Managers keep being replaced; no one respects anyone else. Employees cannot get anything done.
You have to curry favor with the two-faced people. If you choose the wrong side, you will be ostracized.
If you just want to work properly, there is no time for infighting. Fairness is hard to find.
The Little Prince has been poisoned and brainwashed. The company feels so unfamiliar; life is so difficult.
The venue is quite nice.
The position I interviewed for was “Business Development Manager,” but the interviewer was the Vice President of the “Food and Beverage Department.” It didn’t really matter, though. The main point is that throughout the interview, the interviewer spent more time bragging about his own achievements than I spent answering his questions. That didn’t really matter either, so after I got home, I Googled the achievements he mentioned, but couldn’t find a single piece of information about them. The only result was what appeared to be a company registered under his name that had already ceased operations (with total capital of 50,000, solely owned; based on my experience, businesses of this type are usually highly problematic and risky. I hope this isn’t him—I may just be overthinking it). I also managed to find his personal Instagram. He seemed completely unlike the person he claimed to be, who supposedly earned an incredibly high monthly salary. His only overseas travel photo was from Thailand (pfft >口<). Maybe he is simply extremely low-key? (But that was completely impossible to tell from how much he bragged during the interview.) It was clear that the interviewer really wanted to “instruct (humiliate)” the interviewee rather than genuinely understand the interviewee’s abilities. This position seems to be actively targeting former flight attendants, especially attractive ones, and the “prerequisite for the job is that you can’t be married??? Black-person-confused-face.” It feels very problematic, or as though there may be some ulterior motive—I have no idea what he is thinking. I am also a former flight attendant, so ladies, please be careful and cautious. I have not yet received any follow-up notification. Unless he offers an exceptionally high salary, I am not considering it at all.
Can't think of any advantages
I would like to use this comment to express my deep concern and dissatisfaction regarding the bullying behavior exhibited by certain managers currently at the golf course. These behaviors have seriously affected the work environment and employees' mental health, and they should not exist within a company culture that advocates respect and inclusion.
First, we need to face the fact that workplace bullying is not a minor issue; its impact on individuals and teams is extremely far-reaching. Certain managers use their authority to verbally insult employees, make unreasonable work demands, publicly belittle them, and engage in other such behavior. This not only harms employees' self-esteem, but also destroys trust and the atmosphere of teamwork. Such behavior is unacceptable and does not align with our golf course's core values.
Second, this bullying directly leads to low employee morale and reduced productivity. Employees working under pressure and fear are not only unable to perform at their best, but may also choose to resign due to prolonged psychological stress. This not only causes the golf course to lose human resources, but also weakens our competitive advantage. Taifeng Golf Course should be a place where people are willing to commit themselves and feel respected and valued.
No advantages
I would like to express my deep dissatisfaction and concern regarding the bullying of employees by certain supervisors at the golf course. These actions not only violate the golf course’s values and ethical standards, but also seriously affect employee morale and work efficiency.
First, I would like to emphasize that all employees have the right to work in a respectful and fair environment. Whether it involves verbal abuse, public humiliation, or unfair treatment directed at individuals, these all constitute bullying and should be taken seriously and addressed. However, we have seen certain supervisors abuse their authority to exert psychological pressure on employees. This not only damages individuals’ dignity but also negatively affects harmony throughout the team.
Second, this bullying has persisted for a long time, causing employees’ loyalty to the golf course to decline and their enthusiasm for work to diminish. Some employees have even chosen to resign. This not only increases training costs and recruitment pressure, but also damages our reputation and competitiveness in the industry. Employees are the company’s most valuable asset, and their well-being and job satisfaction directly affect the long-term development of Taifeng Golf Course.
Just looking at this company's job postings on the employment website tells you that no one can stay for long.
Only eunuchs and palace maids remain; everyone else comes and goes in waves, one batch after another.
It lets you get to know many people in a short time.
It really is a place well suited for staging a palace drama.
The master is incompetent, and the lapdogs wag their tails.
Laughable
No manager! You didn’t read that wrong—there really is no manager! Office desks are empty! Colleagues disappear without a trace! Eunuchs and palace maids have the most power! HR is absurdly chaotic and has no standards. No one answers questions; they make you guess for yourself. Being bad-mouthed without knowing what you did wrong is an everyday occurrence. They pretend not to understand anything and play dumb and innocent, staying offline all day, while boasting about international standards and Michelin awards. You can understand the simple materials just by reading them—what’s the point of having a manager! The company’s reputation is laughable; when people are leaving, there’s still a bunch of nonsense. No one dares to issue the resignation form—stunned cat, black-question-mark meme! You don’t see cooperation; internal conflict is an everyday occurrence!
