Read the community guidelinesRapid development; large company
Cons
The company is now renamed Samoa-based Chih-Chiang International Enterprise.
Internally, people like to criticize and attack one another, speaking badly of others while portraying themselves as good.
Some plant sites like to berate people. When problems occur, they shift blame onto one another.
There are factions within the company, and the political relationships are complicated.
The employee turnover rate is very high.
Only after joining do you learn that several hundred people have left.
However, I heard that senior management does not care,
because they believe employees simply have low stress tolerance.
It also appears that the turnover rate among management is not low.
As a result, although the company has only a few plants, its recruitment websites are always full of vacancies. Because people keep resigning, the positions are never fully filled.
There is too much difference between the stated core values and the actual environment.
The company culture is strange.
The company says one thing and does another.
Supervisors decide promotions and bonuses based on their personal preferences.
Personal discretion is heavily emphasized; policies can be changed whenever management decides.
People who have an inflated sense of self-importance or are articulate may fit in here.
There are many people like this inside.
For those who simply work quietly and sincerely, the workload will only keep increasing. Tasks can be increased, but compensation cannot.
The work pressure is high, and you may also be berated by supervisors. Think carefully before joining.

Going to the interview today for Zhixiang Co., Ltd. (formerly Zhiqiang Industrial) for the “Information Systems Administrator (MIS) stationed in Southeast Asia” position was truly a waste of my time. Taking half a day off cost me NT$750 in lost income.
Just thinking about having to continue with another two hours of interviews there made me feel too lazy to continue, so I said on the spot that I wanted to leave.
After I got home, I checked Tianyancha and only then discovered that internally it was actually ......... Fortunately, I didn’t waste too much time staying there.
Are you recruiting an SA? An SD? A PM? DevOps? MIS? Please figure out which one you actually need before posting the job opening and looking for candidates.
After figuring that out, prepare a more discriminating written test; this will also save both sides time.
Thank you.
During the pandemic, I took unpaid leave locally in accordance with the company’s request, but my Labor Insurance salary bracket was lowered.

Generous year-end banquet prizes
Suitable for coasting toward retirement
The group’s HR department uses despicable tactics, joining forces with senior finance executives to pull sneaky stunts. They are especially prone to targeting employees who are preparing to resign. Company policies can be changed whenever they want and take effect immediately. As soon as they find out that you plan to resign, they use these new rules to make things difficult for you—for example, canceling your travel subsidy outright, then only agreeing to pay it after the employee resigns and files a complaint.
Senior employees at the plant are quite arrogant and constantly trade on their seniority. They often use the excuse of “going on official business” to shop at supermarkets and show no concern about it.
The entire company is rife with infighting; cultivating connections is more important than doing the work, and there are freeloaders everywhere.
During the pandemic, when there weren't many projects, expatriate personnel were required to take leave locally, because taking leave would result in a salary deduction.
As a result, HR would help lower your salary's insured salary bracket....

The year-end banquet raffle prizes are pretty good.
Zhiqiang’s senior management logic is truly baffling: they assigned a supervisor who already had management problems to serve as the plant manager at a Japanese-brand facility, which ended up causing many more people to resign.
The headquarters HR center seems to offer no strategic advice and is indifferent to the resignation rate exceeding expectations. Even when the plant manager is this bad, they do not reflect on whose problem it is. As if the HR center’s inaction were not enough, it also forced out the junior HR manager who had worked hard to recruit Japanese-speaking talent when the Japanese brand was first taken on. It really is true that good people die young, while troublemakers live for a thousand years.
Think twice before joining Zhiqiang. The political waters run deep, and managers only want to use people who obey them. If you have even a few professional ideas, it is better not to bring them up.
All the benefits you would expect from a publicly listed company are provided.
It is recommended that the accounting department not be sent on assignments away from the office.
The accounting supervisor who is sent out spends all day wandering off under various pretexts.
They dump all the work on their subordinates.
For example, they use inspecting the plant as a pretext to play Pokémon GO.
As for their accounting SENSE, I have no comment.
The most outrageous thing is:
The company has two online banking accounts.
As the accounting supervisor, they have to handle the online banking tasks “personally”—I do not even know where to begin criticizing that.
And yet they entered the wrong password six times in a row.
So we had to apply to have the account unlocked for them.
Are they intellectually disabled, or is their prefrontal cortex underdeveloped?
Good benefits
The company is growing, so there are many opportunities.
Age is not an issue. As long as you have the ability, the company is willing to give you opportunities and a stage to showcase your talents.
Most overseas assignments are management positions. Those who want to work overseas should not focus only on the higher salary; their mindset, approach, and way of thinking all need to change, and they will grow much more.
Compared with Taiwan, Vietnam has fewer holidays and only one day off per week, so you need to adapt.
HR and benefits are considered pretty good for a shoe factory.
The turnover rate at the big X factory is extremely high, making it impossible to hand work over to others. Everyone is overloaded with work because when someone leaves, the remaining employees have to take over. The UA brand is also very poor.
For an assignment at a shoe factory, it’s still acceptable. Compared with other shoe factories, there aren’t that many business dinners and social engagements. However, it is essentially a position with responsibility-based working hours and no overtime pay, while the benefits and year-end bonus are average.
Software Engineer (on assignment), handling various ERP matters every day. Managers change frequently, and there are few people doing the actual work—on average, one person manages one plant. The various departments are not very friendly toward IT, and there is all kinds of disrespect. If you are considering joining, please think twice; interpersonal relationships matter more than getting the work done.
