At the beginning of the year, they recruited a large number of people into the company.
At first, it seemed pretty good after joining.
Then, around the end of June or beginning of July, there was a sudden organizational restructuring.
After that, some people were inexplicably laid off.
The reason? The reason was that there was no reason.
They made so many people unhappy that they left together.
What’s even more outrageous is that they then started recruiting heavily again? What the hell?
And there were still tons of bugs as usual.
The website was already unstable, yet they still wanted to keep adding this and that.
As if that weren’t enough, they casually restructured and cut staff.
You cut the manpower we had, the bugs still weren’t fixed, and you still wanted to add new features.
Why don’t you go eat shit?
Also, starting in August, salaries were paid in cash.
They claimed that the person in charge had forgotten the online banking password and was overseas.
Who are you trying to fool?
By September, they didn’t even bother giving a reason anymore.
I advise anyone thinking of joining to think twice before acting. Whether the business of that particular site will be shut down is really hard to say.
They absolutely will not tell you that technical debt like this still hasn’t been dealt with.
It’s a massive shithole~
。The colleagues are very nice and always willing to share and provide guidance. Everyone gets along very well.
。Senior management often acts like there are too many people giving orders, resulting in employees having to repeatedly do pointless work.
。Because senior management invests in multiple companies, policies and benefits are sometimes standardized across the board. Even if there are no issues at this company and its employees perform excellently, benefits may still be uniformly cut because other companies abuse them.
。Senior managers often act on impulse. If they believe certain employees are difficult to control, they will find all kinds of reasons to force them out or lay them off…including all sorts of unexpected, ridiculous excuses.
For those who are about to interview or join, I urge you to think twice:
。What they initially tell you may sound very appealing, but things might start changing even before you join.
。One example that has already occurred: before a new employee had even reported for work, they were assigned to another company…
。The other comments are all true
Pleasant relationships among colleagues (but be careful not to get tricked into revealing information by managers from other departments)
1. It is clearly a gambling-related company, yet it insists on claiming otherwise, deceiving people into joining, while not offering the compensation and benefits of a gambling company.
2. The managers lack professional expertise and do not respect expertise, believing that only their own understanding is correct. They are also extremely emotional.
3. When the company’s policies undergo major changes, no senior executives come forward to explain or offer reassurance.
4. I often hear HR say that they are HR for a certain company instead of stating their own company’s name. The positions they are recruiting for are also not listed on Hengxing’s 104 page; they are all promotional customer service roles, not purely RD positions. It is very strange and makes one wonder whether they really have nothing to do with operations.
5. They often use project bonuses to deceive employees, saying that bonuses will be paid upon completion of certain tasks, but in reality they have never paid them; they are just empty promises.
6. The benefits have been cut to the point that there are almost none left.
7. Managers without the necessary abilities remain in their positions, while employees are frequently laid off for no apparent reason.
8. They often hold absurdly long meetings with no clear focus, merely making everyone listen to a string of lectures. No matter how hard you work, your results are ignored or even treated as worthless.
9. They consider being on call during holidays to be a matter of course and expect messages to be answered immediately, as if there were no off-hours or rest time. Those who do not cooperate or reply late are scolded and subjected to criticism.
The relationships among colleagues are very good, and everyone gets along harmoniously. HR is also very nice. Apart from the people, I can't think of any other advantages.
1. The company's policies are changed over and over again. Its favorite thing to do is maliciously lay off employees under the pretext of organizational changes.
2. Job responsibilities at the company can change at any time. Employees in position A are forced to do the work of position B; if they cannot accept it, they are laid off.
3. There is a very useless CTO who occupies the position without doing the work. Normally, it seems that nothing has anything to do with him, but he only makes hindsight comments in meetings.
4. During typhoons, employees are directly required to come to the office, regardless of their safety—just because of the originally scheduled release timeline. What is especially ridiculous about this company is that it releases at least twice a week on average; if there is something they want to put out, they can release it every day.