Salary is paid at the beginning of the month
Watching some people in the entertainment industry, whose public personas seemed so good, be exposed for who they really are, and then looking back at my former company—people who were paid very little each month, had technical skills, and carried a lot of responsibility while contributing their labor were destroyed by upper management and executives with little ability, who only had a mouth to talk and never had to pay any price. I truly feel that this is a company where it is so easy to make money, get a high salary, coast along, and do nothing. Please stay wholeheartedly at this supposedly wonderful company. I was foolish to work for you, relay messages, and withstand attacks from everyone, still holding on by myself. I wanted to please you, thinking you would protect me. The person who hurt me most was you. I hope the lies you told will be exposed, that it will be discovered how you knew suppliers through under-the-table deals and how much benefit the vendors gave you separately, that you paid cash for purchases without receipts, patched up and altered inventory counts, and how much food and other things you ate or took away. I hope your public persona collapses and the whole world finds out.
How could there be
They made the job sound so impressive in the interview, but after I was hired, I found that there were more empty desks than employees in the office—what kind of trick is that? No one trains or mentors you, and no one answers questions. During the interview, they bragged about how capable they were and how high their standards and requirements were, but in reality there are no standards, they’re unprofessional, and they make everything up—is this a scam? They keep saying they’re Michelin-level internationally, but everyone in the office knows they’re lying; only the boss doesn’t, yet they still keep saying it? Whenever something goes wrong, the employees underneath are the unlucky ones who get pushed out to take the fall. Nothing is good enough when they talk about you: “If you’re so capable, you do it!” Your shoes are really ugly, and your socks are filthy, you know?
The golf course is awesome!
There are so many system standards, yet not a single person understands maintenance and execution. How is the company supposed to operate?
The owner has many ideas, the managers have many ideas—everything is just ideas. How are we supposed to put them into practice?
The workload keeps increasing for the same salary. I’m just a junior employee, yet I’m doing work far beyond my responsibilities.
The company has no respect for people. Is it really so difficult to let those who understand make the decisions instead of constantly interfering?
Everyone, from top to bottom, has problems managing their emotions. The daily shouting and yelling is really too much!
No one can make decisions, and no one listens to anyone else. Yet when something goes wrong, the frontline staff are expected to take the fall?
They can’t recruit or retain good talent, while the people who should leave sit back and do nothing. Where is the owner’s responsibility?
They’re unprofessional and unwilling to take responsibility. Can shouting “Michelin international standard” all day really make it Michelin international standard?
A perfectly good golf course was turned into a hotel, and the result today is truly beyond words!
As soon as you join, it’s like taking over from the previous person—the newcomers are left responsible for everything!
The air conditioning isn’t cold, it drizzles indoors when it rains, the food isn’t fresh, and getting to work requires mountain climbing. When will these problems be resolved?
Three feet of ice does not form in a single day.
Those above set an example, and those below follow; when the wind blows, the grass bends.
If the upper beam is crooked, the lower beams will be askew.
Gold and jade on the outside, rotten cotton within.
Beautiful surroundings, but it leaks whenever it rains!
It's unbearably hot, and they won't even repair the faulty air-conditioning system—they just expect employees to endure it! The daily commute is employees' time to build physical strength; with all the uphill and downhill walking, you'll soon be guaranteed to have a pair of carrot legs!
They keep Michelin on their lips all day long—why not go take a look at the reviews?
The senior management only knows how to bully employees and colleagues, concealing things from those above while bullying those below. From the moment that person took office, they drove away a group of veteran employees and cursed out a bunch of new hires. Clearly, they simply lack the ability and are afraid of being replaced! As long as this kind of person remains, this company can continue to be a complete mess!
Boss, open your eyes—the one who should be replaced is that tomboy.
Looks glamorous, seems impressive, and appears to be calm and peaceful,
The boss has no idea what they are thinking and does nothing to manage the chaos. I’m curious why the boss would let a repeat offender and habitual liar become a manager—someone who never knows anything when asked and does not dare take responsibility. It was clearly your order, yet whenever problems arise, you only push them onto frontline employees. When something goes wrong, you harshly berate the staff below you, while pretending to be suffering and aggrieved. The entire company has already been driven away by your infighting and hostility, with everyone resigning, and then you simply shrug and say it was the employees’ own problem. Then you make trouble for other managers, go around saying that people are terrible and do no work, and that you are anxious and working so hard—that everything is being held together by you. What exactly can you do? You are not even as capable as a basic team leader; ordinary full-time employees have more sense of responsibility than you do.
The boss cannot see how hard ordinary employees work and only plays favorites. The company has no systems at all and is a complete mess—the double standard of double standards. There is nothing to learn, only overwhelming sorrow.
・The environment is great for spending big money.
・It used to be very popular.
・They keep posting job openings because they’re severely understaffed.
・Driving there is very inconvenient—you can’t drive up and park; everyone has to take the shuttle bus.
・A family business, with Taiwan Glass’s second-generation heir at the helm.
・In the second interview with the triangle-eyed vice general manager, they said that Taiwan Glass’s second generation listens to them very closely, and that they have the final say on everything in the company.
・The job duties are very “U-mo”; they use marketing staff as all-purpose superheroes, pay sidekick-level wages, and don’t respect professional expertise.
・The vice general manager previously worked at D.Co. & Co.; their reputation and character among the sisters are both very poor (they stabbed the head chef in the back to rise to the top).
・The environment is truly beautiful, yet everyone—especially HR—is deeply disillusioned.
