Our company is not large; combined, our offices in northern and southern Taiwan have fewer than 50 employees. The company’s policies fully comply with the requirements of the Labor Standards Act. Although our salaries cannot be compared with those of large companies, they are still reasonable for comparison. To former employees who only dare to anonymously claim that our company is a low-wage, unscrupulous enterprise: as long as you dare to disclose your name, our company is willing to publish all your salary and attendance records during your employment here, so that everyone can judge whether there was any exploitation of employees. We will also provide the evaluations and performance-review comments about you from your supervisors and colleagues, using evidence to disprove these malicious and untrue accusations. If you do not dare to do so, our company will submit all the collected comments to the court, which will determine the truth and clear our company’s name.
If you do not even know what functions the most basic tools for making a living have, you really should not call yourself a “professional.” Professionalism is not something you define for yourself; it is the recognition and affirmation of others that makes someone a professional.
Go back to school or the Institute for Information Industry to attend classes on the things you failed to learn because you slept through them. Figure them out clearly before talking about what “professional expertise” you have.
Employees who lack the ability to work or have problems with their work attitude are dismissed one by one, so the company will only retain capable people.
Those dismissed employees will disperse and look for work elsewhere. If company managers or employers want to know about the work performance of applicants coming to apply at your company, I will absolutely tell you the truth, so you do not later find it easy to invite them in but difficult to send them away.
Starting at 2.8K for fresh graduates, and 3.2K or more for those with over one year of relevant work experience. After completing three months, salary is adjusted based on the supervisor’s assessment, with an average increase of at least 1,500–2,000. Upon completing each full year of employment, the average adjustment is 10–15%. Working hours are 8:30–6:00, with lunch break until 1:30. Overtime pay is calculated from 6:00 onward. Unless there are special circumstances, employees have two days off per week. Holiday overtime is handled in accordance with the Labor Standards Act. Although an employee reported the company, an investigation confirmed that the company does meet the standards of the Labor Standards Act. After completing one year or more, employees receive a NT$1,000 red envelope for each of the three major festivals and on their birthday; those with less than one year receive NT$500.
Although the salary standard is not that of a large company, the pay at a small company should not leave engineers feeling particularly undercompensated. If there is a profitable project, small bonuses of a few thousand dollars may occasionally be distributed.
1. If you think the compensation is too low, please stay away on your own. Don’t keep submitting résumés like certain people who were fired.
2. I am an evil boss who fires employees, so if I discover you playing on Facebook or LINE during work, you will be fired immediately.
3. If you still want to come, please be prepared before you do. Thank you.
4. Anyone else who makes false accusations will be dealt with through legal channels to set the record straight.
5. Engineers who dislike using plug-ins, please turn around and leave on your own. I don’t have time to wait for you to develop everything slowly. I run a company, not a school. Taking several months to complete a project and then being smug about having plenty of time for self-study.
If you're capable, finish your work early, quickly find time to improve yourself, and then leave.
You have to use mind-reading all day to guess what the boss is thinking
Forcing yourself to do things that can't be done
None
Look at the evil boss spouting nonsense here and bullying employees
Puffing up his own worth when he is clearly deeply in debt.
Heaven is watching.
The boss checks Jobstreet every day.
Doesn't respect the expertise of the art department, uses Paint to create graphics and sends them to clients, then gloats—only to have the work rejected by the client. The client is stunned, and so is the artist.
The cleaning lady never changes, but the coworkers are different every month!
A boss who can't code,
who only blindly accepts all kinds of unreasonable client specifications,
while even the supervisors lack the ability and time to manage the employees' work,
In a certain Hualien elementary school project, the iPad specifications had clearly been agreed upon,
yet they insisted on buying a cheaper version and pretending it was good enough,
and they still dare to say this lousy trick is reasonable,
Boss and those on the forum who are defending this—what do you have to say about this?
You buy cheap junk from Taobao and still expect good quality,
and you make a fuss over buying an expansion device,
Those who are serious about coming to work, don't get fooled,
and if you do come, be mentally prepared.
The environment is clean; I recommend working there for only one year.
The boss likes proposing impractical features,
likes asking engineers to make demos after work hours,
his catchphrase is “Could you do me a favor,”
the Egg chairs can’t be expanded, yet customers are still deceived by being told there’s no problem,
he only blames employees for not reflecting on themselves,
with this kind of attitude, no wonder the turnover rate is high,
why not think about how you manage the company,
I’m telling you, if you don’t know how to reflect and only blame employees,
you might as well close the company and go back to selling juice!
