Pros

The boss is away from the office most of the time, and the colleagues get along well, but there are surveillance cameras keeping an eye on you at all times~

Cons

“Reminder:

1. Handling the tasks assigned by the boss is what you are supposed to do.

2. Making use of your abilities is something you are capable of doing.

3. Doing something you have never done before is a learning opportunity and also a chance to show what you can do; it is something you should be grateful for.”

“The boss is the person who pays your salary, so you must obey the boss unconditionally.”

“No matter what happens, even if it is not your fault, you should apologize first.”

If you want to be a slave, feel free to come!

Pros

None

Cons

1. The company has audio monitoring and surveillance cameras. The boss will tell you they are for protecting the staff, but in reality, they are used to eavesdrop on whether you say anything bad about her;

if you enjoy M, you can join.

2. The performance evaluation system is merely for show. Although the company does not have many employees, it still insists on using a performance evaluation system. The key point is that the standards for getting a raise through the evaluation are extremely difficult to meet.

Although this is a professional role, you are constantly expected to do managerial work in order to get a raise. Moreover, the conditions for a raise basically amount to flattering the boss;

they make the evaluation system sound very impressive.

3. The boss has very strange judgment when interviewing candidates and hires some inexplicable people. Even people who do not know how to perform the relevant professional work can be hired,

and afterward everyone is blamed for not having taught them properly.

4. The boss is extremely stingy, so do not expect employee trips or gift boxes. She will only give you things she does not want,

EX: fruit she does not eat, department-store freebies, and skincare products that are about to expire.

5. She is very good at painting an attractive picture. Before you join, she describes how good and promising the company is and says it uses American-style management. But after you join,

there are an overwhelming number of rules: you have to greet people three times a day, even on the computer, which is completely pointless. In reality, it still uses a traditional Taiwanese exploitative-boss management style.

6. The meetings are very pointless. Basically, they are held to please the boss; they are merely a formality.

7. The boss creates divisions herself, recruiting people who want to be her right-hand person to get rid of someone or act as her informant. If you think there is some benefit to this, you are mistaken, because

eventually she will turn on you too. Never believe her rhetoric.

8. People who resign are usually blacklisted, regardless of how many things they did at the company that were previously praised. After leaving, they are usually constantly criticized because the boss feels that they betrayed her.

9. You often have to go along with the boss's fanciful ideas—approaches that other companies clearly would not approve of, but that the boss insists on implementing. If you advise her not to do them, things will go badly because she will not listen;

only after things go wrong will she start blaming you for not speaking up sooner, even though everyone had already said so.

10. Basically, if you are very good at adapting to prison life, this company is suitable for you. You also have to get used to your coworkers constantly resigning, so you had better know how to do everything.

No advantages

Formerly: Ruijun International Co., Ltd.

Currently: Ruijian International Co., Ltd.

Cons

Adding to the response in the previous section:

1. The employee benefits listed in the job postings are just for show; not a single one is actually provided. I advise everyone that you can just stop considering this company.

2. The boss is extremely self-centered, cannot accept suggestions, and cannot see any prospects. They only tell you that things can be “discussed,” but in reality they cannot. Even the managers they hire have a very authoritarian mindset.

3. The company has fewer than approximately 10 employees, but the employee turnover rate is extremely high. The office is filled with “newcomers,” and no one can understand what everyone is doing; all you can see is people frantically busying themselves.

4. To cover up their lack of ability, the boss likes to pretend to understand things they do not. The supervisors they hire also have no experience and cannot lead the people below them, resulting in an extremely high turnover rate.

5. Although there are few employees, relationships among them are not good either. Everyone is very unfamiliar with one another. When the boss dislikes an employee, they will join forces with other employees to “put on an act” and drive out the person they dislike.

6. The production lines for the company brand’s products all cut corners, using the cheapest materials while setting the highest prices to deceive consumers. Moreover, the overseas brands have not yet authorized them; they are essentially making the products privately.

