The interview left me waiting around for half an hour. After waiting for half an hour, I was informed that the manager who was supposed to interview me was not at the company. Does it really take half an hour to confirm that someone isn’t at the company?

I joined this company with a grateful heart. The salary is slightly higher than the industry average. This is a paradise for the diligent and a graveyard for the lazy. After working here for some time, I found that my colleagues were always full of energy. The company’s managers delegate authority extensively, and delivering results can immediately translate into various incentive bonuses. If I make a mistake, I can always see looks of tolerance and encouragement, giving me the courage to face tomorrow’s challenges.
None for now
Everyone has left, so you’ll become senior very quickly.
I don’t know how this company has managed to survive until now. No one wants to work there, so they rush to fill positions because everyone has been driven away by scolding. If you want to step into hell, go take a look.
There are absolutely no advantages.
It is full of suffering. Unless you want to accumulate merit so that all your ancestors can attain Buddhahood, I advise everyone not to set foot in it.

Applied for the position of executive producer. On the first day, the boss took me aside for questioning, saying that the planning aspect of my abilities... At the time, I thought that if there were no projects to shoot, writing proposals and scripts would also be okay. I never expected that on the fourth day of employment, I would be notified that they currently had no need for me and hoped that I could work on a freelance basis.
Actually, Taiyi is a fairly well-structured company where you can learn things. A few of the managers are genuinely very nice and capable (only a few), and are also very willing to teach. While working there, I did learn about government specifications, tenders, project execution, document organization, and handling conversations, among other tasks. I am grateful to Taiyi itself and grateful for the general manager’s achievement in establishing a 10-year-old advertising company.
There are always long-serving employees who, after staying too long, enjoy workplace bullying and putting on demonstrations.
He likes putting on a show in public, but he will not help you solve problems. He likes suddenly promising clients things, which is when your abilities are put to the test. He will not take responsibility and will criticize you for being incompetent.
(Personally, I think that if you want to handle things well, you should not spend time scolding people; you should find a way to solve the problem together.)
He likes being encouraged and flattered. I learned to do that here, but unfortunately, he was still dissatisfied ☹️
When a new employee first joins, regardless of whether they are capable, he bullies all of them to display his authority.
Personality traits:
Putting on airs, publicly berating people, then asking others whether they heard it: “If you didn’t hear me, next time I’ll let you experience how powerful I am at scolding people!”
Taiyi is actually a company you could work for, but if you have emotional issues or tend to be more affected by this kind of thing, I recommend training and strengthening your abilities at another company before applying for an interview here.
That way, you will not be stuck dealing with work-related problems while also being subjected to sarcastic remarks.
Can't think of any
I always arrive early for interviews. After HR came out to greet me, they said the boss would be conducting the interview and reminded me to bring out my best work when the time came.
I waited for half an hour before seeing the boss come in.
At the beginning, after asking me to introduce myself, they said, “I’ve looked at all your work. Our company needs someone who can ……………”
I was quite taken aback at that moment,
because my work clearly demonstrated all the skills they were looking for.
Did you really look at my work?
The entire conversation ended in less than 10 minutes.

I sincerely do not recommend working at Taiyi. You will feel like nothing more than a tool, merely satisfying the wishes of your supervisors and the boss, and you will also be given a hard time. The boss does not care about employees at all, is very petty about small amounts of money, and there are hardly any bonuses—only a base salary. Please think carefully before joining.
You can receive unemployment benefits if you are laid off.
Quite an extraordinary journey. After joining the film production planning department, I received an unexpected dismissal notice in less than a month. The notice said that because of the pandemic, the company’s probationary period was three months. Three people were dismissed that month, all for reasons such as insufficient ability and downsizing. Sharing my experience as someone who has been through it with future junior colleagues: think carefully before joining.