What kind of lousy features is X-Round Club releasing?
And you, who leave comments on the forum defending the boss—aren’t you also being pretty damn obnoxious?
In the end, the crappy features can’t even be used, and all you can do is hide from customers,
I’m telling you, I’ve reported you to the labor inspection authorities many times for unpaid overtime. Heartless companies like yours need to be taught a lesson, yet you still think you’re being reasonable. What a joke!
Pilgrimage
Job seekers need to do more research when looking for jobs.
The work environment is okay.
All the standard benefits are provided.
Seeing comments from former employees is truly speechless. The code was written in a complete mess, yet they still dared to say that the company loves using plugins, while also complaining about low salaries. If the boss let you become shareholders, the company would probably go bankrupt, right?
I happened to come across this website and couldn't help reading all the comments. I found that the boss was far too good to these former engineers. Looking at the code left behind by the former engineers, there was basically no fundamental code structure and no organization whatsoever. They didn't know how to call native SDKs, couldn't even write basic loops, and their 3D modeling was a complete mess, yet they were still complaining about low pay and that the boss liked to use add-ons.
If the boss didn't use add-ons, could these former engineers deliver the programs the clients wanted? I genuinely have serious doubts. I don't understand where these former engineers got the confidence to criticize their salaries as being too low. After looking at everyone's code, if the company paid you more than 2.5K, I would even say you were overpaid.
There are too many selfish employees, and they even dare to laugh at the company for losing money. The company loses money—isn't that the responsibility of these engineers?~
Just having the title of engineer doesn't mean you should be paid a high salary. These former engineers are truly at a loss for words.
Personally, I think unsuitable employees should be allowed to leave. The company's high employee turnover can only show that it hired too many unsuitable engineers. There is nothing wrong with letting unsuitable employees go.
A lot of time to myself
The boss spends all day making sarcastic remarks about employees who have already left the company,
saying things like they had a bad attitude, liked causing trouble, nobody wanted to keep them, and they still haven't found a job.
All I can say is, take a lot of what you hear with a grain of salt—claims about hundreds of millions, bonuses, promotions, and so on.
Many people involved don't respond, but that doesn't mean those claims are true; they simply want to part on good terms and don't want to say too much.
But constantly smearing others to highlight how good you are really isn't something to be proud of.
Everyone leaves for a reason: better compensation, a better environment, or an atmosphere they prefer.
You portray everyone as having left because there was something wrong with them—as if they had a bad attitude and spent all day trying to undermine you.
All I can say is that many things are cause and effect. Not reflecting, not thinking, and refusing to accept other people's opinions—
this sort of one-person rule is simply about not wanting to face embarrassment. Think carefully before going!
The environment is pretty good, and there is a manager overseeing things.
The company feels like it can't retain employees; the office is very empty and deserted.
The boss and supervisor were also very insincere during the interview, and they spoke incoherently.
The announcements are also a thick stack of documents; just seeing them gives me goosebumps.
If you want a future, I wouldn't really recommend this company.
This really is just a small company—very small.
It also doesn't seem to have any major projects......
*Bright space
*The auntie helps tidy up the environment
*Many opportunities for self-learning
*Likes using plug-ins
*High staff turnover
*What is said and what is done are sometimes two different things
Key point
Not recommended
I actually thought about it very seriously for a long time. There really aren't any advantages—and it's noisy, too.
*They keep accommodating the vendor's acceptance requirements, so revisions can go on forever—until the end of time.
*They lose money every year and still let the vendors haggle down the prices.
*They constantly bad-mouth former employees, portraying themselves as the ones who were wronged.
*There’s a boss who talks nonsense and makes grandiose claims every day, along with a group of managers who flatter him and think they’re vice presidents.
*They think that if you don’t work overtime every day, you’re not trying hard enough. When you’re called in to work overtime on holidays, they even say it’s “malicious overtime.”
*There’s also someone who sleeps every day, affecting the work environment and colleagues, yet claims to be a graphic designer—or some relative of someone at the company. What an impressive display of authority.
If you're a recent graduate, you lack opportunities.
This is a place where you can hone your skills.
After all, the boss is kind (or an idiot?) and won't fire incompetent employees.
The direction is unclear, and colleagues have strong egos.
A company that really loves using “挂件” (deadweight employees). Of course, people come and go. It turns out that nowadays engineers can work in tech without even having a good grasp of English or mathematics. Think carefully before coming for an interview—there’s a reason most companies fundamentally dislike using deadweight employees, and even engineers themselves hate it.