7. The boss likes to blur the line between public and private matters, often rummaging through employees’ neatly organized clothes, sponsoring strange random passersby, and blaming employees for their own mistakes.

8. They like to paint an unrealistic dream for new employees, often telling newcomers about their supposedly grand American dream.

9. The KPIs have been updated countless times. They say they will discuss them with employees, but in the end they increase them unilaterally. Once you are close to reaching the target, they raise the bar again. There are simply no sales bonuses or performance bonuses.

10. The year-end bonus is not necessarily provided every year; it depends on whether the company makes money. However, most of the time the boss claims to be short of money. Sometimes the boss will only use “employee discount credit” as the so-called year-end bonus.

11. If you perform well at work and receive praise from other colleagues, the boss will become jealous. You will have no easy days ahead, and they will make things difficult for you at every turn, because the boss does not allow anyone else to be better than them.

Pros

The boss is away from Taiwan for long periods, so it’s a place where you can coast.

Cons

1. The so-called benefit of “team meals” simply means having a meal while attending a meeting with the boss—probably about once every two months!

2. The boss is truly very self-centered, unable to take in suggestions and unable to see the company’s future.

3. The company has fewer than about 10 employees, but the employee turnover rate is extremely high.

4. To conceal her lack of ability, the boss always likes to pretend to know things she doesn’t—and it’s extremely serious.

5. There are few employees, but the relationships among them are not particularly good either; everyone is very unfamiliar with one another.

6. The products on the company brand’s production line are all made with corners cut. The company uses the cheapest materials while setting the highest prices, deceiving consumers.

7. The boss likes to blur the lines between personal and professional matters. Unless you are her relative, there is no room for mistakes.

8. She always likes to paint new employees a picture of a dream that will never come true.

9. Apart from performance, there are almost no other quantifiable KPIs.

10. If your salary is based on performance bonuses and you earn too much in a given month, be prepared for the possibility of a pay cut—and it is absolutely certain to happen!

11. The so-called year-end bonus will not be within the amount you might expect; it will shock you, possibly being even less than an intern’s salary.

12. If you perform well at work and receive praise from other colleagues, the boss will become jealous. You will have a difficult time from then on.

Pros

(Currently renamed Rui Jian International)

- The clothing industry is very interesting

- Free air conditioning in the office

Cons

Most of the drawbacks come from the boss.

- The boss is not an authoritative person; she simply keeps conveying the message that she is the founder of the company.

- The weekly meetings are completely useless.

- There are fewer than about eight people in the small office, yet it has eight cameras installed.

- The company benefits offer absolutely no advantages, except for being able to purchase the company's own brands at employee prices.

- The boss likes to paint a rosy picture and give the company a vision, but her promises have never been fulfilled.

- She treats outsiders better than her own employees. When there is a conflict of interest, she only thinks of herself, both professionally and personally.

- The boss does not know how to hire suitable people, so the office is full of inexperienced employees.

- The boss has no idea what she is doing and always makes the wrong decisions, but employees must bear the consequences.

- The boss is a Leo with a queen-like demeanor; she likes to humiliate and insult you until you admit your mistake and apologize to her.

- The company has no budget—not even for basic Facebook ads or professional photography.

- The boss likes to pry into employees' privacy and even pressures you to join all the company's private groups that do not include her.

- She does not listen to employees' suggestions; only her own ideas are completely correct.

- Although the company is an agent for American streetwear brands, it has no brand culture at all, especially because of the boss.

- Remember to update your Trello daily/weekly.

- The boss is a bottom-tier manager who insists on handling every matter, big or small, herself and expects subordinates to follow suit; she has neither authority nor credibility.

- Although the boss is rarely in Taiwan, she micromanages and closely monitors and controls you.

- She frequently invests in meaningless things, causing the company to lose money.

- Lack of ability is not a problem—as long as you praise her more at the right times, obey her, and give her an out, you can earn a high salary.

- All credit must go to the boss, even when she has done nothing.
