The boss is a teacher or something at Kainan University; do friends from Kainan get extra points?
They called a bunch of people together for an interview. The interviewing manager was extremely rude at the time, giving the impression of looking down on others because of their high academic qualifications.
Some colleagues are easy to get along with.
Supervisors give snacks to employees, haha.
The company's own-branded products have development potential.
Internal documents are processed through an official document-signing system, providing a basis for accessing information.
One piece of advice for anyone who wants to work here: “If you take things seriously, you lose.”
Everything is just formalism, so it is fundamentally impossible to do anything well. New tasks from supervisors at different levels are constantly inserted, and every one of them has to be completed immediately. If you cannot handle something right away, people will start criticizing you for being so inefficient.
If something is unrelated to your job duties, they will say that the supervisor hopes it will help you discover a different value in yourself. In any case, the key point is to do what the supervisor says first. Sometimes an instruction is issued simply because a supervisor had a sudden idea. If you suggest that there may be a better way, they will ask why you cannot just do what they said. Then, when something goes wrong, they blame you and ask why you could not think things through for yourself. Do they expect them to think of everything? Can't you use your own judgment?
By the end, you will genuinely start to doubt yourself. It is only after leaving that you can recover and understand your own value. You have to be very smart and selfish: do not help your colleagues, even when you can see that they are all struggling. Instead, learn how to use lofty-sounding justifications to push things onto other people. Say things that supervisors and the bosses want to hear, because in their eyes, your difficulties are all caused by your lack of intelligence—not because the work is overly complicated, and definitely not because the supervisors lack direction.
Compared with practical job skills, what you learn more of here are lessons about life.
No advantages at all
1. Before the interview, please prepare by visiting the company website, as the manager will ask about it during the interview.
2. While doing research online, I was surprised to find many negative reviews. During the interview, I was taken to the second floor, which appeared to be the general manager’s office, where a male manager conducted the interview. Throughout the interview, all I can say is that this man looked down on people and spoke with a self-important attitude. Applicants are advised to be mentally prepared (the interview really was as bad as the negative reviews below described—it felt extremely terrible).
Please really think it over carefully before interviewing with this company!!!
3. There is no security guard or HR staff member to ask at the company’s first-floor entrance. If you arrive early, you still have to wait for someone to take you to the second floor to fill out the forms.
1. Comfortable environment (clean and bright), with a water dispenser, coffee, tea, etc. There is a dining area (refrigerator and microwave), and sufficient parking spaces.
2. Colleagues are easy to get along with.
3. Internal procedures follow a formal official-document approval process. For those who want to become supervisors or work in the public sector in the future, this is a good opportunity for training and experience.
1. Job responsibilities are not clearly defined (it is recommended that you visit the official website to learn about the products before the interview, ask clearly about the job duties during the interview, and preferably ask the company to actually show you the work location and assignments to avoid misunderstandings between both sides. I did not ask clearly enough during my interview, which led to my being unable to accept the work content after joining the company).
2. The turnover rate is high, so you should be mentally prepared to become fully operational immediately upon starting the job.
3. When I submitted my resignation, although the supervisor’s reminder was well-intentioned, some of the conversation was unpleasant. After all, it was simply a matter of different understandings and had no direct relation to my work ability or attitude. I was serious about my work every moment I was on the job, yet was told that I had done nothing. However, the position and duties differed from what was written on the recruitment website and from what I understood initially. The person assigned to train me was very dedicated, and my colleagues were also very helpful. Precisely for that reason, I did not want to waste any more of the company’s resources (as the interview process had already incurred a cost). The workplace should be based on mutual respect: if it works for both sides, stay; if not, part ways.
※This experience is provided for everyone’s reference. I still recommend actually going to an interview and seeing for yourself; just because I was not a good fit does not mean you will not be.
None
The company’s management is very problematic. I often hear supervisors say that so-and-so has something wrong with them. Whether it is an interviewee or an employee, they have been criticized as “having something wrong with them.” The supervisors are extremely disrespectful toward employees and look down on people.
No advantages
During the interview, I was taken to what looked like the general manager's office to be interviewed by the general manager.
Throughout the interview, all I can say is that this gentleman looked down on people and had a self-important attitude.
No advantages whatsoever
I have never seen a company with such a high turnover rate. Everyone, please think twice before joining!
The company looks normal on the outside, but internally it is anything but normal. There are all kinds of practices that encourage departments to become divided, and there are no SOPs or established processes whatsoever. They only tell you to report everything up through multiple levels. No employee’s tenure exceeds three months, the office is severely understaffed, and everyone has to handle at least two jobs. There is all kinds of cross-departmental work. When they are in a good mood, everything is fine; when they are in a bad mood, they randomly reassign people to different positions. Even which department your position belongs to depends on their mood. They urgently demand everything from you. You work desperately on urgent matters and are still accused of doing nothing. If you cannot finish something, the blame always falls on your efficiency.
Many new hires want to leave after less than a day. Every morning meeting lasts more than an hour and is filled with all kinds of grand promises. They constantly tell you to plan things, and you are required to reply to LINE messages promptly even on holidays. The boss staying up late is the employees’ fault. I no longer even know whose company this is.
What I cannot stand most is the constant public scolding and humiliation, throwing things, and an atrociously bad temper. There is something to be scolded about every day, and there are also endless official documents to write; communication with the boss is done through personally delivered documents.
The most incomprehensible thing I have ever heard was: “I paid money to hire you, so not harming you is already good enough.” So please, everyone, think this through very, very carefully.
Did not experience any advantages
During the interview, the manager seemed very articulate, but after joining, it was a different story..... You are expected to get up to speed immediately, with no adjustment period, and other colleagues are often exceptionally busy due to unexpected situations....
The company is practically empty, with many seats unoccupied... Between the interview and joining, the HR person had already been replaced…
The general manager is very articulate.
After verbally offering me the job during the interview, they delayed sending the offer letter. Later, they called to withdraw the offer, claiming they had found someone else, even though the position was still posted, and bluntly said I was simply unlucky.
There are absolutely no advantages.
A terrible company with no systems or structure. The supervisors do not know how to lead people and are extremely emotional, completely lacking the qualities expected of a supervisor. They often use humiliating language toward employees and berate them in front of everyone, yet believe they are merely educating you. The general manager also frequently uses their position to order others to handle personal matters for them, misusing public resources for private purposes. Everyone, please think carefully before joining.
No advantages whatsoever
Be careful before joining. The pay is low enough as it is, and if you want to resign, they will not let you leave and may even threaten to sue. Even wages that have already been issued may be deducted again, simply because 0.5 hours does not count as overtime. Please, do not join this company. The office is severely understaffed, and everyone is taking on at least two roles. At present, none of the employees have been there for more than two months. After driving someone away by berating them, they will threaten to sue.
The office is fairly clean and bright, and the HR staff have decent manners—at least they poured a glass of water for the applicant.
I have over 15 years of work experience and more than 8 years of experience as a manager. I applied for the position of accounting manager, but the company offered a salary of only NT$36,000 per month. The general manager even said that everyone at the company starts at NT$33,000, with an extra NT$3,000 because it is a finance position. This is really far below the market rate; even my current subordinates earn much more than this.
No advantages at all...
A terrible small company—the boss starts verbally abusing you and publicly humiliating you in meetings after tricking you into joining. Many people leave within a day. Do not be fooled...
