1. Salary is better than at other companies in the same industry
2. The Lunar New Year holiday starts early
3. No need to work on make-up workdays
4. The work environment is quite magnificent
Everything mentioned above is true!!!
1. Senior company management uses verbal abuse, loud yelling, angry expressions, roaring mockery, and emotional manipulation to threaten employees. Employees do not dare to speak up and even have to comfort senior managers who are easily emotionally shattered. (Quite a few employees have shown signs of depression after leaving.)
2. On the surface, the company appears to consider employees' interests by offering salaries better than those of other companies in the same industry and encouraging employees not to work overtime. In reality, however, it operates under a complete responsibility-based system, with employees working themselves to death. There is no way to apply for compensatory leave for setting up venues early for morning events, and when working at events on holidays, employees can only apply for compensatory leave and cannot exchange it for overtime pay.
3. Senior management drinks during working hours to vent their feelings, and occupying employees' work time to talk about matters unrelated to work is commonplace. Once a senior manager's feelings are hurt, the entire company has to be on edge. Employees who are disliked and targeted by senior management have a miserable time, while other employees will not help. Given all the psychological pressure, it is a blessing that no one has lost their life.
4. The company likes to organize reading groups, supposedly to help employees enrich themselves. In practice, the reading groups are gatherings for flattering senior management. The books are selected by senior management, and every time they talk about seemingly profound workplace principles, but in reality they are just brainwashing employees into accepting management's ideas so they can be managed more easily~ It really is very much like a certain cult.
5. Every proposal contains roughly the same content, and the same idea will be used in many proposals. There is very little creativity. When senior management cannot come up with something themselves, they make employees rack their brains for it. If employees cannot think of anything, they get yelled at, because senior management is anxious too. Employees are paid by the company, so they can only accept it. If you have worked in planning, public relations, or a similar field, I advise you not to come here—not only will you learn nothing, you will also suffer a great deal of anger!
6. The turnover rate is extremely high. It is not surprising for 3–5 employees to leave in a month. Even though this is supposedly a company that has been around for about 15 years, it feels like a startup full of newcomers.
7. I actually made it all the way to point seven. I should escape this hell early too~~~
