedient employees who want to work steadily for their entire careers, provided that the boss does not dislike them.

3. Employee trips

4. There is a base salary, and no performance threshold

1. The calculation of performance bonuses is not transparent

Business trips provide a better understanding of the itinerary

Cons

TM

You need to meet the requirements of an all-purpose salesperson, be on standby 24 hours a day and on holidays (because travelers going abroad do not have tour leaders, customers may call in the middle of the night or on holidays).

You need to have an extremely high level of commitment and be ready to go on domestic and overseas business trips in accordance with company policies at any time. If you refuse due to personal matters, you may upset the boss.

You need to have an extremely high tolerance for stress, because there are no standard procedures for handling problems; you can only deal with them according to the company's mood. Moreover, the ability to resolve problems is inadequate, so sales staff are pushed out to be berated. Being scolded by customers is not enough—you will also be scolded by the company (sales staff being scolded to tears is an everyday occurrence).

In addition, it is best if you can be obedient and not make a fuss. You will need to work overtime every day—it has become the norm. Even better if you can accept a low base salary and no year-end bonus; that is the only way to achieve a high cost-performance ratio.

If you feel you do not meet the above requirements, do not try this lightly

Pros

1. Opportunities for business trips and study tours, allowing you to gain a better understanding of the company's travel products

2. The company’s employees are relatively young, and the overall working atmosphere is fairly good

3. If you are favored by the boss, the salary is higher than that of similar industries elsewhere

4. There is no performance threshold and no upper limit on performance

5. One overseas employee trip each year

6. Although there are many sponsored promotions, the travel products are of a certain quality

Cons

1. The compensation system is not transparent, and it is impossible to know how the monthly bonuses are calculated. The amounts fluctuate greatly. When asking accounting, the only answer you get is: “Because of exchange rate issues.”

2. Overtime is strongly encouraged and has become an unwritten rule. If it is the off-season and the workload decreases, be careful about leaving at six o’clock on time, as you may be questioned about it.

3. To avoid being investigated by the Labor Insurance Bureau over serious working-hour violations and the lack of overtime pay, employees clock in themselves when arriving at work, while a designated person thoughtfully handles clocking out after work.

4. There is no system for increasing bonuses for business specialists; it is entirely determined by the boss’s preferences.

5. Those who fall out of favor with the boss may have their bonus percentage inexplicably reduced or lose bonuses associated with their original language advantage, yet there is no legal recourse because these are not regular wages but part of the company’s reward-and-punishment mechanism.

6. There is no comprehensive leave system. For marriage leave, parental leave, and so on, even personal leave can only be taken for a full day...

7. The company has no written policy explaining how to handle customer complaints in advance. After the company unilaterally negotiates with the customer and compensates the traveler, it may verbally inform the business employee that they must pay the compensation. This is baffling.

Conclusion: There are many other problems that are difficult to explain. If you are looking for a stable, long-term job, this company is not recommended because it lacks transparent and comprehensive systems for promotions, bonuses, and retirement benefits. If you have the opportunity to work for this company, you need to find a way to become one of the boss’s favorites; otherwise, it will be difficult to survive.

The above is entirely my personal description and impressions.
