Pros

1. Suitable for beginners to come here to hone their skills.

2. Overtime at night comes with an extra NT$80. There is no time limit on how late you have to work, so you can eat your fill, take it easy for a while, and then leave.

3. Coworkers are easy to get along with, and the HR staff are friendly and kind <3

4. There is a kitchen, microwave, and rice cooker, so you can prepare your own lunch.

Cons

1. Compared with other companies, there are zero benefits here... (no year-end bonus or company annual banquet). P.S. The annual banquet is organized by the coworkers themselves~ (sigh)

2. No salary increases whatsoever (When joining the company, they will ask about your desired salary. It is recommended that you say as high as possible; the boss's wife will bargain it down to an average amount.)

3. A daily report system (you have to type in something even when there is nothing to report)

Aside: The company is currently undergoing a transformation and is expected to start recruiting in July or August.

The boss's words during the first three minutes are the key points; everything afterward is nonsense.

Pros

1. If you can’t find a place to work during holidays or after work, the company will provide a place for you to continue working.

2. There is no probationary period, so you can devote yourself fully to development as soon as you join. You also won’t have to worry about salary adjustments after the probationary period.

3. You don’t need to worry about where to spend your salary; basically, the company will help plan for more than 100% of your money to be spent on living expenses.

4. There won’t be any overtime after you join, but you must have “responsibility.”

5. Don’t worry about having your salary deducted arbitrarily, because every category is clearly itemized, so you don’t need to worry about filing an appeal.

6. Your salary is stable and worry-free: a solid 12 months, with no need to worry about any bonus issues.

7. A perfect Scrum development system—there is never anything stable.

8. You don’t need to worry about deadlines being set too tightly; deadlines are postponed indefinitely, and orders issued in the morning can be changed by evening.

9. Don’t worry about decorating your home; in the future, the blueprint will cover the walls.

10. Coming here can greatly enhance your imagination; the boss will help install his dreams in you.

11. The pressure from KPIs isn’t very great; all your efforts can be exchanged for the words, “We won’t treat you unfairly.”

12. A comprehensive daily-report system; after you finish writing, sometimes you can even hear...

13. The boss and supervisors are all your good buddies. When they need you, they’ll call to ask for your help; when you need to take leave, they’ll use your salary to cook their own vegetables at home.

14. You can become a leader here. The strong, capable, and talented won’t stay, so the longer you remain, the further your position moves forward.

15. Don’t be afraid that you won’t be able to complete the functions in your hands, because there may not necessarily be anyone who can complete them successfully.

The outward appearance is made perfectly polished, while the inside is miserably empty.

The 7-Eleven outside pays over 20,000, better than my salary in the low 30,000s.

No one reads the daily reports after they’re written; the supervisor says he didn’t see them.

When matters come to a head, the overtime never stops; the salary never rises, while deductions never stop.

Not a single function is ever delivered properly; the boss dreams aloud in broad daylight.

If you have nowhere to vent your servile nature, this place guarantees to send you to heaven.

Cons

Rather than asking me to comment on the drawbacks, why not look at the advantages?

Pros

Work 3 hours of overtime and you get an 80-dollar boxed meal

The annual salary is actually paid out over 12 months

Cons

There’s nothing besides the extra 80 dollars

Year-end bonus? Year-end banquet? Gifts for the three major holidays?

Forget it—even holiday gifts are out of the question!

The timelines given internally for going public never count

I’ve heard around five different going-public dates!

The reasons given for keeping employees working overtime are always DEMOs and rushing to go public

After we do our best to get it done, they then say there are actually still

one or two working days left. Are you kidding me?

If you have enough of a slave mentality, you’re absolutely welcome to join!

Let’s talk about the supervisors

They may or may not look at the daily reports

They look at them, but still don’t notice any problems

The version keeps changing, and every time (?) before going public

there still isn’t a stable version

Eventually there are a whole bunch of versions

If a feature is supposed to be demonstrated the next day, shouldn’t you work on it first?

They keep adding new features even though the existing ones aren’t complete

I really have no idea where the blueprint in their heads is supposed to lead

They only make the work more complicated. The company can’t go public on schedule,

and this has a lot to do with them. They’ve worn everyone down,

and people are almost impossible to retain—do you know that?

One person has 3 or 4 jobs, and the only priorities are “do it first”

and “do it even sooner.” It’s impossible to make sense of....

The boss is something else too: an order issued in the morning can be changed by evening

Every time, he comes to the company and mouths off to everyone

He tells everyone to ask questions, so we ask how benefits related to going public

will be arranged afterward?

He actually replies: “Of course I have my own plans” = =

Damn, we just want to know what you’ve planned!

Then he makes a bunch of promises, saying there will be spring banquets and group dinners

It’s all empty talk. He even says that anyone earning less than 100,000 a month

can’t be considered to have escaped poverty. Do you know we don’t even have a third of that?

When you get right down to it, it’s all about money~

I’ve worked here for a year and still haven’t gotten a raise

There’s no overtime pay, and you can’t take annual leave after six months or a year

The moment you take leave, they deduct money from your pay, saying we should share the company’s hardships,

but in reality, we’re the only ones making allowances for the company

Why doesn’t the company make allowances for our desire to take time off?

Because the company hasn’t made any money yet~

Pros

A company that develops entertainment and video platforms

1. The three managers who interviewed me were all very articulate and seemed highly capable.

2. The company’s direction is very clear, with goals already established for both the short and long term.

3. Projects are developed using the Scrum methodology. Managers record each person’s work using points, which are used to evaluate annual performance.

Cons

The company currently needs to rush the product to market, so there will be intensive overtime. It operates under a responsibility-based work system.
