全聯福利中心_全聯實業股份有限公司
Pros

1. One departmental trip, one incentive trip abroad, and one company trip

2. Relaxed atmosphere at work, low work difficulty

3. The headquarters has bidets (=_=)

4. Learn market prices early and prepare the purchasing list in advance

5. Stores can be treated as a second chance in one’s career, since social acceptance is relatively low

6. Fresh-food-related departments are at the forefront of the industry; SOPs are properly referenced and established, and employees are required to follow them

Cons

Information Engineer

1. Incentive trips are only available for good performance. Besides being lucky enough to receive a major project, you also need to maintain good interpersonal relationships

2. It is difficult to improve your information technology skills internally, and the quality of outsourcing cannot be effectively controlled

3. Low salary and limited raises; it is best for newcomers to treat the job as a way to gain experience.

4. If you want a quick raise, practicing your social skills is faster. Once you master them, there will be more business opportunities waiting for you elsewhere

EQ training

Learned about the dark side of society

Cons

The store manager of the Wuchuan Second Branch

Part-time workers’ wages are always delayed

Really likes asking employees for their opinions, but the answer is always "satisfied"

Employees’ true thoughts are treated as bullshit

Pros

1. Can develop the ability to handle unexpected situations

2. Can improve speaking skills

Cons

As long as someone from upper management comes down, such as a department director or regional manager, it is never for anything good. They just stand there saying things like this should be used that way and that should be done this way, or they will directly take out their phone, take pictures, and send them to the store manager, asking the store manager to supervise and make improvements. Whenever the annual evaluation approaches, it feels like living in a constant state of alarm every day. Anyone whom the staff have not seen before or who wanders around the store will make them tense, because if the evaluation results are not good, they will be scolded and watched by upper management. In addition, two or three campaigns have to be changed within a month; sometimes, right after a campaign has been changed, stocktaking follows immediately. Almost every day is basically centered around the company. They also stipulate that each store's staffing level is determined by its sales performance. At the store where I previously worked, there were always only 13 people, including one store manager who barely did anything. During campaign changes and stocktaking, anyone who was off work had to go to the company to help. If they did not go, the store manager would sarcastically mock them.........

Pros

The headquarters is very new

Cons

They first give you 20 minutes to handwrite code, which is unrelated to the position you originally applied for. At the same time, they expect you to have PM skills, be familiar with C# .NET and SQL back-end development, and be willing to travel. When I asked how much the salary could be, they said it depends on how well you can negotiate with the manager—there was no range at all. They told me to treat it as experience and not fixate on the salary. Thank you for your instruction.

Pros

The company building is very new.

Cons

Two managers, one man and one woman, attended the interview. The male manager was rather cold and did not proactively explain much about the job; I had to ask about most things before he would answer. The female manager was also very cold and even kept scrolling on her phone throughout the interview ^^, looking expressionless and absent-minded. Unsurprisingly, I received a rejection letter a week after returning home. It doesn't matter—seeing the managers behave like that, the company would not have been my choice anyway~

None

Cons

Way too many, especially the Yunlin–Chiayi area and Puzi Wenx store, which are absolutely terrible.

People who do nothing never have to do anything.

People who work get worked to death and still have to keep working.

It’s really outrageous. Illogical managers only make people angry.

Pros

The company environment is very nice, and both the interior and exterior are pleasing to the eye.

Cons

You have to wait a long time for interviews, and the supervisor asks interviewees to remove their masks during the interview, so make sure your makeup is fully done. Be prepared to use basic computer functions. The supervisor’s mention of a large amount of paperwork is also accurate.

Cons

The official schedule involves rotating shifts, but in practice, you’re held responsible after hours. Supervisors just keep assigning you more tasks and expect you to figure out how to finish them on time. Then they sit in the office complaining on the phone about other people. Coworkers only pass work off to one another; everything is left until the last minute to see who is unlucky enough to get caught and have to finish it.

