Pros

After thinking about it, I still feel that working at this company was truly bizarre.

Some time has passed, but I still wanted to come back and share some “incidents.”

There were practically no advantages. I suppose making it through even one quiet day would count as an advantage.

Although I was only there for a short time, some colleagues were still nice. I just don’t know whether they’ve already left 😂😂

Cons

The company originally had two cats. After the boss moved the office, there was nowhere to keep them, so they were sent to a pet hotel. I don’t know what happened to them afterward (their whereabouts are unknown).

On my very first day at work, I was corrected and told that emails had to use 12-point Microsoft JhengHei, with repeated emphasis on the requirement.

The other colleagues in the office had extremely low tolerance for mistakes. If you asked for guidance about something you had never done before, they would look down on you and have an extremely bad attitude. Many minor things were also magnified and scrutinized—looking for flaws in everything. Whenever a problem arose, they would immediately lash out at the other person, as if they didn’t know how to communicate.

I don’t know how the supervisor became a supervisor in the first place. They basically did no work and were completely incompetent.

The other colleagues liked to beat around the bush when doing things and were extremely indirect. They often had to put on a whole act to accommodate senior management’s opinions. When asking about something, you had to be evasive and couldn’t directly ask the key question. It was truly exhausting.

The boss’s way of thinking never changed and they only knew how to propose old ideas. Any new suggestion would be shot down. Whenever the boss offered an opinion, they basically only made things worse.

The boss used to drink alcohol during work and would constantly call people into meetings. During meetings after drinking, they would go around in circles, wasting everyone’s time.

Everything written in the comments above is absolutely true!!!

Pros

After all these years, it’s still the same XD

What the senior employees said is all true~ I really feel it!

1. The only obvious improvement is that they now pay overtime!? (Only from 19:30 to 22:00, and they’ll question your work efficiency.)

2. They keep reminding everyone not to work overtime (it feels like they’re just putting on a show, since people work overtime very often).

3. You have to write a work log every day, including your working hours and what you learned that day~ (But if you write too directly, you’ll still be criticized by senior management in meetings.)

Cons

1. They always make everyone post some kind of brainwashing-style motivational slogan!? (Some kind of “XX ritual” led by a certain executive.)

2. The turnover rate is extremely high. Senior management loves to use all kinds of excuses to make sarcastic remarks, speak harshly, and angrily berate people in meetings (some people have even been yelled at until they cried).

3. Contractors have it really rough. If you take on work from this company, be mentally prepared: payment requests are difficult to process, and you’ll be nitpicked and pressured to cut your price. They also make unreasonable demands without understanding the market~ Many contractors have simply given up and stopped taking their projects, which clearly shows there’s a serious problem with the business contacts (then they find new contractors to clean up the mess, and projects keep getting delayed).

4. Once the bird is caught, the bow is put away. After using you for certain projects, they’ll find all kinds of excuses to force you to leave. Many managers and employees have been driven out~ If you’re willing to be treated as disposable labor, think twice before joining.

5. A certain finance manager who loves to curry favor with others also loves to make a big deal out of minor issues and turn employees against one another. Don’t ever trust her friendly smile—she’ll stab you in the back several times over.

6. Read the contents of all kinds of evaluations and documents carefully. According to a former employee who left, some evaluations were completely fabricated and designed to make you take the blame. When people discovered this and raised the issue, senior management just pretended nothing was wrong and refused to explain. Be very careful when signing anything, and ideally keep records of your conversations on a regular basis.

7. All kinds of copywriting, proposals, and so on are constantly revised or left until the last minute. You can only take them home and work until 4 or 5 a.m., and of course there’s no overtime pay.

8. It’s hard for the coworkers around you to last more than three months. Even after passing the probationary period, you’ll still be given a hard time and eventually leave quietly on your own.

9. I can’t believe I’ve made it to point nine!!! All I can say is, leaving feels great~ I sincerely advise people not to come here unless they’re into being treated badly.

Pros

1. Salary is higher than in the same industry.

2. There is no need to make up workdays for national holidays.

Cons

1. The company is very willing to offer high salaries, but the salary offered will also be brought up against you later, such as: “We spend so much money hiring you, yet you can’t even write XX properly...” and similar remarks. They use salary as a form of emotional blackmail (many people have been spoken to this way).

2. A certain senior executive has extremely poor emotional control and has a number of emotional disorders, yet does not properly see a doctor. Every so often, she takes out her emotions on different people, launching personal attacks and even fabricating accusations out of thin air.

3. A certain senior executive loves to sow discord among employees, fearing that employees will form cliques, but also dislikes employees who quietly keep to themselves and are not good at socializing. She also applies extremely double standards: if she takes a liking to you, even if you commit a heinous offense, it will be completely overlooked; if she dislikes you, even the most trivial matter can be used to target you.

4. The company’s managers are generally not very capable, and none of them have any real authority. They can only follow the senior executives’ instructions on everything and are unable to express their own opinions.

(When you first interview, the senior executives create an atmosphere of freedom and openness, but it is all fake. After joining, you discover that it is a one-person dictatorship, and anyone who goes against it has only one possible outcome.)

5. On the surface, overtime is not encouraged and overtime pay is provided. In practice, however, if you are too busy and work overtime too often in succession, you will be berated by senior executives. They may even criticize you at a meeting in front of everyone and launch personal attacks.