A Letter to an Unsung Hero
Dear Unsung Hero,
Hello.
You may be wondering: you and I barely know each other, so why am I writing you a letter? The truth is, I have a few things I want to say to you. I hope you know that, in a corner of the company, someone has been helped by you.
At the beginning of this year, it was rumored that someone reported the company for failing to pay overtime. We employees have put up with expired cookies, year-end banquet raffle headphones worth 500 yuan, year-end bonuses... There is no need to say more. We could endure all of that. But this time was different—you refused to put up with it.
You are neither a fearsome police officer nor a respected doctor. You are simply an obscure employee, yet you helped give justice to so many employees who could not return home, and gave a return to the efforts they had poured in day and night.
When storms rise, ride the wind and break the waves.
We are all unsung heroes.
Hold on to your anger; overcome every obstacle and charge ahead.
A hero does not necessarily wear a cape.
If you are reading this, please leave a comment to let me know. Thank you.
Thinking of such a heavy story, I just can't feel happy.
This is a confession of guilt

We silently watched her skillfully prepare.
Once again, she was brought out to make a presentation.
By now, we had lost count of how many non-project leads had been brought out to present this month.
The first time, she was quite at a loss as well.
In a daze, she followed her supervisor out, offering up her first time.
Then, little by little, she gradually got used to it.
She got used to hearing about projects she had never even heard of at presentation sites.
She got used to putting aside her actual work and traveling for most of the day.
She got used to listening to her supervisor boast after making a presentation.
She got used to being a vase.
After all, the other female colleagues had gone through the same thing.
Habit is truly frightening.
And we, too, had grown accustomed to seeing this scene.
As long as you were a woman and not too unattractive,
you would become the most popular girl, the “J girl,” frequently singled out to be brought along to presentations.
This kind of scene had long been commonplace at this company.
Everyone was angry, but no one dared to speak up.
Would it do any good to say something?
In the end, the women would all resign.
There was no stated reason, but everyone knew the reason.
No one had ever been able to hold the position of “J girl” for long.
When crimes are dictated by authority,
we must all understand that there is more than one perpetrator.
The entire system has a serious problem.
And how has our sense of justice been twisted?
The soul has fallen so deeply into the abyss.
When
did I sell my own soul?
We passionately discussed this irrational phenomenon safely behind our screens,
yet in reality were filled with helplessness toward the company's system and cold indifference.
Even if the harm did not come from us, there was no way to escape the identity of perpetrator.
The distance between us and evil is this close.
There are many kind colleagues, but because everyone is too kind, it is also very difficult.
By the way, “kind” here refers to colleagues and a very small number of managers.
Compared with other companies in the same industry, the company’s problems may not be the best, but they are not the worst either. If you want to compare how bad things are, there may be even worse companies. Perhaps this counts as an advantage; whether you want to participate in this competition to compare who is less fortunate is up to you.
The turnover rate is so high that there are almost no sufficiently established senior colleagues to learn from, because the good people who see through the company’s true nature may not stay for long.
Inexperienced newcomers easily end up busying themselves pointlessly, so this workplace is more suitable for people with at least some work experience. The main reason is that being able to distinguish right from wrong is an important skill; after that, you will probably understand why the turnover rate is so high.
Although I did not believe it before joining the company, after experiencing the workplace firsthand, the negative reviews here felt quite justified. There is a reason why the company inspires such little trust in its employees.
In short, do not think that because you believe you cannot withstand the pressure, or because work brings only exhaustion and no happiness, you are a “strawberry generation” person who deserves to put up with it. The power to choose in life absolutely does not lie with the company. If you feel unhappy, it is not your problem; all you need to reflect on is whether you have been sleeping and resting properly. I wish everyone () a pleasant working experience. (Fill in the parentheses with whatever you need.)
Everyone knows this company is both terrible and exhausting.
Staying for half a year before looking for another job will add a point or two to your résumé.
Since things are so lively here, I also have some serious things I want to say to fresh graduates (or people looking for jobs).
You think your work will involve
coming up with ideas, planning, designing, producing, and delivering messages—
ideally, you can check in on FB and IG like everyone else, saying that this is your work and asking people to like it, and so on.
No.
Really, no.
The work consists of government tenders, and you deal with a group of civil servants.
That means you don't need to think about the core values of companies and brands.
Whatever those section chiefs say goes.
Consumer analysis is even more out of the question.