Pros

The managers were very polite during the interview, and they were very generous when discussing the salary.

Cons

Do not waste your time interviewing here.

After my interview, HR contacted me and asked me to provide my salary statements from the previous three months for salary review.

On the phone, they told me that there was absolutely no problem with hiring me and that the only thing left was to finalize the salary.

Three days later, I immediately received a rejection email thanking me for my time.

PX Mart is a company that shows absolutely no respect for job applicants.

Pros

A company with an impressive façade, but its words are as worthless as farts.

Cons

A garbage company.... After interviewing at the headquarters, they even pressured me to set a start date. That evening, I received a message saying they had already chosen someone.

It turns out that PX Mart’s training system is this terrible... The supervisor’s words are just like farts.....

Pros

I’m glad I didn’t spend too much time at this company.

Cons

At the Fullon–Hankyu Bakery Yangmei Plant, HR asked me via Digital Bank about a convenient time for an online interview. I replied through Digital Bank that I would attend the online interview as scheduled. When the interview time arrived, no one showed up. I called HR to ask about it, and he said he hadn’t received my reply???!!! I told him that I had replied through Digital Bank, and he said the manager was currently in a meeting and couldn’t conduct the interview. Then it felt like he wanted to change the subject, asking things like whether I had found a job and whether I was currently employed. He also said he would discuss a suitable time with the manager and contact me again. It was extremely frustrating and upsetting!!

Pros

The benefits are good, and meals are provided.

Cons

PX Mart Hankyu Bakery – Factory Customer Service Representative (Yangmei District, Taoyuan City)

The customer service representative Xu*Hui is sharp-tongued, caustic, arrogant, selfish, and incompetent, and curries favor with the department manager.

In fact, she has not worked there for very long either. She does not know how to train or treat people,

but she makes things difficult for new employees at every turn, humiliating, blaming, and verbally bullying them.

Anyone who wants to join should have very strong stress tolerance. Otherwise, they will definitely be verbally bullied until they resign.

Pros

The interview ended in less than a minute, so it was really impossible to observe any advantages.

Cons

At the very beginning of the interview, when the interviewer heard that I had previously worked as a temporary contract employee at a certain food company, they immediately interrupted me and said, “We cannot hire you under these circumstances. Since you have worked in a similar industry before, we are concerned that confidential information might be leaked. Please leave via the escalator on your right.”

I first explained the nature of the temporary contract work (it was simply clerical data entry), but the other person had no intention of listening. They just said they understood, but that it really was not possible, and apologized.

However, when I applied for this position, my résumé clearly stated that I had worked at a certain food company. This makes me seriously doubt that they had reviewed my application materials at all. In addition, the job posting did not mention that people who had previously worked in a related industry were prohibited from attending an interview. The entire process was a complete waste of time and extremely disrespectful. It was a terrible experience (the test took one hour, but the interview ended in less than a minute).

Pros

They pour you a glass of water.

The company headquarters building is very impressive.

Cons

Before the interview, you have to email them to say whether you will bring a 1-inch or 2-inch headshot. If you have an additional résumé that is not from the 104 Job Bank, you can bring it. On the day of the interview, you will take an aptitude test, and then they give you the company’s standard résumé form and an interview form. The interview form asks nine major questions, which you have to complete before the interview. Then you are taken to a conference room for the interview.

At the beginning, the interviewer asked, “Where’s your résumé?” I was a little confused, so I could only reply, “I only have the one from the 104 Job Bank. Didn’t you say to bring another one only if I had one?” The interviewer’s tone suggested that I should have brought one. Then they asked whether I had brought a headshot. I said I had, and asked what the interviewer would use the photo for. The interviewer replied that it was for the supervisor to look at. I said at the time, “The headshot is the same as the résumé photo on the 104 Job Bank.” The interviewer replied, “If you don’t want to provide it, I won’t force you.” I thought: Why do I have to submit these things if I haven’t even been hired? If I’m not hired, they’ll just throw them away anyway. Does the supervisor judge people by their looks, and do you only have a chance of being hired if you provide a color photo?

