Pros

A company that is very suitable for coasting toward retirement. There isn't too much work, and the year-end bonus is fairly generous, but salary increases are slow. It's suitable for people without much ambition who want a stable life. The company culture is very traditional. Being able to leave work early is a plus, but the lunch break is relatively short. The company has a cafeteria, so you don't have to worry about what to eat for lunch.

Cons

Promotion is slow; there is only one position for each opening.

I was employed from last June until the end of last year… The salary advertised online was indeed very tempting… But during my employment, I received 20,000 in my first month, followed by 50,000 for each of the next four months. I also received a Mid-Autumn Festival bonus and other bonuses calculated according to my length of service… They were paid twice, each time around 4,700, as I recall… I’m not familiar with the other branches, so I’ll share my experience based on the Taozhu Division here….. The system is based on team leaders and team members…. During my first month, I was very proactive and asked the team leader every day, “What should I do today?” The team leader was indifferent…. Their command ability was insufficient…. They often wore a poker face…… When I asked questions, they wouldn’t explain….. And even if they didn’t explain, they would tell me to guess….. Starting in the second month, I waited for them to tell me what to do before doing anything…. Unexpectedly, they were still unhappy about that…. I really didn’t know what I was supposed to be paired with them for! You can go to Yongda… but you have to meet a team leader who is willing to teach you…. Then you’ll find the work fulfilling and enjoyable…. I believe the managers at the Taozhu Division definitely know why newcomers leave…. They can’t do anything about these team leaders either…. So here is my humble suggestion…. You don’t have to work with elevators to make money…… As for Yongda installation… just forget it! Even if you genuinely want to work and learn, encountering a team leader who doesn’t want to teach will just waste your time!

Cons

In one word……… chaotic

No problem surpassing an annual salary of one million after three years, but you have to trade your health for it.

Cons

After working here for some time, in principle I felt it was a good company, but in reality there are a lot of problems. In Tainan, the basic workload for each maintenance worker is 180 elevators per month, and many workers are assigned 190–200. The company has few improvement measures. The number of elevators keeps increasing, along with the additional workload. They work people like superheroes: handle breakdowns yourself and find a way to finish servicing all the assigned elevators. If you raise an issue, they just think there are too many problems.

They keep promoting occupational safety and requiring compliance, but if the fundamental workload problem is not solved, how can anyone work safely on the road or at work? Every day, you rush around visiting customers.

If an accident occurs, you have to bear the responsibility yourself. If you report it to management, it will affect your year-end bonus and performance review.

The monthly performance evaluations are unfair. Because there are too many assigned elevators, you may not be able to complete repairs, and they will give you a low performance rating, resulting in you working harder than others but earning less.

Normally, you cannot even finish servicing your own assigned elevators. If you happen to be on duty and someone is absent that day, you still have to handle the absent employee’s elevator breakdowns. When you report that you cannot finish servicing all the elevators, they just tell you to find time to deal with it yourself and come out to service elevators on your days off.

If you want a stable job, this is the place for you! A standard retirement company! Its year-end bonuses are the best among the three major elevator companies.

Cons

Set in its ways, obsessed with academic credentials, and a standard old-generation public-sector-style retirement company.

A common problem with old companies~~~ labor costs are too high. Therefore, unless you’re from the post-1980s generation and have few family responsibilities, an impressive academic background, and genuine competence, you can basically forget about getting a raise!

No matter how extensive or impressive your experience was before applying, if someone applying for the same position has slightly higher “academic credentials” than you... even if you both get hired and they can’t do anything, simply because their academic credentials are a little higher than yours... their salary will still be higher than yours. Managers also judge people by their abilities, and will always assign tasks to whoever knows how to do them. After a while, you start to wonder why you earn less than others while having to do more work, and eventually you end up slacking off too.

Young people with drive, ambition, and ideas, don’t come here. If you stay too long, you won’t be able to leave; after moving to other related small or mid-sized companies, you’re guaranteed to feel that the workload is so intense you can’t keep going.

The installation department is further divided into several teams.

If you’re assigned to a good supervisor, consider yourself lucky.

If you’re assigned to a bad one—

one who has no patience to teach you—

even spending one day there is painful.

Your supervisor decides your leaving time and break times.

The work sites you’re assigned to are often far from home,

at least more than 30 minutes away.

Only interview experience provided: The interview process was very long, and there were many tests, mainly testing your concentration. After introducing the job, there was an individual interview. There were no standards whatsoever for selecting candidates; it purely depended on the manager’s preferences. And the reason stated in the rejection email I eventually received was that there were not enough openings—then why the hell recruit in the first place?