With twenty or thirty projects a year, where would you find the time to analyze the industry, positioning, and TA with you,
or set short-, medium-, and long-term plans?
There’s no time. Just write down whatever will be happening on-site, and that’s enough.
If the boss or vice president wants someone included, you add that person’s photo and profile.
Project completed (撒花).
But they often disagree with each other.
One of those supervisors will privately tell you to add a certain celebrity or change the script,
and then after you’ve spent most of the day on it, the boss will tell you to change it back.
Of course, you have to listen to the boss, because he really is right.
It’s just that he won’t care how long you spent changing these things.
You can only blame yourself for listening to the supervisor in the first place.
This leaves everyone going through the motions; in any case, things can just be changed when they reach that person’s stage.
The most classic part is still media communications.
The irony is that although this is supposedly an “advertising” company,
there is no “What to say” or creatively developed “How to say.”
Once the press release is written,
the media-buying team spends money to buy exposure and calls it a day—civil servants think that’s fine too.
There are no cue sheets, monitoring data, or media schedules.
In an advertising industry where media resources are so important, you learn absolutely nothing about them here.
There is none of the brainstorming or strategic insight you want.
Even if we take ten steps back and set aside the fact that the company is terrible,
your work won’t break away from old ways of thinking.
Your creativity will sink into the Q槽.
The advertising-industry knowledge you want to learn simply isn’t here.
Do you still want to come to this company?
None
As soon as I arrived at the company, I waited around uselessly in the lobby for over an hour, and then the interview ended after just five minutes.
Except for the supervisors,
all the colleagues are great and easy to get along with.
The boss only needs planners; all the exhausting execution work is dumped on newcomers.
The vice president also only makes grand promises. The projects they usually win are typically event-sponsorship or giveaway projects.
Newcomers have no budget to carry out these activities, so when the overspending becomes known to the boss, the boss instead blames the newcomers for being incompetent.
Women can take one day of menstrual leave each month.
But if you actually take it, you will be told to leave.
There is overtime pay, but if you submit a claim for overtime pay, someone will sit next to your desk and ask you to change it to compensatory leave.
The year-end bonus is paid to you in three installments.
The reason is that they are afraid you will leave at any time.
This is because the company works on government tenders.
When there are no projects at the beginning of the year, they start laying people off like crazy.
(If you don't believe it, check 104: all the job openings are for people who have already been laid off.)
Then they post job openings and recruit people again in the second half of the year.
The job posting says there is an annual salary adjustment, but it doesn't say that when it is time for an adjustment, they will just tell you goodbye.
If you want to join a traditional advertising agency,
this company will not be your choice.
Even if you want to stay in this industry, you would have to relearn everything after changing jobs, wasting your time for nothing (I speak from experience).
No need to handle miscellaneous tasks outside the scope of work
At seven o’clock, you’ll be required to clock in first, then continue working overtime after clocking in
If you joined the company at the beginning of the year, annual leave will not be paid~
None
It is a fact that this company was reported for violating the Labor Standards Act in 2016, and it is also a fact that, after being reported, it reluctantly paid overtime. Furthermore, if you are in a meeting and do not have time to register your overtime, you can forget about getting paid for it. It is quite obvious that the reviews are sharply divided between positive and negative. As for who is a student worker, I believe everyone can judge for themselves. If you do not believe it, go to an interview and see for yourself—but be prepared to resign quickly or get fired.

Problems caused by the supervisor are blamed on departing employees, who are then complained about to clients, damaging their professional reputation.
The supervisor lacks ability and only knows how to blame subordinates. They respect you while you are employed, but stab you in the back after you leave.
The company has serious problems. Supervisors are merely decorative, employees are worked to death, and if there are no results, you are made the scapegoat.
Think carefully before going to an interview.
Anyone who has worked at the company for more than half a year is considered a veteran! Moreover, the managers take no responsibility whatsoever, and the boss only thinks of ways to exploit employees. The work you do there is also extremely meaningless. The boss loves to bid randomly on government projects, taking a scattershot approach and thinking that a proposal can be written in a single day, but usually they don't win anyway XD. Working there not only wastes your life, but also needlessly costs you your health.
I've never seen such an awful company. It even falsely accuses employees, making them take the blame and bear legal responsibility. A company like this should go under as soon as possible.
