The workload is relatively heavy, and you often need to work overtime on your own initiative to keep up with the schedule, but overtime is not always eligible for application.
The company leans toward management by personal discretion, with systems and rules often adjusted according to the boss’s preferences.
Year-end bonuses and other bonuses are not high. The maximum year-end bonus in 2026 is 0.5 month’s salary, but few people actually receive that amount.
In addition, the company has a duty roster system, requiring employees to take turns taking out the trash.
The advantage is that HR will clearly tell you that there is no “overtime pay.” This can save you a lot of detours.
They will also let you know afterward whether you have advanced to a second interview.
The interview process has a strong “rule by personal connections” feel.
After watching the company owner's introduction video, I mistakenly thought the company was a place that respected professional expertise.
Little did I know that the salary was unprofessional.

During the interview, they directly stated that there is no overtime pay. Those who care about this point are advised not to waste their time interviewing.
The organization is noticeably flatter, and HR has quite a lot of authority.
The types of projects seem quite diverse, but in reality there is no technical specialization.

The types of projects appear to be quite diverse, but in reality there is no technical specialization.
The interview atmosphere was relaxed, and there were good responses regarding technical topics. There were no situations where I used technical terminology that the other party did not really understand.
When interviewing with the technical manager, the discussion-oriented approach made it possible to learn from the exchange of questions and answers.
The workplace atmosphere is lively, and HR frequently communicates with everyone and is willing to help resolve various issues.
Colleagues are quite willing to exchange technical knowledge and help address difficulties that arise.
The requirements in the proposed project plans are often unclear, and work may begin without first confirming them with the client, resulting in products that do not meet expectations. In addition, requirements are sometimes added at the last minute, while the schedule cannot be adjusted accordingly, creating a vicious cycle of rushing to complete the work.
Although a thorough investigation and adjustment(?) of the work processes and arrangements was conducted, there has still been no substantial improvement in the execution of existing projects.
The office atmosphere is great, and we often play mobile games together during breaks.
The managers don’t put on airs and are very easy to talk to.
When problems come up at work, HR is also very willing to listen and provide practical help 👍
The small snacks in the office are easily eaten up. If more could be replenished, it would be a perfect 100.
Colleagues at the Taichung branch often share their technical experience, and it's quite pleasant working with them.
The supervisors also frequently treat us to snacks and drinks, and there are small gifts on birthdays.
Overtime must be reported in advance; otherwise, it has to be compensated with time off in lieu.
Has cats
Exploitative company with routine overtime, long working hours, and no quality of life
Overtime pay must be applied for separately and is only paid after the boss approves it
Project schedules are tight; clients add requirements without extending the schedule
Severe imbalance in staffing and project allocation

The interview took place in 2017.
At the time, the position was for an Android Development Engineer,
but the interviewer stated that they were not an Android Development Engineer,
and said that even though they did not know Android,
they could still determine from the interviewee's answers whether they were correct answers.
OK, I respect that.
The company has cats as encouragement therapists, and everyone always goes to lunch together. The company benefits and salary are pretty much as described in the job posting. You can start work quite late, as long as you get the work done.
