Trade Eye “Seriously Violated the Labor Standards Act in Year 108 of the Republic of China” — Taichung City ruling
Trade Eye seriously violated the Labor Standards Act in 2019; the Taichung City Government ruling is linked below.

Wages were not paid directly to employees in full!
This manager, “Big Zhu,” loves using young women as secretaries or sales staff. If they do not obey, he berates them harshly in meetings, makes arbitrary deductions from their wages, and even pressures them to resign!
The company also provides almost no training, just throwing a pile of documents at new employees and telling them to read them on their own! Many new hires disappear after only one or two days at work!
He only cares about new employees who are relatively attractive!
A short assistant who has been there for several years acts all high and mighty and likes to sow discord behind people’s backs!

I met a close, kind-hearted friend.
The employee turnover rate in the trade department is very high, yet no one has ever received severance pay because they were all driven away by verbal abuse……
During meetings, Supervisor Zhu often berates employees and makes unreasonable demands that they complete extra work. In particular, he frequently finds fault with and makes things difficult for employees who do not meet his expectations.
What I was hoping for was an occasional snack……
Trade Eye, the second-generation heir, likes to berate people during meetings, acting as if he is so impressive. I have worked for 10 years and have been at quite a few companies, but this is the first time I have seen a manager with such poor character. He privately picked a fight with me and berated me, and I was so angry that I talked back to him!
He also keeps a plant employee who pretends to care while being responsible for investigating his colleagues’ work!
Having worked at this company for about three years, I got to know the strengths of different industries in Taiwan and greatly expanded my knowledge and horizons. I don’t think this is something that can be measured in money. The company has already moved toward diversification and new media, and can provide Taiwan’s industries with a wide range of marketing solutions. I learned many different skills in this area, which will be a great help in my future plans. This job is genuinely something you could do for a lifetime. To those of you in front of the screen, do you think new media will disappear?! The answer is no!!
That’s what I wanted to express!!
Unfortunately, I have to return home to take over the family business. At present, Trade Eyes’ areas of development are expanding increasingly, and it has already broken away from the framework of traditional thinking!!
Highly recommended.
Young people who are ambitious, willing to work hard, positive, and kind are encouraged to join!! Keep it up!
I think there is no company or enterprise in the world that is 100% perfect!!
Is being a family business a disadvantage? It depends on how you see it.
In my opinion, there are indeed areas where the company’s systems could be improved.
As for the company supervisors’ EQ, I think every company owner has their own temper~ Haha, which company owner doesn’t have a temper? Tell me.
But this is indeed something that needs to be reviewed!
Actually, those of you in front of the screen who have carefully read these comments—I think anyone who has positive intentions and a bit of rationality can tell which are complaints and which are genuine reviews! Use your wisdom, think it through, and make a wise choice!! Keep it up!!
To summarize the disadvantages for everyone:
The company’s systems should not be changed so frequently.
Communication regarding supervisors’ EQ could be improved.
Workload allocation needs improvement.
I have been with the company for more than two years and saw malicious comments making claims that were not based on fact, so I wanted to share my perspective based on my own experience here.
*Pros:
1. I personally think the work is forward-looking and challenging. We often learn through innovation how to accomplish the tasks assigned by the company, and I think that is very good.
2. The atmosphere among colleagues is very good, and everyone is willing to teach new employees and help one another.
3. The managers are very easygoing. When assigning tasks, they first walk you through them and then do them once themselves. If there is anything you do not understand, you can ask them for clarification, and they are always willing to teach.
Simply put, this is just my personal perspective.
Based on my own experience,
I feel that you can learn a lot at this company.
I personally believe that everyone needs to be challenged and strive to improve.
The only possible downside is that it can get very busy when there are many tasks assigned by the company. But looking on the bright side, it is a good thing when the company is busy—it means business is doing well :)
I just finished the interview today. The company is currently undergoing a second-generation succession, and I feel this job is quite challenging and has good prospects.
The second-generation owner is quite sincere and visionary. I would consider joining the team and working hard together.