Later, after looking at the handwritten company résumé form I had filled out, the interviewer said, “You left way too many blanks!!! All the other interviewees filled theirs out completely.” I could only tactfully say, “I believe it’s only necessary to fill in the required fields. As for information that doesn’t affect the interview assessment, wouldn’t it be fine to complete it after being hired and reporting for work? If there are any fields you think need to be filled in now, please let me know and I’ll complete them.” After I said that, the interviewer did not ask me to fill anything in, but I thought to myself: Why do I have to write down every detail of my personal information?

Then they asked me to introduce myself. After I finished, they asked whether there was anything I wanted to ask. I wondered whether this interviewer had come just to go through the motions.

I asked two questions, but the interviewer told me I could only ask one. Then they said that if I didn’t hear anything within a week, I had not been selected, and that HR would contact me if I was hired.

As far as I remember, the benefits were pretty good, and the office was very new.

Cons

I applied for a position at headquarters. As soon as the interviewer started speaking, they said, “Are you here to interview for a part-time student position?”... I was completely confused; they didn’t even seem to know what position they were interviewing me for.... And they seemed to be very short-staffed, with a high turnover rate.

Pros

Pros? Training your speaking skills, I guess. Every time you talk to your supervisor, you have to read their mood—their face changes faster than turning a page, and it’s truly something else.

Cons

I applied for a job at a low-temperature fruit and vegetable facility. Getting the news on the third day was certainly exciting, but once I actually started working on-site, all I encountered was overtime and more overtime. Not only was there at least an hour of overtime every day, but working overtime itself was also something I couldn’t refuse. When I mentioned to the people above me that I couldn’t work overtime, they turned hostile very quickly, making communication impossible. The same applied to taking leave and swapping shifts; requests were almost never approved. If you don’t show up for work, you don’t get paid, and if your leave request is rejected, your wages are deducted; if a shift swap isn’t approved, that’s that. This is what such a great PX Mart is like.

Don't know

Cons

The position I applied for was at headquarters.

During the interview, I made it very clear that I did not graduate in a related field, and the interviewer also said that it was fine and that I could learn after joining the company.

But in the end, they told me that their supervisor still felt the candidate should have graduated in a related field or had relevant work experience, so the approval did not go through.

Why not limit interview invitations to people from relevant fields or with relevant work experience from the start? It was a complete waste of time.

Pros

The headquarters is in the Quanlian Building, with modern facilities and friendly security guards who help provide tea and water to interviewees.

Cons

The entire interview process dragged on for nearly two months—there was almost one interview every week, plus assignments, and they even required a report to be submitted. In the end, they took a long time to notify me of the result; only after I sent two emails to ask did they tell me I wasn’t hired, saying, “Your qualifications do not meet our requirements.”

Personally, I truly feel that if they thought my “qualifications did not meet their requirements,” they could have said NO at the first interview after reviewing my résumé... There was no need to waste both parties’ time like this...

Pros

1. The headquarters office is modern.

2. Having our own supermarket downstairs at headquarters is very convenient.

3. Lunch is provided for NT$50 (paid by the company but included in your taxable income), so you need to pay NT$50 yourself; white rice is unlimited.

Cons

1. You are not allowed to clock in when working overtime on holidays; you can only register at the front desk and leave through the side entrance.

2. The seniority system is extremely pronounced.

3. Although they say you can apply for overtime, in practice no one in the department dares to apply.

4. The salary is completely uncompetitive.

5. Having to carry out work duties on holidays or after work without being allowed to claim overtime is utterly absurd.

6. Leaving work on time will put you under scrutiny.

They served me tea.

Cons

First interview: Mainly discussed the job responsibilities and stated that it was a full-time position, with no need to take on unrelated tasks.

