The position I applied for was at headquarters.

During the interview, I made it very clear that I did not graduate in a related field, and the interviewer also said that it was fine and that I could learn after joining the company.

But in the end, they told me that their supervisor still felt the candidate should have graduated in a related field or had relevant work experience, so the approval did not go through.

Why not limit interview invitations to people from relevant fields or with relevant work experience from the start? It was a complete waste of time.
