She hopes this person can help her redesign and replan parts of the company’s server and network architecture. The pay is low, but the requirements are extensive.

No matter what ideas a newcomer suggests, they shoot them down, saying things like, “We tried that before” or “You’re not thinking far enough ahead.” In the end, they insist on doing things their way. Maybe they’re too incompetent and afraid of losing face, or afraid that their positions will be replaced by newcomers. Staying at this company will only waste your time; there is absolutely no opportunity for growth.
An established company, ranked very highly in the industry and a leading player. There are overseas trips, and the company's financial condition is good.
The system is rigid, senior employees have a distinctive mindset, and training is inadequate. Certain positions are occupied by people involved in complex nepotistic relationships, while the remaining work is handled by contract employees. The division of responsibilities is unclear, and the work is mechanized. People with ideas of their own are advised not to try it, nor are those seeking high pay and work-life balance. Those who are willing to endure hardship and contribute their time and energy may go and experience it in detail.