Second interview: Tactfully indicated that I might also be required to do other work. They said that if I could accept this, I would be hired, and I replied that I could accept it.

Third interview: The interview only lasted ten minutes. The interviewer emphasized that, in addition to my professional expertise, they hoped I would have other skills that could complement it. They later said that I was not selected.

Pros

1.) Be among the first to know about promotions and special offers

2.) Develop emotional intelligence

3.) Learn how to handle difficult customers appropriately

Cons

1.) No employee discount (customers often pretend to be familiar with me and ask me to check them out using the employee discount)

2.) No overtime pay; a responsibility-based system (when the shift ends, someone will “helpfully” clock out for you)

3.) No free food, even if it is merely a damaged package (discarded products are destroyed or taken back by the supplier)

4.) No one to back you up (from management’s perspective, the customer is always right, while employees are treated as worthless)

5.) No raises (regardless of how many years you stay in the same position or how well you perform, you will not receive a raise)

6.) The performance evaluation system is unrealistic (even if a customer buys only one newspaper, you must ask whether they have a membership card and whether they need a plastic bag, while at the same time aggressively pursuing cashier efficiency)

7.) Business hours are unclear (even after closing time, you cannot ask customers to speed up their shopping; all employees can do is delay closing the store together)

Additional explanation of point four

Before I left the job, the tainted cooking oil scandal occurred, and several suppliers were implicated. The company and the suppliers both announced that only products officially identified by the government as problematic could be returned. However, some consumers had lost confidence in the brand and demanded refunds and returns, even when the products they had purchased did not contain the problematic ingredients. They would angrily shout in the store and demand that PX Mart, as the retailer, absorb these costs.

The store manager’s response was actually to require employees to apologize to customers for refusing refunds or returns and to accept customers’ demands unconditionally. This led to the story spreading from person to person, causing even more customers to come into the store to argue and make a scene.

Pros

1. Sharpen yourself

2. You get to see all kinds of people who can serve as examples to learn from (colleagues, customers)

3. Be among the first to know about sale promotions and have access to new products

Cons

1. We are already understaffed, yet sometimes we still need to send people to support other stores.

2. Supervisors are increasingly assigning ad hoc tasks to the stores and requiring photos to be sent back, seriously affecting the progress of the original work.

3. Policies change frequently, often leaving store staff at a loss as to how to respond.

4. Once you are promoted to a management position, the number of work group chats you are added to inevitably increases, and messages flood in every day.

5. Gossip spreads extremely quickly. Whether it is true or fabricated, stores in your area will know about it in around three days.

6. For the rest, you can check out Kao Pei X Lian. The head office says it is monitoring and paying attention to the posts there, but that is all they do—monitor and pay attention. They have not taken any action to improve, handle, or respond to the issues....

If young people are thinking of giving it their all and developing their careers there, please consider it carefully. Without connections or a network, promotion is very slow.

It is also not recommended for those who want to work while pursuing further studies. It is truly exhausting—so exhausting that you will have no energy or stamina left to live your own life.

A temporary job for developing your work skills.

Cons

Work for four hours, take a three-hour break, then work for another four hours. Since clocking out after work is based on a system of responsibility, you are basically at the company all day. Don’t worry about exceeding your clocked hours—the supervisors will clock you out on time. Also, if you are off on the day the shift changes, you still have to come back to replace the price tags in your assigned area. I sincerely do not recommend joining PX Mart unless you are already prepared to work overtime without receiving overtime pay.

The manager lets the deputy team leader run rampant, driving away employees she dislikes, frequently making personal attacks, and requiring unpaid overtime. Female employees who become pregnant are also required to sign liability waivers stating that any falls at the company have nothing to do with the manager or the company, yet they still have to perform heavy work. The deputy team leader has effectively become the de facto manager, and everyone has to listen to her. It is truly frightening.