At first, when I searched online, I saw some information about the company on the platform and was a little alarmed, so I thought about not going to the interview.
Later, the supervisor called and we chatted, and I felt it would be worthwhile to learn more about the job.
There is labor and health insurance, gift bonuses for the three major holidays, a five-day workweek, and business commissions. Compared with the compensation offered by the other companies I interviewed with, the overall package is quite good.
I suddenly found myself wanting to challenge myself to earn a higher salary
Sales staff have to clock in and out.
Very punctual about starting and ending work
You have to be very assertive and stand firm to protect your position.
The people above you do not have the employees’ backs, so employees can easily suffer losses.
They claim to have legitimate employee rules, but in reality they are not particularly proper either. There are many excuses for docking pay, such as being late or failing to clock in.
Supervisors change their attitude faster than turning a page, and decide whether people stay or go based on personal preferences.
Each position is worse than the last. If you have not joined yet, please think carefully about whether you want to step into this mess—and whether you even like stepping into such places—before coming.
There are occasionally some snacks.
A family-owned business with an extremely high employee turnover rate. From the owner to the managers and some employees, many are members of the same family, and they are very calculating. Overtime pay is not provided. Colleagues vary—some are good and some are bad—so beware of malicious people around you. You will be monitored as soon as you join the company, whether in terms of hardware or software. The manager makes decisions based on emotions and speaks inconsistently and contradictorily. No matter what goes wrong, it will always be your fault. Be careful: company policies may be changed at any time, and you may be assigned quite a few unrelated tasks. If you are dismissed, do not sign any contracts or consent forms. In short, I do not recommend this company.
You get the opportunity to see various industries and even learn about ones you’ve never been exposed to before.
It’s somewhat helpful when changing jobs for your next position, haha.
As mentioned above, it’s a family business, but the person in charge of the company goes to great lengths to distance themselves from that title. The turnover rate among new sales staff is extremely high, and the company really likes hiring young women who have just graduated (because they’re easy to fool?) for sales positions.
During interviews, they never mention the company’s bonus and salary system. The policies can be changed overnight, senior employees have been thoroughly brainwashed, the management is very calculating, and there are piles of unnecessary rules. Employees are not respected...
In short, this is an extremely traditional company that thinks that as long as it pays you a salary, anything else you do (for the company) is simply what you should do. They won’t give you a cent more than they should, but they won’t deduct a penny less than they’re supposed to.
Punctual start and finish times, basically no overtime, you can go out for lunch, and there are occasional snacks
1. You will sign a contract when you first join. All job seekers, please read it carefully. The clause stating that the company will not pay severance if you leave during the probationary period because you were dismissed is illegal, so pay close attention. An illegal contract has no legal effect even if you sign it. If the company forces you out, remember not to fall into the trap of signing a “mutual agreement to terminate employment.”
2. Your supervisor is a second-generation rich person who has no idea how to manage people, yet thinks they are very good at it. If you feel frustrated after joining, do not automatically assume that the problem is you; they have problems too.
3. Your colleague is an arrogant and overbearing woman (if it is still the same person now).
4. Unless you are part of the same family, basically you will not have any opportunity for promotion (although most family businesses in Taiwan are probably like this...)
This is a typical family-run business. Basically, the atmosphere at work each day depends largely on the boss’s and managers’ moods. Overtime pay is not provided. There is a lot of secretarial work, but the salary is very low; moreover, even for the same workload, salaries can differ by several thousand dollars. The salary is below NT$30,000, so anyone considering joining should think carefully. Secretaries are occasionally asked to help at overseas exhibition booths. Be sure to clearly discuss and confirm the overtime pay and expenses for this with the manager during the interview. In addition, the boss may deduct pay for typhoon leave without prior notice. Since the Labor Standards Act does not clearly specify this matter, the boss really does whatever they want... Please be careful. This company has great ambitions, but it is constantly understaffed and has a high turnover rate. Despite this, management continues to accept new projects and does not really consider the employees’ circumstances. As a result, the error rate at work can be very high. In short, I really do not recommend this company.