5. Managers believe that employees should not leave work too punctually every day, and that staying late to work overtime is how you show responsibility for the product. They even require employees to be on call at night or on holidays, without paying overtime. Employees who are not on call are considered irresponsible toward the product, and their performance ratings are lower than those of people who worked overtime because something went wrong.
6. They often use performance bonuses as a way to placate employees, but in reality they have only paid one once. In practice, this is a company that is both stingy and loves to haggle with employees. They want employees to take more responsibility for the product but refuse to treat them better. (The benefits promised during the interview, which were better than those required by the Labor Standards Act, were completely cut for no known reason after employees worked excessive overtime for the product, without any explanation or reason.)
7. Requirements come from all directions from upper management, but their opinions are inconsistent with one another, making it very difficult for people below to work. You satisfy one manager's requirements, only to have them overturned by an even higher-level executive. What the hell?
8. Meteorite-like requirements: they must be delivered today, tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow, and then they complain about why other departments do a better job. They only take care of one site, while we have sites one through seven. What the hell again?
In conclusion, after saying all this... anyone who wants a good quality of work life should absolutely not fall into this hellhole!

During the interview, they said they did not engage in gambling-related business, but after joining, it turned out to be gambling-related. They even have to deceive employees to lure them in. It is simply a terrible gambling company. Before joining, they promised benefits such as annual leave and movie tickets after passing the probationary period, but they can cut them all before you pass probation. None of what was discussed in the interview counts. It is a gambling company with neither integrity nor benefits, and the salary offered is not even a gambling-industry salary. Honestly, I’m not kidding—please think twice before joining.

Recently, people have been resigning constantly—basically every week. Some colleagues were also moved to different teams, and it seemed to cause a lot of unpleasantness. Although I don’t know what happened, too many people have resigned, which has left everyone feeling anxious... But the management team has remained very quiet, without making any statement or explanation. I heard that another team has even started working on products related to sexual innuendo, which feels really frightening...
The colleagues are really nice, super supportive, and easy to get along with.
1. The managers are incompetent and only know how to slack off. Whenever they assign tasks, they just say, “The boss wants it, and it has to be done today.”
When they work overtime voluntarily, they emotionally pressure their subordinates to work overtime with them. The daily test updates are vague, and product releases only start just before the end of the workday, then continue all the way from beta updates to the production release, with no idea what time everything will be finished. The workflow is a complete mess. They do not properly finish the officially scheduled tickets and instead keep frantically adding plug-ins. When asked why, the only answer is, “The boss wants it.” The managers have completely given up communicating with upper management; they just nod and say yes, then exploit their subordinates.
2. The managers have narrow perspectives and do not respect professional expertise.
3. On October 31, almost all benefits that were better than those required by the Labor Standards Act were cut, effective November 1, without any explanation of the reasons for implementation.
4. Employees are forced to work during typhoons, and the attitude is absolutely terrible.
Note: The company originally called Hengxing Technology has been dissolved. The information shared below is about Hengxing Network Technology.
Basically, there are no advantages, and parking nearby is extremely difficult.
Even the office has not finished being furnished yet.
Many of the internal systems and processes are handled in a rough, improvised way; whether that is good or bad depends on the individual.
The company is involved in livestreaming. As for whether it has any connection to gambling, assess that for yourself.
The company was only established in 2019. To put it nicely, it is a Taiwan–Singapore joint venture. << In reality, the salary offers are nowhere near foreign-company rates; many startups offer more than they do.
As mentioned above, the company cannot offer competitive annual salaries, yet it is very bold in recruiting and wants to find experienced people with 2–3+ years of experience.
The salaries offered are completely at Taiwanese-company levels. Experienced candidates should not waste their time interviewing...
The interviewer said he was the CTO, but when I asked about some mainstream technologies, he directly told me he did not know... WTF.
At one point, it turned into me sharing technical knowledge, which left an extremely bad impression and wasted my time.
It felt exactly like they were bringing people in for interviews to poach technical knowledge and learn from them...
As above, he had no idea what value the technologies I discussed had, yet he still wanted to cut the salary. Internally, I was rolling my eyes extremely hard.
Once the interview reached a certain point, I quickly left. I had absolutely no desire to waste any more time.