6. Professionally, the company’s public relations work has no particular breakthroughs and is very ordinary... Yet the senior executives are extremely fond of criticizing other PR companies, showing very little grace, and even criticizing former employees.

Everything above is true, and the other accounts are true as well. This is a company where as many as 44 people left within two years. If you have the courage, go experience it for yourself!

Pros

Pros

1) Most colleagues are young women and easy to get along with.

2) The company is small, but most clients are well-known large corporations.

3) Around the Lunar New Year, the company gives employees approximately 2–3 additional days off in advance.

4) When a workday is designated as a make-up workday for a public holiday on the calendar, the company always gives everyone the day off.

Cons

Cons

1) There is no overtime pay, and the boss also dislikes anyone mentioning the words “overtime pay” (even after being inspected by the labor authorities twice, nothing has changed).

2) After reaching a certain level, anyone who submits a resignation will be mocked and ridiculed, making the remaining days until departure very unpleasant.

3) The boss frequently likes to call impromptu meetings and make everyone listen to his speeches (the content is mostly unrelated to work and connected to his own emotional fluctuations).

4) The company has an extremely high turnover rate, so you must constantly take over the work of people who are preparing to leave.

Pros

1. Salary is better than at other companies in the same industry

2. The Lunar New Year holiday starts early

3. No need to work on make-up workdays

4. The work environment is quite magnificent

Cons

Everything mentioned above is true!!!

1. Senior company management uses verbal abuse, loud yelling, angry expressions, roaring mockery, and emotional manipulation to threaten employees. Employees do not dare to speak up and even have to comfort senior managers who are easily emotionally shattered. (Quite a few employees have shown signs of depression after leaving.)

2. On the surface, the company appears to consider employees' interests by offering salaries better than those of other companies in the same industry and encouraging employees not to work overtime. In reality, however, it operates under a complete responsibility-based system, with employees working themselves to death. There is no way to apply for compensatory leave for setting up venues early for morning events, and when working at events on holidays, employees can only apply for compensatory leave and cannot exchange it for overtime pay.

3. Senior management drinks during working hours to vent their feelings, and occupying employees' work time to talk about matters unrelated to work is commonplace. Once a senior manager's feelings are hurt, the entire company has to be on edge. Employees who are disliked and targeted by senior management have a miserable time, while other employees will not help. Given all the psychological pressure, it is a blessing that no one has lost their life.

4. The company likes to organize reading groups, supposedly to help employees enrich themselves. In practice, the reading groups are gatherings for flattering senior management. The books are selected by senior management, and every time they talk about seemingly profound workplace principles, but in reality they are just brainwashing employees into accepting management's ideas so they can be managed more easily~ It really is very much like a certain cult.

5. Every proposal contains roughly the same content, and the same idea will be used in many proposals. There is very little creativity. When senior management cannot come up with something themselves, they make employees rack their brains for it. If employees cannot think of anything, they get yelled at, because senior management is anxious too. Employees are paid by the company, so they can only accept it. If you have worked in planning, public relations, or a similar field, I advise you not to come here—not only will you learn nothing, you will also suffer a great deal of anger!

6. The turnover rate is extremely high. It is not surprising for 3–5 employees to leave in a month. Even though this is supposedly a company that has been around for about 15 years, it feels like a startup full of newcomers.

7. I actually made it all the way to point seven. I should escape this hell early too~~~

Pros

The salary is okay; they didn’t cut the expected salary.

Cons

1. The senior management is very emotional and needs constant attention from others.

2. Everything mentioned above is true: it is true that they drink alcohol during working hours, and it is also true that they make sarcastic remarks. If they are dissatisfied, they won’t say so at the time or privately; instead, they will explain it to everyone at a public meeting without any warning.

3. Their own activities have not been very successful. They are not as capable at online marketing as companies specializing in online marketing, so opportunities for development are limited. If you want to pursue a career in public relations, you should think carefully about your future marketing approach.

Pros

1. The salary is fairly good, and there is also a salary adjustment every year.

2. The company values thinking skills, so it’s a good choice if you want to learn how to develop proposals.

3. The company places importance on training, so I highly recommend it if you want to learn the basics.

You need to have an ironclad body, a heart that is not easily crushed, and thick skin.

Cons

1. Overtime is frequent, and no overtime pay or meal allowance is provided.

2. Senior managers occasionally drink alcohol during working hours, and they easily bring their emotions into their work.

3. Senior managers have poor emotional management and often lose their temper at the company, affecting the office atmosphere.

4. When senior managers are in a bad mood, meetings will be very long, and they will make sarcastic remarks toward employees during the meetings.

Pros

1. The company is willing to cultivate its employees; considering the company's size, the number of training sessions is quite high.

2. A company that values “creativity” and dislikes following conventions; suitable for people who enjoy doing crazy things.

Cons

1. There is no overtime pay, with the explanation that it is an industry norm (?).

2. Senior management allows unreasonable client demands to go unchecked and encourages frontline employees to deal with them on their own.

3. Resigning will result in being given a hard time. For example, at various meetings, they make snide remarks and spread rumors about colleagues who are about to leave. (The colleagues still have strong ethical standards and did not reveal in advance that they were going to leave...)

4. A certain senior manager has extremely poor emotional intelligence and often takes out unrelated frustrations on colleagues. Clearly a terminal princess-syndrome patient.

5. A certain senior manager considers resignation a form of “betrayal” and will “find grounds to pursue” former colleagues after they leave.

6. I’m leaving too. Bye-bye.
